References for Urban Fire

Mike reminded me of why I love modelling. Despite the disastrous weather, we created a tonne of magic. It's a rare occassion when I truly feel like a team has fully co-created, and I feel we achieved this. It was amazing to have full collaborative discussions on how we were going to create our stories and imagery, which felt effortless due to our similar levels of creative thinking and very similar mindframes imo. Mike taught me a tonne about the technical side of lighting and was very easy to get along with. He even laughed at my ridiculous jokes which is always nice. I felt I got a lot more out of the shoot than rates and practice. It's days like these that the industry should be built upon. Passionate artistic creative outlet.

Recommended highly, will shoot again if possible :)

I've just had a lovely shoot with Mike this morning, he showed up to work with me at my home bang on time with loads of equipment was very relaxed. He clearly explained his ideas for the shoot, as we worked he gave great direction and frequently showed me the images so I know what was happening and made sure I was happy. He also liked hearing my ideas and was very open to trying them which was great. Overall I'd say Mike is a lovely, polite, respectful and professional fella to work with. Im recommend him to anyone.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. I'm a very shy and nervous person but he put me at ease straight away and had me laughing through the rest of the shoot. He was clear at giving directions and up for trying new things. Looking forward to shooting with you again 😊

Had my first shoot with Urban Fire this evening and it went pretty well! Although the location was freezing, he kept upbeat and professional and also showed that he cared how cold I got. He was lovely to work with and would happily work with him again.

I think we managed to get some pretty dramatic images and can't wait to see the final shots! Many thanks to Jas for being the lighting lady too!

I wanted to do an Autumn themed fashion shoot for my portfolio and I had no hesitation in going strait to Mike for this shoot! I never once considered anyone else because the first time we shot together we got on so well, had lots of laughter and createe great images.....

Well this time was no exception, however not only did we have a great shoot and not only was Mike just as easy to work with/ get on with.... but the images we created together were magic! He truly is the definition of a great photographer. He is highly skilled behind the camera, he let's me do my thing with minimal guidance and has a great eye for details! His minimal guidance is a positive because it means we create natural images that do not look forced, I pose, he finds the best light and angle, then magic is created!

I could not regard Mike any higher ir recommend him anymore than I already do he is an amazing photographer but more importantly an amazing person!

If you haven't shit with Mike then you don't know what your missing!

I had the absolute pleasure of having Mike in the studio for the first time on Saturday and I have to say, it was brilliant! Mike turned up on time and raring to go, with a fun, polite and friendly attitude. He had some great equipment that he brought with him and he knew exactly how to use it. He also knew how to pack up after him too, which was absolutely lovely to walk in and find! Much appreciated!

The model that he had booked was absolutely lovely and so was her model chaperone friend. They are three, lovely, polite, people, that are definitely welcome back any time! The resident studio dog, Marley, liked them all too.

I highly recommend working with Mike if you get the chance!

I met Mike on one of Keiths group shoots at the Chatham Dockyards & really enjoyed it. He came over & introduced himself as soon as I got there so instantly I felt comfortable. We worked through quite a few sets & the time flew by. Mike was very professional, patient & gave me direction when needed. Seen a couple of pics & im really pleased so far, so looking forward to seeing some more & hope to work with him again soon.

Mike is one of the most easy going people I have ever met. I had such a wonderful shoot and felt instantly at ease with him. The location and shoot were both last minute but it didn't phase Mike at all. He was laid back but professional and considering it was a shoot in a creepy derelict asylum we laughed the whole time. I would 100% work with Mike again and again he is a great photographer but also a great person. I look forward to shooting with him again soon!!

I cannot express how much of a pleasure it is to work with Mike. He is fantastic photographer, and one of the nicest people I have had the good fortune to meet. He gives good direction when he feels it is needed, but also gives me the freedom to try out my own ideas (which I believe really contributes to a stunning final product). I'm completely comfortable being around Mike, which is of course essential when trying to create a great photograph, and trust him entirely. And Mike's professionalism and reliability extends long after the shoot, too: not only does he get on to the editing nice and quickly, he graciously accepts feedback and will change any edits in a heartbeat - with Mike, all you need to do is ask! I hold Mike in the very highest esteem and , needless to say, recommend him to any model. You need to book a shoot with Mike if you haven't already!

2nd shoot with Urban Fire now, and it's always lovely! Mike is such a lovely man! We did a cosplay photoshoot, and he even gave me a Harley Quinn hammer for my future cosplays! This defiantly will not be the last shoot with him! He braved the rain, and our 2 hour location find, but we got some very scatty photos!

I worked with Mike on a shoot last week and I couldn't be happier with the results. He is a lovely man, very laid back and full of brilliant and creative ideas. We shot in the river, which was great fun and we didn't stop talking from the moment he picked me up from my home to when he dropped me back home when the shoot ended. Right from the moment we first messaged each other I knew that we would get on and have a great time getting some fantastic images.
