I worked with Steve today on a short notice shoot in the studio. He was fantastic throughout and made sure that I was comfortable at all times - from providing coffee to checking that I was happy with the temperature of the room. He was clear, friendly and wonderfully professional! I would jump at the chance to work with him again!

Took part in a session for studio lighting with Steve at Tip Top Photography and I was very impressed with both the course and the tuition given.

Steven was welcoming and very accomodating, making sure that every step of the course was understood by all students taking part. Very informative and well run we were not only guided through studio lighting (styles and arrangments), but also introduced to working with a model and given the opportunity to take some shots with the different styles.

I feel much more confident about applying studio light now and look forward to shooting with Steve & Tip Top in the future - Thanks Steve!

I had an awesome time shooting with Steve at TipTop the other day! He is a lovely man, very friendly and chatty. He had a lot of cool interesting ideas and lots of different set ups to try! I thoroughly enjoyed working with him at his amazing studio, it's well equipped with lots of props/backgrounds and various things...he even put on the best shooting music! I don't think you could ever get bored shooting there! I 100% recommend him :)

A fantastic afternoon working alongside Steve on a photo shoot at his studio (TipTop Studios, Birmingham). I feel very privileged to have had an opportunity to work with such an experienced, professional and knowledgeable photographer. Steve is very easy to work with, has great ideas, and shares his knowledge to get the best from the lighting set ups and the models. I learnt a great deal as we developed ideas and adjusted lighting to achieve the right effect, and I came away from the studio with not only a lot of amazing images, but also a better understanding of how to make a great photo shoot work.

I would definitely work with Steve again, and highly recommend him to both Models & Photographers.

I worked with Deb & Steve at their studio on Sunday. This was the 3rd time I've worked with them, each time they are welcoming, enthusiastic and well prepared. This time it was for a shoot with their photography club. 27 photographers, 3 models and 3 makeup artists working together in an organised fashion is no mean feat, but the TipTop team did it so well, what a great morning :-)

I would definitely recommend them and hope to work with them again.

Have worked with both Deb and Steve on many occasions as theirs is my first choice when hiring a Birmingham studio. The facilities are awesome, the equipment is mostly brand new, and anyone hiring the studio gets all the technical help they could ask for. Nothing is too much, they will mix and match sets to your liking, or alternatively just disappear and leave you to it. They are lovely people, great value for money and the studio is located minutes from Birmingham's main train station. What more could you ask for? I recommend them highly, they are friendly, professional and very good photographers too. I am already booked studio time for 2012, I expect I will be there quite a few times.

I have worked with TipTop Photography several times now both in and out of their fantastic studio, it is always a pure pleasure to shoot with Deb and Steve, we always get some great images and they are completely different every time. Deb and Steve are extremely professional, friendly, lovely people who are passionate about their business and other peoples images!
