References for Studio88

Studio88 hosted Geoff and I. It was very cold day and they put all the heaters on to make it more comfortable. We used practically every space during our shoot! I love the bed with the black frame. We were lucky that a different set up was temporarily up so we were able to make use of that. We even used the stairs up to studio B! I love this space and Rob is always helpful and friendly too but also leaves you to it. I think the facilities are good at this studio. And the space is fantastic!! Recommended! I hope to come visit again!

This was my first time visiting the studio and I had a lovely experience. On the day Rob wasn't available so his assistant hosted the studio but Rob made a special effort to come down for 20 minutes to meet myself and introduce himself and the studio. The studio was clean with multiple sets available to use. The changing rooms had a heater, multiple appliances and basically any toiletry you could imagine.

I can't wait to visit the studio again! Highly recommend.

The owner is very welcoming, providing some delicious snacks… I enjoyed them very much!

The studio itself is great - there are many different sets to use aswell as lots of props.

I had an incredible experience during my studio day at Studio88. The team was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, picking me up from the train station and providing me with snacks throughout the day. Rob, the talented photographer, was a pleasure to work with. His creative vision and expertise were evident in the amazing shoot we did the following day, inspired by "Weird Science." I really hit it off with Rob and can see us becoming good friends in the future.

I would highly recommend Studio88 to anyone looking for a professional and enjoyable studio experience. I would be happy to work with them again and am already excited about the opportunity!❤️✨

I've been a few times for workshops and events but this was my first visit to Studio88 for one of my own shoots.

Rob was great in getting everything booked in and was an absolute star in helping me get the modifiers I needed setup plus operating a smoke machine whilst being in the splash zone when Ivy was cosplaying Catwoman and creating a few splashes with her whip.

Shooting part in the downstairs cove area and then upstairs where the water tank was setup, I liked the different creative options. It had everything I needed for lighting and I loved the creative options that the water tank adds when it's setup, it was great to hear some of the potential expansion ideas he has for the studio and possibility to have something like this available more of the time.

Great to have this just an hour down the road

I’ve worked with Rob for many years now and he’s always been an indispensable part of every project I’ve thrown at him. His self-managed Studio88 is ace. Combined with his on-hand expertise and the fact that he’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, it’s a combo I can’t recommend enough.

My first visit to Studio88 was to shoot with a photographer who uses the space quite a lot for her Boudoir photography work, the space is fabulous with large ceilings, beautiful natural light and possibilities in the downstairs studio for more moody shadowy work. So many props on hand,swings ,chairs and a bed to work with.

It has so much to offer and a brilliant changing area to get ready in.

Rob was on hand to assist the shoot and filmed some Bts, he was welcoming and made sure I had what I needed when I arrived to the studio.

even managed to shoot with him at the end and although we had an hour we managed to get some brilliant shots from what I’ve seen so far, Rob was easy to work with and fun to chat to throughout.

Hope we get a chance for a longer shoot in the future and would Highly recommend the studio to all! Can’t wait to come back 😊

Studio 88 is a fantastic space to shoot. It offers so many different opportunities and scene variations. Rob is also an amazingly helpful owner who is only too happy to share their extensive armoury of lighting and help you get the shot you want. It is a 2 hour drive for me but I would still choose here over other studios nearer to home.

I attended the Studio88 water tank workshop and had a great time.

Rob was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was my first time shooting in a water tank both Rob and Maleficent were incredible.

The studio is well setup and has all the equipment needed.

Shooting in a water tanks was a lot of fun and I defiantly want to do it again.

I recently attended Studio88 for a water tank workshop and had an absolute blast!

Rob was very helpful and super friendly. I was pretty nervous, as I have never shot anything like this before, but both Rob and Maleficent were incredible.

The studio is an incredible space and has all the equipment you could ever need. I only needed my camera; everything else was supplied.

Now for the tank! This was so much fun and definitely ticked off a shoot style I had always wanted to try. I can't wait to return!

Yesterday I held an event at studio88 with ten models and 4 photographers, shooting with the water tank and other areas.

Rob was amazingly welcoming and helpful throughout being the perfect host!

Pre comms were faultless and rob covered every aspect.

Looking forward to shooting there again for the next event!

Another fleeting visit to this fabulous studio! Communication with Rob is always super easy and we had the studio booked within a few messages, although his employee Nicky was on hand on the day to assist us.

I was met at my car, shown in and then offered a hot drink before the photographer arrived. Nicky was very hospitable and I felt very safe and comfortable in the studio.

The studio is very well equipped, this time I was working in the natural light space which is absolutely glorious! There's so much you can do up there and we captured loads of gorgeous pictures.

I had an absolute blast and can't wait to return!

I was booked on a shoot with Emma at the studio, this was my first time visiting Rob's studio, communications on how to get to the studio were sent promptly with great detail and even included a Timelapse video showing the route to take which was most helpful.

Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile and a big hello, and promptly handed a nice cup of tea.

The studio is on 2 levels with nice open and well lit upper section where we had 2 setups, Rob offered advice on the lighting setups and allowed me to move the lights around to achieve the look I was after, on the ground floor is the infinity curve which was setup with continuous light, smoke machine and lasers, I left this shoot till the last.

The studio is well kept, clean and has plenty of space to move around, there is a wide range of lighting.

Look forward to planning and returning to Studio88 in the future,

I finally made it to Studio88 and had a fantastic shoot with the studio owner before working with another photographer. We were working downstairs in studio A and had a great shoot. The studio was warm and I was greeted with a cup of tea on arrival before being shown to the changing room. The studio is spacious and well equipped, with tonnes of different modifiers and softboxes. Rob, the studio owner, was very helpful and happily set up various lighting set ups up for the photographer.

I felt very comfortable in the studio and would definitely recommend it to other creatives. I didn't get the chance to visit the natural light portion of the studio, but would absolutely love to in the future!

Worked at Studio88 for the first time and am very happy that I did :-)

The studio has lots of space, great natural light and enormously versatility for the things you'd be able to shoot there. Rob, the owner was very helpful and friendly. He walked me around the facilities and then let us get on with the shoot.

Very happy to have chosen Studio88 and hope to be back there soon. Highly recommended :-)

First time i have shot at studio88. It isn't too bad to find if you look it up on Google maps beforehand. Lovely space with natural light and some good Props! I think they have a room full of stuff you can use! The model changing area was a great size, clothes rail, big mirror and warm. Rob the owner is friendly and left us to it. I definitely want to shoot there again!
