Roos managed to drive all the way from Birmingham (where she had another shoot) to Newcastle for this modelling shoot and was still100% focused and ready for the shoot.

Roos brought loads of outfits and was happy to be directed and give her own input, posing elegantly, I'd happily recommend Roos to anyone else, check out her profile for her awesome MUA.

This lady is skilled, everything from concept to the finished article was flawless, she’s very professional, good fun to be around and with the slightest glance at the back of your camera will make adjustments to the look that will really make things pop, I honestly can’t recommend this lady enough. It was great to meet up with Roos on this event at Crossroads studio. She’s a highly artistic, creative and skilled MUA and stylist and she was on hand hand throughout the day to make minor adjustments whenever they were required. Crossroads Studio

This is the first time I have met Roos. I have to say that she is a lovely young lady and an absolutely amazing makeup artist. Roos was doing the makeup for 2 models on the day. She arrived in plenty of time and worked her magic with what seemed little effort but I am in no doubt that it took planning, imagination and lots of talent to produce the looks she did. Roos worked meticulously through the 6 hour shoot changing looks and keeping the makeup fresh and bright.

Roos is moving in to modelling as well as makeup and I have no doubts that she will be just as terrific at modelling as she is as a MUA.

I have already got my name down to shoot with her, and I also can’t wait for her to return armed with brushes, and everything else that was in her magical bag!!

I can’t recommend Roos highly enough.

I recently had the pleasure of teaming up with Roos again for a creative fetish fashion event at Crossroads Studio in Keighley alongside Marie-Jean Taylor.

Roos is certainly an artist and detail oriented! They have great time management abilities and still create work to the same high standard under pressure!

Throughout the day's shooting they were checking makeup to ensure we remained fresh faced and photogenic!!

I have worked with Roos numerous times now and cannot think of another North East based MUA who compares to them!

she is a very profession and very talented make up artist and it was inspirational to see a make up artist at work. Roosjames not only worked on the make up but also the styling for the Fetish Fashion shoot as well.

I cant speak highly enough of her and will most certainly love to work with her again.

What can I say, this girl is a dream to work with! Pre shoot comms absolutely excellent, make up concepts were spot on for the look and executed perfectly.

Well! What can I say that hasn't allready been said in one of my many previous references!?!

Myself and Roos have join forces on many of photoshoots in the last year. This week, working on a cyber / Fetish fashion look, providing styling as well as makeup artistry!

Within the last year we have explored a variety of styles and conceptual looks! Each time Roos was well prepared, detail orientated and professional, being delicate and respectful as well as producing a truly stunning outcome!

After Roos and I knowing each other a little over social media for the past couple of months it was awesome to finally get to meet and work with her, she is honestly the most down to earth and chilled girl you could hope to meet! Making jokes and having a laugh within the first 5 mins of meeting her!

As this was a project for Roos's studies, she took control and gave great direction, the amount of hard work that had gone into preparation before our shoot commenced was unreal, its great to work with someone so dedicated to what they do because as a model this is really influenced me to up my game to match this! To make sure she got the best interpretation of the makeup she'd created.

Cant wait to see and work with Roos again, definitely made a good friend. Good luck with the rest of your project doll!

As anyone who follow's either of our portfolio's will know, myself and Roos are far from strangers by this point! In less than a year of knowing each other we have worked together on a variety of creative collaborations and paid jobs together... I can only assume we must be doing something right !?!...

During this week's visit to Birmingham, my first shoot was extra special as it would contribute towards Roos's own personal & academic project. Therefor I got to witness Roos control all creative aspects of the shoot and their styling abilities.

As always, their exquisite execution skills were displayed within their makeup work and they have a very strong self belief and style that sets them apart form many others!

Furthermore, the following day we both worked together again, but this time on an alternative high fashion shoot for Gore Couture where Roos was hired as the MUA. Even when working on someone else's project -as always- they gave the same high standard of work; balancing their strong work ethic and politely gentle nature.

Expect nothing less than a purely professional artist at work when booking Roos!

I've worked with some of the top MUA in the country and I had admired Roo's work on instagram for a while. A collaboration brought about by Talli Lyndsey and myself to my delight recruited Roo as one of 2 MUA working with Talli and another model (MimisitaShka). What a team of talent! We had regular on line chats as concepts were discussed and developed. Roo had plenty of relevant and creative input during these, and gave much needed guidance as to the order of looks to help plan the shooting. She was also open to everyone's in puts. I always regard the MUA as the top of the pyrimid of creative talent on shoots and Roo certainly earned this. We all worked well as a team. Roo even posed for me between costume changes for a composite I'm working on. Absolutely delighted with the outcome and indeed the whole process. Very highly recommended. And will be my first choice of MUA on future shoots.

It was an honour to have Roos James apply not one, but two beautiful makeup looks on me for a shoot at Kis Studios yesterday.

Though working to a limited timescale they were still able to produce to an exquisite creative standard, while remaining delicate and considerate of my well being during the makeup application process.

Futhermore, Roos was generous enough to go above and beyond by assisting me with styling and dressing, as well as aiding with the presentation on set.

A highly professional individual with a keen eye for detail- More so, endowed with an evolving creative vision- I have been consistantly impressed and enjoyed the various projects we have been involved in together so far.

All this taken into consideration, I can wholeheartedly state that they are most certainly a MUST to follow and to work with!

You will not regret it !
