References for the hawk

Sorry for the late reference!

I was fortunate enough to meet The Hawk during a shoot with his partner, Little Wren and having been a fan of his beautiful fantasy works for some years now, I was really chuffed to have him there assisting that day (alongside Mathias Photography).

The Hawk is a lovely gentleman; very friendly, relaxed and with a cracking sense of humour (always essential!). He was kind enough to put up with some of my stranger ideas and even posed for a composite image to use for Little Wren - what a champ! He throws paper aeroplanes like a pro too.

It was great to meet The Hawk and we all had a right laugh throughout the day. Although it was in a non photography capacity, I'd definitely recommend The Hawk happily. :)

I had a shoot with Mike organised by little wren, a model I did a duo shoot with and it was so much fun. Mike is such a welcoming and down to earth guy. He also has endless patience and he has great creative vision with posing and shot setup. Although he tends to do more boudoir images (which are amazing) he was willing to try any of our weird and wacky ideas. He has a great studio set up filled with props and he looks after you with brews and biscuits. He gave me the images on a disc before I left the shoot and he’s already edited a few which are beautiful. I would really recommend Mike. He is a talented photographer and editer. I really felt comfortable with him and would say for anyone wishing to try boudoir who may feel a bit nervous or unconfident go with Mike. Although experienced models would also gain a lot too with breathtaking images for their portfolios. Thanks Mike.

I attended a group photography session at Mike's studio and I couldn't recommend him enough! He has a wonderful setup and was very accommodating, making sure I was warm enough and had enough tea. He is extremely talented and has produced some beautiful images. Thank you for a lovely few hours :)

I had the opportunity to work with Mike today.

He has a superb studio with all the facilities a cosy little changing room for the us models.

Mike is friendly and professional, kept me recafinated and warm.

We had a good little natter in the end and showed me images that were taken earlier on in the day, Some cracking shots there I reckon.

I really enjoyed working with Mike thank you for having me and hopefully we’ll work together again soon.

Ps definitely recommend Mike all day long top notch guy and a brilliant photographer :)

I shot with Mike yesterday and had a fantastic time. He is such a gent. As I don't drive, he picked me up and dropped me back off. Mike put me at ease straight away. We had a good laugh and he showed me the images off the back of the camera as we went along, which, I might add, were gorgeous without any editing. I've recieved a couple of images already and I'm thrilled with them. They are beautiful 😀 He even made me a couple of brews and gave me Jaffa cakes...always a bonus haha!

This was a group shoot formed and I cannot ref omens him and the group enough. They where warm and welcoming, easy to get on with, professional and lovely genuine people!

I would definatly want to work with them again and would encourage anyone in thinking the same.

I have done just two shoots so far and these were both with Mike. I was very nervous on my first shoot however Mike made me feel so welcome and my butterflies soon disappeared.

Both shoots were relaxed and fun and I am now addicted. I could not of worked with a better photographer. Mike showed me every image along the way giving me the chance to improve or adapt if I wasn't happy.

I would highly recommend Mike and can't wait to get back in the studio with him soon.

I love this man! His patience is incredible as is his commitment to a shot. His enthusiasm for the art of photography is infectious. If I could shoot with him 7 days a week I would. Cannot recommend him highly enough. He is awesome!

I had a very fun and laughably and comfortable shoot with mike. He made my images come alive with ideas we both had . All thou the shoot we had laughs . The shoot was very comfortable. I came up with the idea of mix black and red. Worked on the ideas. The images were very life like . I had very productive day with mike. Yes I would recommend mike to anyone.

Awesome shoot with Mike today at a old derelict hospital/orphanage.. Before we even met we had very similar idea's of what we wanted to create whilst using this amazing location.. So that was a good start, then when on the shoot, we created the idea's for a tee.. Mike has a great eye for detail & knows how to create that perfect shot. He's also a lovely, professional, easy going bloke.. With both of our imputs, and the awesome location we created some amazing images. Defo recommended.. Thank You :D

I worked with Mike at the most amazing derelict Hospital/Asylum in Liverpool on a group shoot where I was his model for the day, the shoot itself and results were some of my fave in the 8 years I modelled before having a break and would defo recommend him :)

Had another fantastic shoot with Mike at his studio and loved every minute of it! He is a really nice guy and always a joy to work with. He really know's what he's doing and has some really good idea's and gives good direction as well as letting me do my own thing.

Would thoroughly recommend him to any other model, he makes you feel so comfortable, pushes no levels and let's you be yourself and also excellent pre comms. Look forward to work with Mike when im back in the UK.

i finally had chance to work with mike yesterday at the children in need shoot. i must say what a very down to earth guy, a pleasure to work with and very talented with tons of ideas off the mark. would 100% reccomend mike to anyone. we even did shots from a fairy tale.. so cant wait to see the images. so looking forward to working with mike again very soon. thanks for a fab day mike :)

I Have done two shoots with Mike now and it is a pleasure to work with him, couldn't believe how long it taken use to find a McDonald's to find out we went right passed it hah, had a lovely day and we defiantly work well, which showing our improvement in photos,looking forward to next shoot body art :)

I meet this lovely guy at a children in need shoot, 'location the mill'. he was one photographer i meanly did a shoot with, hes creative like me :), was able to adapt to the pose i had in mind, hes very talented and very happy with the photos we created and good with editing, most of all you get the photos not long after. he can direct you in a pose well and has ideas himself to. i would highly recommend Mike and he is fun, nice guy to be around. i hope to pass you again in future :)

i met dave at the children need event . tho we don't take many images on the day, i came with number of outfits, we talked for ages, the images i did get are brillant, Im hoping to work with dave again, i would recommend to work with,

What to say hmmmm i promised id leave a bad reference but i just cant bring myself to do it as it would be all lies.

Worked with the lovely mike today on an outdoor lighting workshop. Great to work with and a good laugh whilst still being proffesional. Really want to organise working together again. Cant wait to see the rest of the pics thank you so much.

I had my second shoot with Mike at his home studio. It was just as good,if not better than our first shoot. He is so laid back and easy to work with,we had a brilliant time getting some great images together. He made sure I was warm and had food and drink. Highly recommend him to others and hope to work with him again x
