1st time at Wolfe cottage today. Apart from being in the middle of nowhere my sat nav safely guided me there. Upon arrival was made very welcome and the help and assistance given setting up and moving lights and changing backgrounds was extremely useful. Great atmosphere, lovely big shooting space and good equipment. Definitely worth another visit

I had such a lovely time working at Wolfe Cottage! Andrew and Caroline are the most welcoming, hard-working, and hilarious couple I’ve ever met.

I was very impressed with Caroline’s skills, not only as a make-up and special FX artist, but also as a set designer. She has an eye for detail which really added to the authenticity of our shoot.

Andrew’s a very practical gentleman who clearly puts 100% into what he does. Always on-hand to assist with lighting and set-up. The sets he built were amazing, and the effort put into it was a sight to behold on its own.

To top it all off, the studio is pretty spectacular too! Extremely well equipped with props and lighting, plus there’s plenty of space. It’s rare to find a studio this good! It’s an absolute pleasure to work in.

(Side note: tea, coffee, and cake - also good!)

How great it is to be back at wolf cottage!!! Always guaranteed a amazing shoot and time with Caroline and Andrew. I would have to say the most welcoming and friendly place I've worked. With Caroline's amazing makeup skills even after the shoot I managed to scare people when ordering food! And the studio set up. How amazing the scene look like! It was better than Hollywood!! It looked so real and authentic like in was exactly in the trenches.. It was better then million pound budget films. Ibe worked at pinewood and Elstree etc and nothing has looked this good ! I love shooting here . If your are a photographer or model you will be guaranteed for a great shoot a warm welcome and a brilliant time! Can't wait for the next one !

Ben Woodier and Ryan Parker have covered everything I would have put in references for Andrew and Caroline and the "Lest We Forget" shoot at the magnificent Wolfe Cottage studio. I had provided WW1 uniforms for the lads, with some additional props for the trench and hospital sets, and it was incredible to see them brought to life by Andrew, Caroline, Ben, Ryan and Freya (whose amazing costumes were made by Caroline - her industry knows no bounds). Only my second time as a photographer at Wolfe Cottage but it already feels like a second home with the most incredible hosts!

My first shoot today at the lovely Wolfe Cottage Studio.

A terrific studio and Andrew and his Caroline couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, and to cap it all the icing on the cake, well jam on homemade scones to be precise. I am speechless.

My only grumble is that it is situated a long way from me but I will be going again very soon and probably staying over somewhere locally to have more time to savour this stupendous studio.

Highly recommended. Thank you, Andrew and your lovely "boss", Caroline.

This was my second shoot at Wolfe Cottage Studio. Once again Andrew and Caroline made me feel incredibly welcome. The facilities are excellent, location is fantastic and the two hosts... second to none.

Similarly to last time (yet collaborating with the lovely Soria today) I have so many excellent shots that I can work with it will be difficult to choose what to do first!

I have been and will continue to recommend and book sessions with Andrew and Caroline.

I look forward to the next time I can visit this terrific studio and team.

WOW WOW WOW...Where to start with Wolfe Cottage Studios?

Andrew & Caroline have got to be two of the most genuine, kind-hearted and loveliest people to be around. They contacted me about doing a studio weekend several months ago when I moved down to the area, on first communications they seemed like a very nice professional couple running a studio from their home with the added luxuries of having an in house MUA too. Caroline offered to do my makeup for the studio days which I was very grateful for.

I can honestly say that within minutes of arriving at their house they welcomed both myself and Leon in like we were family. We were fed, watered, had a beautiful bedroom with an en suite, we had lots of love from the two beautiful huskies Ghost and Spirit ♥ and we even got to meet Andrew beautiful bird. Both evenings we all nattered away over wine for hours like we had been friends for years. They both exceeded my expectations on every level.

The perfect hosts, the kindest the people, the funniest of couples :D They both have incredible banter both together and with us too. I think I laughed more that weekend than I have done in months. Andrew has a very dry sense of humour which I find really hilarious and during the course of the studio days he had me in stitches. Caroline is such a sweetheart and so talented with her makeup skills, she created such beautiful looks over the 2 days and the photographers were very impressed with her styling on the outfits too for each of them. They really are the full package when it comes down to it. It is much more than being a great space when you are hosting models at your studio, it is the personality, the hospitality, the attention to details, looking after your model and making it a fun experience all round. Wolfe Cottage have this in abundance.

The studio is always kept heated throughout the day, endless offers of tea/coffee, lunch breaks and Andrew is on hand to assist where it is needed and Caroline too with any touches up or changes to makeup and wardrobe.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. That's why I've been back again :D this weekend. Back for the studio 'Halloween Club Night' with both myself and Leon as the models. Caroline did the special effects makeup which she had been practising for prior to the shoot. I was a Vampire and Leon a Zombie. The makeup and styling was insanely good. The whole night was a hoot and everyone got some epic shots! We had added on another full day studio day the following day too for me solo which had already sold out after the first weekend I'd shot there a month before :), we stayed over again that evening and Caroline did both mine and Leons makeup for a Halloween party we were going to on Sat evening.

