A wonderful and very memorable shoot!

Simon and I had been communicating for a while about doing a shoot in Cornwall. We decided to shoot on Porthcurno beach during a rather stormy mixed weather week.

I had a feeling the weather would be OK and even if we were caught in an epic storm I felt sure it would only add to the drama of the images...

Well we had the sunniest loveliest day. But unfortunately the sea lashed out and took me under! Freak wave! Simon was gallant and ran in and pulled me out. What a hero! I hate to think what might have happened if he hadn't rescued me. I am so grateful.

Aside from all this drama, Simon was a great photographer and gave absolutely fantastic directions. He was enthusiastic and clear about the images he was after. I think we made a formidable partnership! I would happily shoot with Simon many times over. But maybe without the dunking next time 😆

Simon got in touch a few weeks ago with a shoot idea which I loved and was super excited for!

Pre comms were spot on! Simon shared a mood board, clearly laid out with lots of inspiration for each set.

Simon arrived on time with bags of enthusiasm. Instantly I knew it was going to be a great shoot. We worked through lots of different sets and it was a really productive day. Simon is such a great guy, time literally flew by as we were creating.

I was really pleased with what I saw on the boc and look forward to seeing the finished edits.

Sapphire Rage

Simon was a joy to shoot with. We had a great time shooting outdoors this evening, Simon instantly made me feel at ease and even was kind enough to give me a lift home.

From the back of camera images we go some great shots and I cannot wait to see the results.

I don’t shoot fashion often but Simon was super patient with me and I really appreciated it.

I cannot wait to work with him again.

Had a great spontaneous shoot today with Spooky MeltingPot Pictures at my home studio this morning. Communication was great prior to shooting and a lovely mood board was designed.

On the day of the shoot Simon was both easy to work with and talk to. Due to careful planning with themes and concepts the shoot went smoothly.

I really enjoyed working with him and time flew by.

More than recommended. Respectful, professional and easy to work with.

I had a great start to the day in the form of an early morning shoot with Simon. The weather wasn't as we'd originally hoped for but as we'd had some prior warning of this we were able to adapt accordingly. The mist and mizzle did not dampen Simon's enthusiasm and he worked with the conditions to get what I think will prove to be some atmospheric shots. Simon's pre comms were excellent from the start, I had a clear and definite idea of what he wanted to achieve. Simon showed the greatest respect and consideration at all times for my comfort and safety. The shoot was productive and enjoyable -the time few by. Simon communicates his ideas and directs very well, he obviously knows his craft.He takes it seriously whilst not taking himself too seriously and has a great sense of humour which is always a blessing! I highly recommend Simon to any model and would be delighted to work with him again,should the opportunity arise.

From the point of contact to after the shoot, the communication is second to none. The shoot was very well planned out and organised with details of what he was expecting as well as details of location to give me an idea of clothing. Simon is very professional and a very good photographer and very easy to get on with. I felt very comfortable with him and he put me at ease straight away. I loved his ideas and concepts.

I would love to work with Simon again if I get the opportunity and if he would like to work with little old me again!

I have been looking to do some HSS shooting and trial and error work for a while so I asked Simon if he wanted to get involved as he had not done it before either.

He had a fab location and we chose a model.

Simon is easy to work alongside and great to bounce ideas off of.

We and a great laugh shooting for three hours with a fab model.

Simon has the same passion and desire for great imagery that I do and with both sets of kit we learnt a lot and it was great to have each others knowledge and experience on the same shoot. I would always recommend Simon for a model looking to portfolio build their images or an experienced model looking for his own unique style of shot and he is equally at home with either.If your looking for a shoot buddy or even if your new looking to learn your photography. Simon knows his stuff and is an asset for either.A pleasure as always sir and 10/10 till we do it again ( Ps. hes old enough to know what that means)

Simon has now shot at both of my little studios & I think he likes this one best. We utilised the bedroom kitchen and studio and I’m sure our 4 hour shoot could have gone on a lot longer if we didn’t have other plans. Simon is a total professional and all round lovely fella, look forward to working with him again very soon

A while and it was finally realised at the weekend. It was such a good laugh as usual, we sang songs from the musicals, sashayed and danced about and Simon even wore a feather boa just to help me get in The zone... after all he is a regular Frankie fan 😜😜

I'm so excited to see the end result of this mornings shoot.I have had a magical morning with this photographer and as well as been respectful he is easy to get on with. he directs the image he is trying to create very well and with ease. Love the way he takes attention to lighting changes and explains what he is doing within the process.

I had an amazing shoot yesterday with Simon!

I have shot with Simon a few times and each shoot has been really creative and thematically different, which makes shooting with him super fun!

His precoms were great as always. I had a clear idea of what he was after and was able to tailor my wardrobe to this.

Simon is a polite, friendly guy and his photography is of a very high standard. It's amazing how he works with natural light. :)

We even got the chance to experiment with a polaroid camera on the shoot, which was a lot of fun!

Overall an absolute joy to work with!

Simon is a very likable and easy guy to work with. He is a creative individual who you can easily throw ideas at and have them bounce back at you! I felt very comfortable meeting him on location and walking around St Albans with.

Simon is a skilled photographer with a good knowledge of how to work with natural light to achieve some very unique and beautiful shots.

The photographer who organised our shooting day at Natural Light Spaces. Very professional and also welcoming. Very chatty and enjoyable photographer. Shooting with him didn't produce as many images as with your average photographer, but the ones he did do were absolutely gorgeous. Quality over quantity here. He came with a lot of interesting ideas. I'd like to shoot with him again some time soon hopefully. Also recommending to anyone out there
