References for The Boiler Works

I worked at Boiler Works as a model for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful time. The studio seemed quite large, with all the necessary facilities, and it was also comfortably toasty. There was an ancient Chinese theme and two studio rooms had been decorated beautifully, with a large variety of props to play with. A lot of thought had clearly gone into that event, it had been very well organised and ran perfectly smoothly. Not to mention the business owner, Emma, is lovely and approachable. I'd definitely reccomend this studio. Thank you so much for having me and I hope to visit here again

It was great working at a Hanfu group photoshoot session with a number of photographers at Boiler Works. Amazing sets, props, costumes, make up and hair all provided. Studio owner Emma, MUA Winnie and the photographers taken part were all very friendly, helpful and supportive. I highly recommend the studio.

Why hadn't I found this gem before? Only entered at the last minute for the October event but within 30 minutes it was like I'd known the place for years. Love the choice of backdrops whether you want blank for e-commerce or themed for Halloween, Christmas etc. Also a good range of settings around the venue to shoot outdoors too (car wash being my favourite) Special thanks to Emma for welcoming me on arrival; definitely one to visit! (I'll bring the suit for the grand piano next time though)

I have had many a good evening at the Boilerworks networking events over the years and it has been a great place to learn your craft, meet new creatives as well as catching up with old friends.

It's good to see it starting up again post covid and it seems to be gathering pace and getting back to how it used to be.

I look forward to making new contacts and having more Sunday evening fun!

I started my portrait journey at The Boilerworks and I still attend the networking nights Emma and Chris run. It's always a decent atmosphere, there's always friendly people there and help at hand if you're new to it all.

Highly recommend for any models or togs who want a good social event and to get a few shots for their ports.

I usually attend the monthly networking events, organised by Emma and Chris. The atmosphere is always relaxed, sometimes hectic and enjoyable. Can’t recommend the event or Boilerworks highly enough. Newcomers and experienced models and photographers are all welcomed into this warm, friendly atmosphere.

This was my second visit to the Boiler Works Photography Networking Event. Emma and Chris are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The photographers and models are very friendly and easy to work with. The studio has a relaxed atmosphere, where you can network with photographers/models and get some great images. There are several rooms with different sets including an infinity curve. Highly recommended.

First time I've worked with Andy at The Boiler Works.

I really enjoyed the shoot, he was easy going, knows what he's doing with the lights, trying out new things and a professional.

We managed to get loads of good images together.

I took part in a Studio Social night at Intune Photography on New Year's Day, working the evening as a model doing a Steampunk theme. The studio has several areas to shoot in, including a white infinity curve, a mirrored dance room and a music rehearsal room. There are changing facilities and shower facilities too. From a model's point of view, this is a good studio to work in, very comfortable!
