My second shoot at the stables. Sarah was both welcoming and friendly when I arrived. She explained where everything was, and left me to get on with setting up..... perfect. The studio is both spacious and versatile with natural light options, permanent, as well as triggered studio lighting, great for me using vintage film. Both my models had a fun time today. Everything was cleaned and tidy when we arrived, which made us all feel comfortable. A lovely day out and I will most definitely return. Thanks for a lovely day Sarah.

This is the second time I have used the Studio and have absolutely enjoyed each time I'm there. Everything is there that you need for the shoot including extra props to play with. It's in a beautiful location and somewhere that I do enjoy being.

I highly recommend using this location especially if you like me and still very new to studio shooting.

Definitely recommending this fabulous studio, as I had another wonderful relaxed but very productive day spent at Studio At The Stables. Sarah makes the entire booking and hiring process friendly and easy. I can not fault the facilities on offer at this gorgeous location, a bright clean studio giving natural light opportunities as well as studio lighting with different furniture items available for poses. Three new backdrops are very versatile and changed without effort. There are also lots of outside settings to create awesome shots with. I can not find fault with the Studio it’s become quickly a very firm favourite for me and I’ll be booking another shoot there in near future. Thank you once again Sarah for providing brilliant service at a beautiful location.

Perfect comms from Sarah the owner. The studio itself is away warm when arrive for the shoot.

Lots of scope, including backdrops, a bedroom boudoir set etc.

Always happy to shoot here a day so are the models, so must be a good thing.

The only downside is finding the Studio: it's well out into the country!

Beautifully clean, spacious and WARM - that's a very rare combination. Add nicely-chosen furniture and props, and some really good lights (with, as suggested by the word 'spacious', room to set them up not at a good distance from the model) and it's a wonderful place to make images with natural and studio flash lighting.

It's a brilliant package and the price is great value. Thank you, Sarah. I just wish you were local to me - and I'll be back next time I'm in Essex.

This studio is situated in a lovely, quiet and rural part of Essex - surrounded by beautiful countryside. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to model here, as I love how private and secluded it is. The studio itself is clean, with lots of space, plenty of natural light and interesting furniture to work with. Loved the dressing table! More or less everything you need for a productive shoot is provided - including batteries!

Sarah, the owner is also very friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend this place to other models and photographers alike and would love to come back again :)

Another great shoot at the stables today.

Pre comms with Sarah are quick and easy. The studio was clean and tidy when I arrived and setting up the lights (when required) was painless.

The weather was good so shooting a mixture of natural light and studio flash was possible. Another plus point to using the stables.

I will be returning again :)

Second studio shoot at Studio At The Stables was smoother than silk. Booked effortlessly with great communication prior. Once again I found the scope that the studio provided gave seemingly endless variety of styles to be achieved.I feel the biggest plus point is that everything is there and so only a camera and lenses plus model(s) need to be brought. No need to lug kit there.

I had my first shoot at “Studio At The Stables” today, I’ve been meaning to book it for absolutely ages. I shot myself in the foot by not doing so sooner. Booking is made so easy via messaging with clear precise instructions prior to arrival. The actual studio is sublime, and the images on here really don’t do it justice, every type of scenario is I felt catered for, plus the added advantage of outdoor locations too, which I fully utilised as for once clear blue skies and sun. All in all a fabulous experience and I already have another shoot booked. 100% fully recommended

Great studio. Large open plan floor space, so it is really easy to get your equipment set-up, and move from one set to the next.

I have booked this studio 4 times over the last 6 months and feel a reference is overdue.

Initially booked as I looking for a bed for a planned boudoir shoot, I have learnt, this studio has so much more to offer. A bed / A backdrop wall with white and black backdrops / various lights, various sizes / props / clothing and many more little things that make the majority of photographing needs possible.

As others have said, Sarah (studio owner) is lovely with an ideal balance of here if you need, not if you don't. The studio is also very reasonably priced. Add in tea/coffee making facilities & a cloakroom/changing room - I arrive / shoot with everything to hand / and leave - just how I like it :)

Totally recommended (although not at the dates I want it of course ;) ).

This must be my 7th or maybe 8th time utilising this studio and I just love spending the whole day here.

I feel like I can actually ‘move in for the day’ if that makes sense? Homely and welcoming.

I take along all I need (plus much I don’t LOL) get myself in and just chill for the day with whoever I’m shooting with.

Sarah (The Owner) is just simply the best.

This wonderful lady gives you the access into the studio and leaves you to it for the whole day.

Yes, very relaxed but always available if you need her for anything.

But I’ve never yet needed to trouble her, as everything you need is in this cute barn studio.

From some super (and large) Godox 300 lighting sets and many other lighting choices, props, various extra clothing option for models on hangers to tea and coffee facilities in the room for your use always available.

Then there is the outside. Some wonderful fields right next to you and a secluded areas for the more adventurous amongst you.

Some barns can be used at certain times of the year

(Please check on the day first, this is a working farm after all!) and some interesting site buildings to bring texture and some wonderful colour variations to your images.

If you use your imagination you can create some jus amazing images here.

I’ve shot Boudoir/Fashion/Maternity and Art Nude at this studio and have always been so pleased with the results on every occasion.

So stop hesitating. Send that email and get booked in!

Its a great place to hold your own studio day, the rates are very reasonable for all the facilities available to you.

Then there is Sarah herself of course, who is simplly amazing :-)

First time using the stables and was impress how easy was to find thanks to Sarah’s instructions. But it is so well equipped

Had a shoot at the studio with 'Trevor Morris Photographic'. Loved the rural location, reminded me of being back where I grew up. The studio was clean, spacious and warm. Clean toilet and changing area. I would recommend and work at the studio again. Thank you.

Found the studio surprisingly easy to find using my sat-nav and a couple of directions (thanks to Sarah). Studio was spotless and well equipped (although I’ll admit, I did end up breaking out my own gear). Good natural light, high ceilings and everything as you’d expect. Can certainly see myself using the studio again. Recommended!
