My very first shoot was with the amazing Spike.

Someone else recommended Spike and organised the shoot. I was going into the unknown.

Spike messaged to introduce himself beforehand which was lovely and very professional.

The shoot itself was amazing. Combined of Solo and duo with another person. I was put at ease from the moment of arrival and left with huge smiles on my face. We produced some awesome images for my portfolio which gave it a massive boost.

100% can't wait to shoot again and undoubtedly would recommend. His professionalism and personality throughout made the experience that extra bit perfect.

If it wasn't for COVID-19 we would've already done so.

Spike showed up at Oxford Tattoo Convention after responding to my casting for a photographer to shoot the bodypaint creations (4 in total). His communication was excellent prior, before and after the event and we are starting to see some lovely work produced by him. He came with various backdrops to suit each bodypaint as there was no theme for this event and was not phased by the public crowd when it was time to shoot the finish results. Spike will shoot all genders, of all ages and sizes and backgrounds which is a big plus for the bodypainting family. I very highly recommend him to anyone who needs a photographer.

What a great person. He is full of knowledge and tips which intrigued me. The photos were A* when they were finished but the whole process from start to finish was enjoyable...as soon as I arrived I felt comfortable and welcome in his presence and he was respectful with levels completely. It was lovely that someone that has been doing this profession for so many years can still clearly give 100 percent to portraits and enjoy doing them. Was great to meet him and would hope to create further work in the future. Was truly an honour to be photographed by this man.

I love Spike; he’s an awesome photographer to work with, always full of ideas and always open to my wacky ideas. This was our 4th shoot and it was fun, though all of our shoots have been *fun*. Spike is very easygoing, yet knowledgable and creative. I feel very comfortable around him and we always get great results. I can’t wait to get the edits back from the shoot as the proofs were fab eve straight out of camera. The shoot possibilities with him are endless and he ticks all the boxes. I’m looking forward to our next shoot!

Another fantastic and creative shoot with Spike earlier today after far too long a gap since seeing him last.

Spike had done great research and preparation ready for today's shoot and between the two of us we were able to bounce ideas and create superb images as a result.

Looking at the back of camera photos the images look amazing already and I cannot wait to see the finished results.

He was an absolute gem and came and collected me for the shoot and dropped me back after which was lovely.

Spike, it was lovely working woth you again, definitely recommend and I look forward to our next creation.

I finally got to see spikes studio and his puts mine to complete shame! Excellent shoot with lots of creative ideas being thrown about, gels, baseball bats, rabbits and UV paints and lights. Shooting with spike is never ever ordinary... cannot wait for the next session of madness xx

It was a fun shoot and we got some great images out of it!

Ive known spike for what feels like a gazillion years, and we managed another shoot this weekend, trying out my new gels and spikes umbrellas. Awesome results, I now kinda know where I am going wrong after a great shoot and tutoring session ...although I'm sure spike only comes round to see my cats. Excellent photographer, most knowledgeable canon user I know and has the best giggle...oh and did I mention he loves cats....winner in my book. Highly recommended by me x
