OMG! I have 1 negative strike. Late cancellation? I was guaranteeing the model her fee, but a fee with no model release info? Note I was left a negative ref on 17.10.2019 by a model I was set to work with this Sat 19th Oct 2019. This is unfair. I made it clear to the model I was to work with, to provide me with all info for the model release. I sent her several messages stressing the urgency. I told her that I cannot pay her without the info in full needed for the model release form. She did not even give me her contact number so I have no option to contact her if she don't turn up. I simply do not operate like this with models who do not want to communicate properly and provide the info required, so had no option but to cancel 2 days before the shoot. I hope this model can see the way she has behaved, learn from it, be more professional with her communications to the photographer. I have contacted admin about this. Unlucky me again. I am left with a negative strike when I am a positive person. All models wishing to work with me, must provide 2 weeks latest before the shoot all the info I ask for including the model release form or I will cancel. The 2 weeks cancellation will avoid me getting caught in any model's spider web of unfair negative references. I have learned that there is no way out of the spider web trap. I hope this info helps other photographers and models alike. Update 28.10.2019. I have found out that this same model had issues with another photographer and are not on speaking terms. She definitely has serious issues. Issues or not, we should all try and work together peacefully. I really care about the welfare of the models I work with, but also care about my sanity.
I'm Tony, a London based Photographer/Videographer who has a passion for shooting Videos and Photos of the female form.
My passion is shooting the Female Figure, clothed, lingerie and nude. I also shoot some Playboy style, adult video & Photos (a bit more explicit than nude, but will not ask any model who does not do that type of posing to do so. I fully respect all the models I shoot with and their boundaries of posing. I consider this a important factor when working with any model, and I also hope anyone who reads my profile understands this. When I contact a model for a shoot inquiry, I have read her profile beforehand. My Objective is to Shoot videos & photographs of a model in the most artistic & creative way. I also want to show (what ever model I work with), in the best light so it boosts hers & my popularity through quality work. I welcome constructive criticism on my work, because this is a good way for me to progress by hearing others point of view. I am very professional in attitude and very considerate. I have been shooting video for 9 years now and photography for 31 years. The most important thing for me during any shoot with a model is for them to feel relaxed, safe and comfortable working with me. frequent communication and honesty is so important between myself and any model for planning a shoot properly. I may need photos of a model's shooting location, if it is a home shoot or studio (To work out it's suitability for my project) and also send the model example photos of my project Ideas. Please note that I do not work with any chaperones at all on any of my shoots due to bad experiences with them, which affected the quality of the shoot via distractions and also attempted theft of my camera gear. Please note most of my work is published work.

THE NEW YORK CITY SHOOT
There's nothing wrong with a model turning down a photographer/videographer for a shoot. After all a model and photographer has to feel comfortable with one another. I would certainly not want to work with a model who was uncomfortable working with me. This would show in the quality of the images or video. I'm never offended if a model does not want to work with me or reply to my message, unless it's a existing, booked shoot which has been confirmed with the model. I require proper communication and professional conduct from any model I am to work with. If no required model release info is given to me by 2 weeks before a shoot (booked from a earlier date, before the 2 weeks deadline) I will cancel the shoot without paying the model fee. If the shoot is booked with less than 2 weeks to the shoot, I can request the model release info, and cancel the shoot if I don't get it within 3 days of the request.
