I had the most amazing shoot with Ceri today in Cardiff!

I have looked forward to working with Ceri for yonks and was pretty nervous as I am a fan of his work but he is the loveliest genuine man and made me feel really relaxed and comfortable.

When Ceri initially messaged me a few days ago he requested wet hair and no makeup, I was a little apprehensive as I rarely go completely natural but Ceri knew exactly what he was talking about and I was astounded with the results.

Ceri is amazing, gives encouragement and tips throughout the shoot, helps with angles and lights and was willing to show me the back of the camera throughout the shoot.

We used my apartment and location for the shoot and Ceri was a gem showing me some awesome urbex buildings.

A creative genius and a really lovely guy who can put up with my incessant chattering, we have already discussed a follow up shoot and I can't wait to work with you again Mr Vale xxx

An awesome shoot once again with this Welsh bundle of talent :-D

We arranged a duo-duo shoot (I guess you could say?) with myself and TJ as models, and Ceri and Angel Illustrations as photographers.

Originally we had thought about a castle, but Ceri took us off the beaten track to a whole wood carpeted with bluebells - so peaceful!

This was my first shoot since shaving my head, and understandably I was nervous, but Ceri made me feel very at ease. We got lots of very relaxed images that are so different from my usual style, and I'm so glad I did the shoot.

TJ was also awesome, as always!

I have already arranged another shoot with the group in the summer, and cannot wait.

Highly recommended!

I had admired Ceri's location nudes for a while so I was thrilled to get the chance to work with him whilst on tour in Wales. He was instantly likeable and so espy to spend time with. We started off with some coastal work, deciding to brave the general public and go for it, I'm so pleased we did, we got some amazing shots. I felt like we worked so well together, easily sharing ideas and shooting fluidly.

We tried a few different seta and locations, spent a lovely creative day together in a beautiful part of the country.

Our coastal set was published in NIF magazine and this was just the icing on the cake after a great experience of shooting with Ceri, I would highly recommend this lovely photographer to anyone 😊

I had the truly magnificent pleasure of finally just meeting the lovely Ceri and then (yay!) getting to shoot with him. Last Wednesday I finished a shoot and got on a train for the long journey down to Caerphilly, as this was half a getaway holiday and my first time in Wales I was NOT in any way confident with the lay out or where was where, but in my pre comms with Ceri anything I needed sorting was no trouble for him.

He picked me up late on Wednesday evening to take me to my hotel, and he even bought me dinner, from the second I met him it was like I had known Ceri for years, and I think everyone who has worked or met Ceri knows what I mean and feels the same way. After chatting and getting ideas together for our shoot the next morning he dropped me off at the hotel (which was stunning and not far from him also!).

I warn you ladies dear ole Ceri here will have you up at the crack of dawn to shoot, so no late night admin the night before, trust me it's well beyond worth it for his locations though! He arrived with a big smile, hug and ready to shoot, we chatted all the way to the waterfalls locations, and what a view it was! I've never seen such a beautiful location, clear water, soft moss, and pretty rocks. He came well prepared with hot pockets to warm my hands and big comfy coat to keep warm whilst changing locations, despite being over cast the light was perfect and rarely changed so we could crack on and work quickly. Ceri was so patient and relaxed the whole time, and if I showed a glimpse of being cold he made sure I came off set to warm up again.

We worked at two different waterfalls, and we both fell over and laughed at each other while shoot, nothing was too much trouble for us to get those perfect shots, and we sure did!

After the shoot was over, and we were both wet through but very happy with ourselves, we headed back to the car and in to town for much deserved lunch.

I truly cannot say how much I enjoyed our shoot and time together, Ceri is so a lovely and down to earth person, and he's mental, I don't think there was one subject we didn't talk about, five minutes couldn't go by without giggling about something or another.

If you haven't, then you must shoot with him, it will be one of the best shoot experiences you will have!

This week I finally got to shoot with Ceri, having met him many times socially. I had always admired his work, and secretly hoped some of his magic might rub off on me! :-)

Fortunately Ceri also admired my location flash work, and wanted to pick my brains and experiment with this technique. And so, a plan was hatched for a joint shoot to help us both develop out respective techniques in different ways. All we needed was a model!

Fabulous Fabergé joined us for the shoot, and the 3 of us had a very relaxed and entertaining late afternoon and evening shoot, mixing ambient light and flash. We even made some decent images, which is always a bonus!

Ceri has prompt pre-shoot communications, and we all had a great working relationship on the shoot. Hopefully we can arrange another joint 'training shoot' in the future. I found it extremely useful. Many thanks!! :-)

Ceri is amazing! This was my 2nd shoot with him... we both came with some great ideas and Ceri chose fantastic locations which suited the theme of our shoot perfectly. Ceri is an absolute dream to work with... he is very professional, experienced, talented, creative, funny and caring. If you get a chance to shoot with him you certainly will not be disappointed! Very highly recommended! :)

Having the opportunity to shoot with Ceri for my first shoot since moving to Cardiff was incredible. We kept in touch leading up to the day, he was on time and we achieved a lot during the day, while still seeing a lot of the beautiful Welsh scenery. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Although the water was freezing I was determined to help Ceri get the shots he was looking for, and it definitely paid off upon seeing the images. I'd highly recommend Ceri, and I'd definitely work with him again.

the shoot with Ceri is just amazing! he is friendly, well organised and definetely talent. when i saw some photos from this shoot I just so moved. it is better than amazing. It is also a wonderful thing you be commended so many times during the shoot. Ceri is the photographer i will always love to work together and have the confidence to create photos.

What Can I say about Ceri.... well he's great!

