The dream version:
As I breathed in the thick, heady perfume of the enchanted flowers, I fell immediately into a deep sleep and dreamed a dream of extreme slow motion. The enchanted flowers watched, and swayed very gently back & forth, in languid currents of thick, syrupy liquid air.
Friendly waitresses I met in the café next to South Ease railway station (near Newhaven) on The South Downs Way.
