Tabitha invented me to help our with an event she was running in London. Of course I said yes!

Tabitha's events are well known for the aesthetic - amazing styling, models & location.

What's not often mentioned is the way she balances professionalism and attendance to detail with a calm, fun, non-nonsense approach. Relaxed perfection personified!

I attended the "Tulle and textures" themed event organised by Tabitha and it was a real pleasure. Tabitha was welcoming and attentive, the costumes and set design excellent, and the group size was small.

I attended my first Photoshoot event organised and ran by Tabitha and it was amazing. She had chosen a great location, model and dresses so that all 3 elements came together in a spectacular fashion.

Tabitha remained on hand to offer help posing and guiding us with what worked well against what textures and background. She was also made use of reflector when required to help light the model.

Whilst not needed she ensured that we all had equal time to get our pictures. I would 100% recommend any future events Tabitha organises. She knows her stuff and I am so happy to have these shots in my portfolio.

Excellent pre-shoot communications, great professional organization but with a laid-back feel, everything running on time. Great outfits by Tabitha, great posing from Natalie, and dare I say, good shooting by myself to get a great set of images ! Highly recommended !!

Had our first photoshoot event with Tabitha @ Whalley Abbey on Sunday, 18th April - have always with interest viewed the events that Tabitha puts together and decided to attend one. We were not disappointed; she is maticulous in her planning and her dresses and props are amazing. She is very creative and a pleasure to work with; the models she chooses for her events are wonderful.

The photoshoot itself was friendly and relaxed and our 3 hour shoot covered 4 costume changes for Gwyneth (model); each so very unique.

Will certainly book another one. Thank you Tabitha for a great shoot.

Had a wonderful morning at Whalley Abbey on a shoot arranged by Tabitha Boydell. Safe and covid secure. Relaxed and extremely well organised. A wide array of incredible fantasy costumes. Imaginatively stylised. Our model for the day was Gwyneth. Had a great time. Would very much recommend booking one of Tabitha's amazing shoots.

A Shot in the Dark

Just wow!

I attended one of Tabitha's days recently and I was blown away by the level of thought and effort put in!

The day is so much more than 'pretty dresses', though man those dresses are gorgeous! You can tell Tabitha spends a lot of time researching locations and choosing the right model for the day. She doesn't just bring whatever dress is handy to a shoot, each dress is planned to match areas of the location, then props are often included to compliment those looks. So much thought goes into these days and Tabitha herself is always on hand to watch for stray hairs and arrange skirts, making sure you get the best shots you can! It's WELL worth your money!

It was such a friendly, relaxed day and I'd love to attend more!

I recently attended one of Tabithas events and it was really enjoyable. Tabitha is very professional and made sure that everyone has lots of time to shoot and she was permanently on hand to adjust the styling while the photographers concentrate on getting their shot. Everything was very well organised with fabulous outfits and a great model. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend one of the shoot days. Tabitha obviously puts in lots of hard work to pull these days off and the locations are always interesting. From castles to car yards. A really good day out.

Tabitha organised a shoot featuring model Amy Lishman at the Japanese Terraced Gardens in Rivington, Lancashire. Pre-shoot comms were very good, including directions to the remote location. Shoot with three different costumes, in folly battlements, grottos and lakeside. Medieval costumes, superb locations, with aerosol smokes gave a medieval Arthurian feel to the shoot. Very well organised and orchestrated, highly enjoyable shoot. Would recommend extremely highly, in fact have since booked two similar shoots, one in Preston and one in Chester and looking forward to both once Covid regulations so allow. Thanx Tabitha and Amy !

I've always admired Tabitha's work and so was pleased to attend one of her events.

Tabitha setup a great number of sets at a variety of locations, providing an excellent model and wonderful ballgowns and headdresses to suit. She gave us plenty of time to shoot at each set, and I had a really enjoyable and one of the most productive days I think I've ever had.

I'm using to sourcing my own models, props and locations, so it was a real pleasure to just turn up and shoot.

Highly recommended, and I look forward to attending some of her future events. Thanks Tabitha and Amy.

I have worked with the amazing Tabitha numerous times, though this was my first ever time working as a model at an event. I have to say it went like clockwork, Tabitha’s attention to detail and forward thinking provided a smooth and joyful day for everyone involved.

I had so much fun and was really happy with the results from the day, I hope everyone else was too! Also how could I not mention the absolutely knock out outfits she puts together. Literally some of my favourite to date. I would wholeheartedly recommend going on one of her events you’ll get great images and most of all have great fun! :)

I've seen Tabitha's events a few times on PP and finally got to attend one at Rivington which is an amazing place to shoot. Due to an unfortunate circumstances where the model booked was in isolation in Spain, Tabitha arranged to get another model that she had previously worked with and she totally delivered. The model was first class and suited the gorgeous dresses Tabitha brought along to the shoot. If you haven't been on one of these shoots you really must as I got some stunning images in a fantastic setting. I look forward to going on another event in the near future.

She was really friendly and easy to chat to.

There was nothing to fault with the model styling, it was top class.

having booked this shoot from an event listing on PP, i hadn't really much idea what to expect, it was just an opportunity to shoot something a little different after the months of restrictions.

Well what great session, well organised, the communications were good, the location was great (Parktannas Retro yard) and the styling worked really well with the location, the model was good and everything was done to enable the photographers to get what they wanted.

I have however found one massive problem with the shoot, I am now obsessively trying to find titles for Country songs that will fit the styling, so I can name the images.

Would most definitely recommend Tabitha.

I have just attended a walk through Rivington Follies that was organised by Tabitha and modelled by Gwyneth Rhianwen. Tabitha provided a number of ball gowns and headdresses fir the shoot and knew the best places to complement them. Everything was well organised, relaxed, fun and friendly throughout and led to a great shoot that added more images to my portfolio which I am very happy with. During our time Tabitha did not take any photos herself as she was intent on providing what was needed for the three of us that were shooting. I look forward to further events that Tabitha organises and she comes highly recommended by me.

There are a handful of photographers on this site, where just looking at an image identifies who took the picture. Tabitha is such a photographer.

Having admired her output from my joining PurplePort, the opportunity to attend one of her events was too good to pass up. Blotting my copybook by arriving late, (thanks to the M60), I was still welcomed into the session, just coming to the end of outfit one.

There were two more thoughtfully planned costumes to follow. Her outfits are as elegant as they are unusual. Maybe this is part of what makes the images she produces so special, but it's the combination of the clothing and the surroundings that go much of the remainder. Her choice of models too is another part of the puzzle. We were fortunate to have Elise (sadly self de-activated from PurplePort), who understood the poses the costumes dictated.

Whether what I've produced from the session comes close to what Tabitha herself would have produced we'll not know - she didn't get her camera out, although she did use her phone!

The simplest recommendation for almost anything is "Would you do it again?"

To attend another event is already on my horizon, so I guess that answers that question :)

It has been mentioned previously that Tabitha is “The Queen of Frocks “ and having bought many dresses from Tabitha in the past I decided to attend a shoot she had planned and was styling.

Prior to the event her communications were excellent; sending out location maps and ensuring everyone had the correct start time as this had changed from the time initially advertised.

Not only is Tabitha a wonderful stylist, she is very friendly, welcoming and a true professional. The outfits were great and the choice of model perfectly fitted the outfits.

The whole event was relaxed, laidback and very productive from my perspective. So, any photographer, model or studio that is looking for a superb stylist…look no further (Y)...

Highly recommended by me and I would not hesitate to work with her again.
