I had my 1st shoot at The Mad House on the weekend and it was like stepping into the tardis! Normal house on the outside, epic studio on the inside! Every room was filled with outfits, accessories & props, you name it and they had it!

Kev was brilliant fun, and a super host. He created a really welcoming, friendly atmosphere, made some brilliant suggestions for lighting effects that looked amazing and let me use anything there that I fancied.

Any look or theme you'd want to create could be done there without you needing to bring a thing with you! I would 100% recommend this as a studio.

The BEST weekend of shooting! I can’t put into words how much fun I had. Kev was absolutely wonderful! His hospitality is amazing and he just has such a big heart of gold! Can’t rave enough about how fun TheMadHouse was! Already planning for future shoots there! If you haven’t been to TheMadHouse yet you MUST! Such a fun studio to work in. Not to mention the selection of outfits you can choose from! Was so amazing to try new styles and kevs awesome collection of stuff allowed me to do just that! Definitely loved my little buddy Elvis the cat too! So impressed with the images that I have come away with. Was shot by some wonderful photographers! Everyone was so kind and professional! Not to mention TALENTED! Can’t wait to stay at TheMadHouse again soon! Kev is truly one in a million! Highly recommend!! Couldn’t do enough for you! X

My first ever time in Wales and my first time shooting at The Mad House :D Kev is super friendly, chatty, has a brilliant sense of humour, was very hospitable and made me feel totally relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire weekend. His home studio is insane with the most enormous collection of clothing, shoes, props, wigs, backdrops etc! I’ve never seen anything quite like it before! The photographers he had booked to work with me were all very lovely too and the majority of them were close friends of Kev’s and it was lovely to meet them and work with them. Despite having so much stuff, his home studio is incredibly organised and clean and the bed was very comfy! He provided me with fresh towels, his snack drawers in the fridge (a healthy and an unhealthy side which I made full use of) and topped me up with cups of tea throughout the day and he made me feel right at home. A highly productive weekend was had with tonnes of photos taken but it was still relaxed and enjoyable with banter and lots of fun! I highly recommend The Mad House to other models :D Thanks again for having me!

I had my first (pretty much sold out!!) studio weekend at The Madhouse this past weekend and it was a blast!

Kevin is super laid back and helpful, hosted me for the weekend and even let me show him the world of Drag Race after shooting was done lol! He sorted me out lifts from and back to Newport Station as I don't drive and even insisted on sleeping on an airmatress downstairs so I could sleep in a bed.

There's also a very friendly neighbourhood cat called Elvis that I happily fussed during breaks!

Kevin managed all the bookings and helped with backdrops etc when required and let us get on with it throughout the day, as well as being friendly and chatty and making teas and coffees.

The studio has so much to work with, different backdrops and props as well as a huge selection of clothing, shoes and lingerie to shoot in.

I would definitely recommend Kevin and the studio and hope to be back again sometime! :)

Whey! Pleased to have had my first ever visit and studio weekend at Kev's 'Mad house studio'!

I was delighted to be invited down and meet a new bunch of creatives (-may I add with minimal effort from my side,) but also to actually step foot in the 'mad house' which I'd heard so much about. Did it beat my expectations.. most probably yes, however it didn't actually seem that mad. The organisation and cleanliness was top notch. What is mad is that Kevin the sweet, kind hearted man he is has transformed his house and filled it with EVERYTHING anyone could possibly need, endless amounts of back drops, props, outfits, he was on board at all and any time offering tips to the photographer(s), drinks and snacks to all, changing sets, lighting and bedding. Kevin even downloaded the images for one photographer. I stayed at the mad house and Kevin and I stayed up chatting, he cooked me dinner and even gave me a wake up call in the AM and helped me get my flat tyre sorted. From our pre communication and then the minute I met Kevin I knew not only were I in 'safe hands' but he is also one hell of a guy. Loads of laughter and convo. Brilliant images created, it's a no brainer, most certainly recommend. Thank you for having me! 🤩

Oh Kevin Kevin Kevin, where do I start… that crazy mad man in Newport, thank you for sorting a studio day for me even tho it didn’t completely go to plan on the day🤭 I really enjoy coming down, it’s always such a laugh and I’m sad to leave everytime, thank you for not pranking me with mr spider legs again 🤣 I hope to see you again soon!

I've spent amazing two days at Kev's house shooting with few amazing photographers during my trip to Wales

The house is full of props, clothes, and anything you can imagine related to photography

The atmosphere is very relaxed, Kev is very fun person, and we had lots of laugh

Kev is also the best host you can imagine and made me feel very comfortable

I really can't wait to be there again and definitely recommend the studio to other touring models and photographers!

Had such a fun time shooting at The Madhouse, it’s definitely got the right name haha, but Kev is a fab host. Non stop laughter all round, and plenty of cups of tea to keep me going😁

The studio is equipped with everything you could possibly want (camera, lighting, backgrounds are obvious, but also a wardrobe to rival my own with hundreds of items ready for use).

Will definitely be returning again soon :)

A great studio that I have used on many occasions.

You wont find a nicer, more helpful guy than Kev.

Pretty much everything you will need is there at the studio and if by chance he doesn't have it.. I'll pretty much guarantee it will be there the next time.

Well what can i say about the Mad House!! its fun and Kev is the ultimate host - the madhouse is a fantastic place to have a studio day - Everyone is so friendly but especially Kev and you feel so welcome and the day literally flew by. I hope that I can work there again because quite literally its my favorite place to work, its so fun so many laughs had and honestly the hospitality is second to none. Kev is so attentive to photographers and models and its no wonder you get so many regulars!! It comes more then recommended - if you havent worked at the Mad House you really have to.. its the BEST!!!

This Studio weekend ....well what can I say!!

From having communication with kev for quite some time I finally Made it to The Valley!!!

Communication with kev was always lovely and I definitely couldn't wait to go and work here.

Upon arrival kev was there to give a hand (the love)

So My whole weekend at the Madhouse well it was definitely filled with madness Fun And Laughter throughout

Kev is just such a lovely genuine man with endless amounts of laughs

I can honestly say I had the best time here with kev and all other photographers I worked with.

So much laughter just brilliant!

Thankyou so much Kev for such amazing hospitality and generosity upon my visit and making me feel well and truly welcome In the valleys (what a lovely community)

Overall the images have been amazing.

I cannot wait to go back and shoot again.

I even had Wales blues for a couple days

What a marvellous little studio! A fantastic welcome from Kev, The studio is very well equipped with a large selection of backdrops and lighting. Had a wonderful shoot with Victoria Summers and Kev was on hand when needed to assist in changing the backdrops and lighting. a very professional set-up. (the cups of coffee were well appreciated)

This was my first shoot with Kev and it was fantastic! I was in awe of all the clothes and props and the SHOES! That he had at his studio.

He was very lovely and easy to talk to and I never felt nervous. He was very accommodating with drinks and snacks in between outfits and had extremely good banta. During our shoots, we tried many different looks and I loved his enthusiasm that matched my own.

I would definitely work with him again and would love to try on some more outfits!

Madhouse is the correct term for this place. Loved it. Had so much fun on set but was still proffesional. Kevin made me feel very comfortable all day. Forgot how fast the time went and spent all day there. Has so much to offer at the madhouse with clothes and Props you will find endless ways to me great photos. Can't wait to go back again. Good shooting kev!

Seriously I have the best times at this studio. Kev is the best and everyone who comes and shoots me here is so so nice.

With all the backdrops you can imagine along with props, lingerie, outfits and so much more!
