Sigh. Vincent is one of those hidden gems whom you desperately hope will recognize the extent of his own talent some day - if he wants to!
In his home, he can shoot anything that looks high production, using either studio lights or natural light. He wastes no time at all tinkering with settings and gets the shot exactly perfect in terms of exposure, angles, framing. He had a mood board which we used to build some specific shots, and he also let me free flow for a good portion of the shoot. At the end, he was willing to shoot some ideas of mine, but I was too tired - I hope in the future he will be willing to work with me again, now that we have gotten an introduction out of the way. It was a wonderfully positive experience.