Ceri and I have shot on a few occasions and we are very very good friends, I love working with him because he is just super relaxed, super talented and just a great laugh to be with.

On this occasion we shot in an old railway tunnel and the time just flew by, we covered a range of things and as always I am chuffed to bits with the images.

This guy really is very very good, traditionally a natural light photographer he has recently started to use artificial light more and you know what? you'd never know that he's shunned it for years... We were obviously shooting in a very dark location but the lighting is perfect, the shots are razor sharp, the execution of the post processing is superb... what more do you need?

I cannot recommend Ceri enough... He has a great style, and is an amazing guy

Where can I start...!

Knowing Ceri´s amazing skills, admiring and following his work, had wanted to work with him for a loooong whille (since I can remember!)!! And it happened!! Right at the beginning of 2016!! I couldn´t be more excited and glad I got the chance to know him and spend an awesome day shooting indoors at HuNuCru's house (fantastic location!) and on location...trip to the seaside (very cold water)! Well worth it!!! And I would do it again!

Ceri is very easy to work with, great professional, polite, but friendly and funny!! Very helpful and well organised! The thing I most loved....his enthusiasm and energy!!! It keeps you motivated through the day!

I wish we had more time to shoot, or let´s say, I wish the day had more day light as more ideas could have been put in practice!! But I am extremely happy with how everything went on the day and the images.....wow wow wow to his work! Olé!! And days will start getting looonger... :)

Can´t wait to shoot with you again! Sooooo looking forward to it!!

2 years after Ceri was the first photographer to shoot me, we finally shot together again. I was determined to make him proud of what he had started with me and the results were more that he made me proud as the images are just beautiful. He knew what he wanted to achieve, what would bring out the best in me as he had followed me closely to see how I have progressed, this resulted in the images telling a story of how far I have come. I even managed to have a photography lesson and take a few shots of the man himself.

The work of Ceri Vale leave little to say but amazing, inspirational and unique. Thank you for letting me be part of it again.

Ceri, Ceri, Ceri, where do I start!... I had wanted to work with Ceri for yonks!... And I think he had also, finally after many messages throughout a good few months we managed to get a rough plan together for my Wales tour. Ceri's communication was perfect and we managed to get something set up!....

He was awesome from the first few seconds I met him!... I felt like I'd known him for ages!... He was friendly, relaxed, chatty and we were already giggling, especially after the spider incident in the car! :)

The location was absolutely stunning! And we both put our heads together and came up with som super amazing imagery both indoor and outdoor!... Ceri was fantastic to work with respectful.... creative... fun!... Such a genuinely lovely person to spend time with!.... And boy did we get some beautiful shots!...

One being now an all time favourite image of mine!.... Shot after shot just worked!... Ceri is a fantastic photographer, works the light, setting and composition perfectly!...

I would 1000000% recommend Ceri to anyone!...

A fabulously skilled photographer and awesome person to be around!... And I can't wait to work with him again!

Ceri was just AMAZING to work with! Relaxed, friendly, funny, enthusiastic, full of energy, passionate, creative.....the list goes on!! He makes you feel a million dollars and is so easy to work with! One of those rare people who's passion shows massively and it makes you feel very confident and positive! I loved what we shot and Ceri's fun creativity. Ceri is one of the easiest people i've ever worked with, he makes you feel as you should do to do your best work. Energy and communication are so important and this man is just the dogs bollocks at it, and it shows in his images :D

I had a super morning out on location with Ceri last week during my South Wales tour.

He took me to a stunning coast line and got me completely covered in sea water and then, moments later dunked me squishy mud and theeeen in the freezing cold river..! ;) but truthfully..? It was all worth it for the super images we got and fun we had :) Yay!

Loving the images so far and can't wait to see more. So pleased with what we got and it was great to catch up with Ceri too. A brilliant shoot!

I loved working with Ceri, he's definitely my kind of person. He's fun, friendly and full of ideas. There's great communication regarding themes and clothing and even about levels so I knew exactly what to expect. I felt very relaxed. My only complaint is that he lives so damn far away that I can't pester him into more shoots 😢 but I would work with Ceri in a heartbeat. If you get the opportunity then I would definitely recommend working with.

Yet another shoot with Mr Vale and they just keep getting better and better each time. I adore working with Ceri because I know that we are going to always have a good time and most of all that we will create amazing images.

I had an amazing shoot yesterday in Cardiff with this lovely photographer ! We had a few hours location shoot in a great derelict place where need to say I enjoyed everything about it !!

Ceri is very considerate and has a wicked sense of humour . Guaranteed a bundle of giggles and laughter while working with him, but he is professional at all times ..

We have shot a variety of styles in a short time I would say , and every single set was full of creativity from both sides .. He came up with brilliant ideas and I believe we made a great team on the day !! From storytelling images to lingerie , all the sets covered in different buildings of the place were just delightful every second !!

I certainly highly recommend him and would love to work together again . Thank you Ceri , I enjoyed every minute !! :) Mona x

Had an absolutely fantastic shoot with Ceri today. We visited a variety of lovely locations, not least skidding to a halt when we saw a wonderful image-oportunity in the mist as we were driving between them. I think doing that pretty much sums up the day...and what working with Ceri is like...creative, spontaneous, fun, laid-back and just full of humour and great ideas. Ceri is so easy to work with, a genuine, lovely person and a bloody fantastic photographer.

Ceri is all the things you would hope for when creating images - considerate, communicative, enthusiastic and brilliant with direction. Already seen two images and love them so much. Needless to say I totally recommend working with him if you get the chance, and I will be looking forward to planning more shoots with him. Thank you Ceri, it's been a brilliant day. :D