We seemed to carry on where we left off last time and the 3 days were a blast from start to finish, Caroline excelled herself yet again with makeup and her delightful cooking and Andrew was as ever hilarious!!

I'd love to say the classic ' we like Andrew but we love Caroline' however that isn't true. We don't like either of them, we LOVE them both!

Leon Lift

First off, I have to thank Andrew for putting us up in his and his wives beautiful countryside home for whilst we shot there. Their house is truly wonderful!

The banter that Andrew and Caroline throw at each is great. They are so different with unique personalities in one sense but also completely made for each other in another. You'll constantly be laughing in their company as they constantly jump on things each other say and fire witty/hilarious comments back at one another. Whilst you're staying with them you can guarantee you'll be treated like family. The hospitality you get there is unbeatable. You'll never go thirsty or hungry and Caroline's cooking is amazing. (plus she tries to accommodate for what you like as well which is very kind)

What gives Wolfe Cottage an edge as a studio is the hard work put in to constantly create new props to be used in the creative sets they conjure up all year round. The hours put in are endless but the results are incredible. These two are doing something different and it's impressive. This showed in the Halloween themed club night where for my set they had set up a perfectly themed back drop. brung in a tonne of leaves that were collected from the garden, had a fog machine set up to set the eerie scene and then full on zombified me with torn clothes, gory make up and had me biting down on blood capsules to finish off the gruesome look.

I must also add that we had an awesome little photoshoot on the Saturday morning with Andrew. He managed to get a really old American ford motor which we were lucky enough to pose inside. This was a nice little addition to finish off our time there and it made for some real cool shots!

A wonderful but all too brief shoot here courtesy of the amazing Andrew and Caroline immediately showed me that Wolfe Cottage deserves every one of its 124 recommendations and plaudits. Andrew being a consummate studio technician took a lot of trouble finding a way round what seemed an insoluble problem with my equipment and we came away with some good shots. The location is very atmospheric and the beautifully equipped studio far bigger than it looks from outside, but Wolfe Cottage owes its unique welcome and warmth to the perfect chemistry of the two presiding genii of the place. Thank you so much - here's to the next visit!

I had an utterly wonderful weekend here at the studio, with the most epic of host duos and beautiful surroundings!

Andrew and Caroline are the charismatic couple behind this pristine studio and grounds, they fill the place up with character, laughter and creativity - with scrumptious food and sooo many amazing props/outfits/make-up, what more could you want on a studio weekend??

Andrew has the lighting know how and Caroline is the stylist, they run the studio perfectly in tune - I can honestly say that this amazing couple are the best studio hosts ever and I would go again & again!

Oh wait, I'm back next year :)

If you like Beyonce, you'll LOVE Wolfe Cottage!

Andrew warmingly shares my love for the Queen B of sass and jumped with glee when I requested for him to play Beyonce! ;)

On a more serious note I genuinely had a fantastic time at Wolfe Cottage, Andrew and Caroline are very loving and hospitable and really make you feel like family.

This was my first time at the studio and when walked I was really impressed by the space and height, as a primarily athletic model this was prime for me as there are not many studios in the UK where I can make full use of my athletic skills!

Andrew did very well to persevere with my early morning mardy 'don't speak to me until I've had coffee' mood and once I had caffeinated up we were having a good laugh and banter and it felt like I had known him years :)

Caroline is like a fairy godmother, throughout the day she was always on hand offering cups of tea and is incredibly talented at dressmaking and coming up with brilliant ideas and concepts!

And then theres Ghost! (And Spirit and the birds) but lovely Ghost I took a special liking too, he's playful, friendly and howls on demand!

I highly recommend Wolfe Cottage to both models and photographers and I am looking forward to future events!

4th shoot at Wolfe Cottage, I had the benefit of watching Andrew work under extreme pressure. The planned 'Birds of Prey' shoot had to move indoors because of extreme bad weather, but Andrew masterfully marshalled his resources and ensured we all had a great shoot, aided by the great work of MUA Bear and some delicious cake. Honestly I'd go just for the cake. It's really, really good cake.

Today I had my first shoot at Wolfe Cottage Studio, and I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed every second of it. I got to meet the lovely Andrew and Caroline, also I met their adorable dogs.

The studio itself is a very beautiful place with a lot of space outdoor. You can get inspired only by walking in there. The hosts made me feel like home. Caroline did my makeup to a high standard. Andrew was easy to work with, and I loved listening to his funny jokes.

I really hope to get the opportunity to work at Wolfe Cottage Studio in the near future.

Yesterday, I was luck enough to have my first shoot a Wolfe Cottage Studios. The studio was very well appointed with lots of space backdrops sets and lighting (Stobes and Static). Their highly skilled floor manager was constantly on hand to offer great advice and assistance with lighting (and frendily banter along the way).

One really nice touch was the appearance of the CEO(The floor managers wife)who not only furnished us with oodles of tea & coffee throughout the shoot but as a professional make up artist left us all with very little retouching on the great images we were able to attain during the shoot.

All joking aside, Wolfe Cottage is one of the most professional, friendly and well run studios I have come across in my 30 year photographic career. Premises do not make great studios - People do! So On this basis, I have no hesitation in recommending Wolfe Cottage to any tog looking for a great studio space and working environment.
