I can't speak more highly of working with Urban Fire. His style, attention to detail and willingness to ensure everything is perfect for the shoot is just brilliant. His energy is infectious and never misses the opportunity to have a laugh along the way too. I couldn't recommend working with him enough. Highly recommended! :)

Gosh where do I begin? I actually owe Urban Fire 2 references as we have done two shoots almost back to back.

I first shot with UF in the spring and I loved his photos so much I knew I'd want to work with him again. He is one of those photographers who doesn't realise how good he is, and he is awesome. Lovely and friendly guy with a cracking sense of humour. A real rockstar behind the camera. He will painstakingly commit himself to the shoot. Even one of my mad ones. This guy has stood in a lake with me all day in the middle of Octorber and even after dark to get the photos I asked him to get, never complained, not once. He really gets on board with your ideas and goes above and beyond to help you bring your visions to life.

I am delighted with photos he took, he really cares about the end result and put so much time into each composition, lighting, focus, feel, angle and then into the post work. Definitely one of my favourite photographers.

I had my first shoot with Urban Fire and lovely model Lucifera last Friday and it was amazing.

Communication before the shoot was brilliant and he was kind enough to collect me from and drop me back at the train station after the shoot, with a quick detour to make sure i had food for the journey home too.

The whole vibe of the shoot was really creative, energy was fantastic and all three of us had some good laughs through the day.

Received the shots in a nice organised dropbox folder soon after the shoot too.

Couldn't recommend Urban Fire enough.

I had an amazing first shoot with mike today he was on time and ready to shoot hes ideas were great i had so much fun on the shoot hes chatty and made me feel very comfortable i got on really well with him,

Hes direction is great i would love to work with him again

We got some shots we were both pleased with, im looking forward to seeing the results :-)

I would highly recommend any model who gets the chance to work with mike and hope to work together again in the future

I had a great group shoot a few weeks ago at Toad Rocks with Urban Fire. He was very friendly and professional as were the other togs and the day was really enjoyable.

I had my first TFP shoot with Urban Fire the other day, and I couldn't be more pleased with how it went! Mike is lovely, talkative and always has ideas in his head about the kind of image he wants to create- resulting in some beautiful photos! Even as a new model, he was very patient with me and directed me where I needed a little bit of help. Any shyness definitely went away after a few minutes shooting with him! He responds quickly to messages and when editing photos, he kept me in the loop and was more than happy to fix up any make-up mishaps. I would strongly recommend Mike to any model experienced or starting out- you'll be glad you shot with him!

I worked with Mike Saturday at London tower bridge at a Photograohy workshop shoot

Mike was very easy to work with an get on with a really genuine and lovely guy it was an absolute pleasure working with him and he works well in a team there were no usual problems of working with group photographers we all worked very well together to create new ideas utilising the surrounding we had and the onlooking crowd on a busy Saturday and managed to create some amazing shots

I can't wait to work with Mike again and see what we come up with next..

I would highly recommend Mike as a photographer and see great potential in his progression as a photographer he has a great passion and creates some great work as you can see from his portfolio need I say anymore

Artemis Fauna

I recently worked with Mike when I modeled at a lighting workshop held by Mike Croshaw at Scarlet door.

This wasn't a 1-2-1 shoot but Mike was great to work with during the shoot and chat to in the breaks. The day went by far too quickly but I can't waiiiit to see the results go up!!

I really hope I can work with Mike again one day. Thank you, Mike- hope to see you again soon! :)

Mike attended my lighting workshop today. Being a Mike, I knew he would be cool, and I was not wrong. Mike was an asset to the day, he really got on well with the other people on the course and was polite and courteous to the model we had along for the day ( the awesome Artemis Fauna ). Mike has a very deep knowledge of photoshop, and taught me a few things on the day, and he is also a committed and skilled photographer. It was great meeting him and I'd thoroughly recommend any model to work with him.

Mike is such a pleasure to work with! I haven't had a photo shoot for 2 years and when I decided to give it another shot I couldn't think of anyone better to kick it off again for me. The afternoon was completely filled with laughs and pure professionalism and great idea's, I am very much looking forward to seeing some amazing images. I only met him once before around about two years ago and when seeing him again it was almost like meeting up with an old friend, I felt 100% comfortable with him and the conversation was continuously flowing with some giggles thrown in. I definitely highly recommend Mike. Thank you so much for a fantastic afternoon/evening I very much enjoyed it :) xxx

Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with! Pre shoot comms were great and before we started shooting he had planned out some ideas and had some images to show me for inspiration. Which was very refreshing, as usually photographers aren't that organised! Mike was friendly, chatty and had me laughing throughout the shoot. He is a real perfectionist when it comes to his images, which is always a sign of a great photographer. Very creative ideas, very knowledgable and a lovely person to be around. Would recommend to anyone without a doubt and would love to work with him again!

Had a shoot with Urban Fire after he responded to my casting call. I had been wanting to shoot some blue bells and some rape seed photos ( I know abit cliche but I like my blooms ) he went to above and beyond to find me the locations, even driving out of his way to get the perfect locations. Thankfully it paid off as the photos are wonderful, I couldn't be happier!!!

I found him to be very easy going, friendly and respectful, I felt totally safe. While we travelled to locations we chatted and laughed loads. He gave great direction where needed and totally got the style of photos I was after, spot on.

I would absolutely recommend booking a shoot with this chap 😊

Shooting with Mike was so much fun! excellent to work with and has a fantastic personality. I was lucky enough to have him apply for an incredibly last minute casting call and I am so glad he did! communication was on point throughout which allowed me plenty of time to organize. He arrived on time (which is embarrassing as I didn't, oops) and he had a good idea of what he wanted to shoot. The evening was productive and we managed to work through a vast number of themes. Mike provided helpful direction and also posses great knowledge of aesthetics and professional lighting which allowed our ideas to come to life. Incredibly pleased with the results so far and highly recommend! hope to work with you again soon!

Last weekend I shot with Mike at a lighting workshop. He's a really friendly and respectful photographer and easy to get along with. Mike came along to my lighting and photoshop workshop yesterday in Brighton. His outgoing personality really helped make the workshop a fun and easygoing environment. He's got a great eye for composition, producing some excellent pictures and was patient, listening to everything I was teaching. His direction with the model was great, feeding back to her what was working and what wasn't and Alice had a great rapport with him which felt like a true artistic collaboration. I highly recommend you work with him as you're guaranteed a fun and highly creative shoot.
