James Ryder

I am a professional model based in West Sussex, working part time and have been lucky enough to be involved in a variety of exciting modelling assignments in both the UK and overseas during my modelling career. I am an agency represented model and have worked for a wide range of professional photographers engaged on commercial work for various well-known brands in the motor cycle industry, the equestrian industry and cosmetics and have been featured in such magazines as Horse and Hound, Motorcycle News as well as promotional literature. I have also worked for private individuals and artists creating collections for public exhibitions or for their own personal enjoyment.

I see my role as a model as being to help the photographer realise their creativity so am happy to take direction and also contribute ideas as well if required. I am by nature very easy going and have a good sense of humour. I can get on with most people and have the ability to quickly recognise what a photographer wants to achieve. However, despite being easy going, I am very disciplined about arriving punctually for sessions and for communicating with potential clients.

I have a range of clothes (lifestyle, cosplay and erotic/bondage) and various period costumes (Georgian, Edwardian, Victorian) that I can use in a photo shoot. I also have a sports motor cycle that can be available if required. I am a competent horse rider and concert standard pianist.

You will see duo images on my portfolio taken with Johanna, an established PP model. We are happy to discuss joint bookings for Vintage, Film Noir, Period Drama and similar themes. Please contact either myself or Johanna to discuss. Rates will be dependent on what  is required and distance.
