My first ever ISO2500 portrait of Bruv (or anyone, for that matter.)
I think that because I started with film and had crop sensor cameras until relatively recently (I got my first FF DSLR D700 in 2017) I've always seen ISO800 as extremely high and something to be avoided. From the D700 I moved to the D3X which has very poor high ISO. I didn't care too much as most of my shooting was studio portraits with strobes & soft boxes. I've just bought a bargain D3 and discovered the joys of natural light and high ISO settings. :-)
