Shot for the first time at Visions the venue yesterday, on the AJ the Model studio day.

Lovely welcome from Terry and Kerry after the short drive from my house. What a lovely space to have available on my doorstep, we only used the studio area and managed to get 5 looks without using all the available spaces. There is still some of the main house to explore on my next visit which will hopefully be quite soon.

Plenty of natural light opportunities but the sun wasn’t playing, so set up a simple one light set up and managed to get some great images of AJ.

This is a great set up making maximum use of the space available, with friendly and accommodating hosts. I’d really recommend this space to photographers in East Anglia and beyond . There is nothing else like it in the area

You could book this studio and spend a whole day and not be stuck for new ideas and places to shoot. Its very well laid out and easy to use either natural light or strobes/LEDs or a combination of. Its been very thoughtfully designed with great interiors and furniture. After your full day working in the studio there are still the other areas both inside and out to use on the property. Its kinda perfect.

What a great space to shoot. Gorgeous lush interiors, with loads of textures and atmosphere. The owners were friendly and very helpful. I attended a studio day with A J The Model and it all went amazingly well. I barely covered a fraction of the areas you can use to shoot in. I was able to shoot natural light and flash in various areas. So shooters of both will be well catered for. I hope that more model studio days are added to there calendar. I for one will be greatly interested in attending more as well as using the space for my own models. My first shoot here, but it definatley won't be my last. Highly recommended, especially for those bored of a white wall studio, with no character.

AJ the Model

WOW. This was definitely one of my easiest studio days. Time literally flew by and we barely used all the sets and the amount of space. It's the type of studio where you could shoot at for hours and still get awesome and unique images.

The owners were super friendly, professional, and always available to help on hand. They also make a very lovely cuppa and kindly provided us some snacks.

The studio itself was just stunning inside out, furniture was very lush and luxurious. The studio was very spacious and there were plenty sets around. It was a pleasure to do a studio day there and hope I can visit there again.

Very highly recommended.

I visited Visions the Venue today for a Studio morning with Amelialili.

The studio has lots of wonderful spaces with large natural light, a selection of moveable furniture, fixed wooden doors that allow for creative spaces, and lots of backdrops including a cobbled wall.

There are lots of creative options in the studio, and countless possibilities, and I felt at ease with my 85mm lens in the space.

The hosts Terry and Kerry are just delightful and friendly - they made me feel welcome and provided refreshments which was a lovely.

Very nice venue and I hope to be back again soon!

Had another great shoot at visions the venue! Hosted a studio morning. Such accommodating hosts in a comfortable, relaxing environment. Lots of refreshments and treated with snacks which is definitely a first for me! Absolutely love the space and the homely atmosphere it brings! Look forward to continuing to shoot here.

Another visit to Visions The Venue. As usual Terry was friendly and helpful. Terry showed myself and Mia Londyn the studio and left us to it. We were able to use the attractive garden as well as various backgrounds in the studio. This included a genuine cobbled wall from an old building, distressed doors, a double bed, furniture and so on. I actually ran out of ideas before location options. Recommended.

My first shoot at Visions, working with Kerry.

The studio is located at the back of the garden and has a lot of sets in a small space. A lot of thought has gone into the set up of the studio, and I certainly think it works.

Terry was on hand to help move stuff around and make the tea!

I like the set up and Terry has a great place to shoot in. I will be back.

Highly recommended.

I offered a pay it forward tutorial and Terry wanted my help. I went to his studio which is at his house but seprate to the house itself so a proper studio. The studio is modertaely sized and Terry has clearly tried to bring as much set variety and oppourtunity to the venue as possible. There are lots of interesteing features including Bed,Chaise,70's Chair and even two rustic doors for infinate shoot possibilites. Couldnt use alll of them but used some for a basic lighting tutorial and I helped with some technical stuff on his equipment. Terry and his beautiful model Kerry were a pleasure to work with and we spend a number of hours playing with light. The studio has massive potential and i gave Terry some hints on what I would have liked which he was keen to recieve. Set up for daylight its breeze to work in and look forward to seing it evolve. Both of them were hospitable and the time flew by.Highly reccommended.

This was my first time at Visions The Venue in Bury-St-Emunds and I was pleasantly surprised at the range of backgrounds and props available. The studio hosts, Kerry and Terry, were very friendly. I was given a tour around the studio and provided with Coffee. The model, Amelialili, and I had fun trying poses in the many areas. It was just a shame that the sun was not shining as there was an outdoor venue available too. Recommended and I will definitely be going back to the studio. Thanks guys.

I had a shoot at this studio yesterday for the first time, it’s such a lovely space backed onto their beautiful farm house and although not a large space they have utilised it so well giving you many areas to work with and to get creative. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, welcoming and so accommodating. I will definitely come back again.
