References for Studio 52

I worked with James Ryder on a 'James Bond' themed DUO at Studio 52 with Jonathan Tennant.

James and Jonathan are extremely professional.We had exellent detailed pre-comms at least 1 week in advance keeping up to date with travel arrangements, food reqs etc, and then we had a great variation of our own wardrobe costumes. Great lighting and a host of props and we shot both outside and indoors. It was a fun experience and I can't wait to see the images. Fantastic!

My first shoot at Studio 52 and I was very impressed by the size and variety of spaces available. It was a typically grey December day, but even with the lack of promising light, there was still plenty to shoot outside that was of interest. The Thames was higher than usual and the water itself provides many interesting ideas!

The main studio space itself (there were others as well) was well-equipped and had everything needed for the two-hour shoot. Jonathan is a wonderful host and very knowledgeable. All in all highly recommended!

My second shoot here and another good experience. Jonathan is super helpful & makes a decent coffee! It's a great space - perfect for my plans this time to shoot my classic Lotus and my fabulous model in his cobbled driveway with lovely iron gates behind - and we lucked out with the weather and sunshine to grab the last of some great autumn colours in the backdrop & natural light. And then a second set inside the studio where he'd thoughtfully had the heating running before we arrived and where the backdrops and lighting options were perfect for what I needed. I highly recommend this gem of studio - the flexibility is immense.

Had my first shoot at Studio 52 last night, Wow, what an awesome place, it’s like an Aladdin’s cave for any photographer. It has so many different areas that you can shoot in you’d need more than a day to shoot in them all, plus most of them are not overlooked. Jon is also very welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. I just wished I had started earlier and could have stayed longer, a truly great place to shoot.

Would I recommend Studio 52 – Absolutely!

Had my first shoot at Studio52 yesterday and was really impressed with the amount of unique areas the studio has to offer! So many different looks you can create in one space, it's really quite something. The studio is situated on the river offering really pretty views, along with multiple indoor spaces to shoot in. Jon was very welcoming and accommodating too, really lovely guy! Would highly recommend hiring this studio :)

Jon was really helpful arranging the hire at the last minute - literally 11pm the night before. And what a great place. So many options, indoor (with lights & modifiers) and outdoors, especially by the river. Very private, not overlooked, making my model very comfortable, and just a great backdrop to shooting. Highly recommended - look forward to my next shoot here.

I had my first shoot at Studio 52. Jonathan was happy to show me around a few days before the shoot which was really helpful as it highlighted some technical issues that we managed to sort together on the morning of the shoot. At the start of the shoot he helped set us up and was then happy to leave us to get on with it. The main studio has plenty of options and equipment, and there are also loads of natural light and outdoor options that I look forward to using in the future.

Studio 52 is situated in a great location with lots of great areas to shoot in, Including the studio, The outdoor space is awesome, Situated on the river with great outdoor space.

The studio is well equipped and Johnathen is extremely helpful throughout the shoot.

Really lovely spot with endless options for outdoor shoots and two good sized spaces for indoor. Easy to dress up or dress down for a specific style. Jonathan is an easy going host which makes it even more of an appealing place to shoot. If you like rural and boho with the option of a classic studio set up then Studio 52 is for you ! Recommend!

I used Jon's studio for a 1920s/30s themed duo shoot.

The outbuilding and surrounding land revised plenty of options of shoot ideas.

The location is spacious and rivage enough for the most disconcerting of shoots.

There are plenty of natural light areas with spacious outdoor spaces to shoot which includes a backdrop to an offshoot of the river Thames.

Jon is a most gracious host.

You really need to check this location out and the opportunities it presents for the most creative of shoots

I had the great pleasure of shooting for the first time at Studio 52 recently. It really is an amazing place both in terms of its rural and riverside location but also the variety of settings available both indoors and outside. The 3 studios are spacious, well equipped with lights, props etc. and lend themselves to a wide variety of photographic styles. The riverside location is fantastic and offers so many opportunities.

This studio is such a gem and I would highly recommend it to both models and photographers who have the opportunity to work there. Superb!! I look forward to working there again with the amazing Jon Tennant as soon as possible.

What an awesome Studio this is, Just got home from a shoot at Studio 52 and already can’t wait to go back.

The studio is spacious, Well equipped with lights props etc.

With also a studio over looking the river, It really is a beautiful location.

So many options, Thank you Johnathen for a great shoot today and topping me up with a warm tea when I arrived.

Studio 52 was warmed really nicely when I arrived. The Studio is very well equipped with just about everything you could want on a shoot. There is a screen for changing and Jonathan was very respectful. The Studio was set up with Photography in mind. With different feature walls and backdrops. There is also a good selection of props.

I've just shot with the amazing Jonathan Tennant at Studio 52 and I would highly recommend him as a photographer and his studio. We came up with the concept of a nature inspired photoshoot for which he has beautiful countryside and water suitable for outdoor images, as well as a well equipped studio with a variety of textured natural brick wall, white brick and multiple backdrops, furniture and props. Jonathan is very friendly, professional and creative, capturing the most inspiring and fantastic shots that I am proud to display in my professional portfolio. I can't wait to shoot with you again soon x

Had a photoshoot at studio 52 recently and really enjoyed it.. lots of space for different back drops and props..there was even a heater to keep me warm during the lingerie shoot! Defo recommend.. it’s cosy/ comfy and made me feel at ease 😊

I had a techy session with Jon to get to know more about studio lighting. Jon is extremely knowledgeable and a very patient teacher. Two hours just flew by and I got all I was hoping for and more besides. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to improve their knowledge on the tech side of photography.
