Last photo of a beautiful dog - Riley

My last photograph of my daughter's beautiful Doberman, Riley. This was from July 2018.

Sadly Riley had suffered several cancerous lumps in the side of his chest and 'armpit' areas and had developed a fear of going to the vets. Last year, Jade decided that next time a lump developed, they would monitor it regularly but not intervene surgically anymore, as the lumps were coming with increasing frequency. So they loved Riley and treated him every day, when the end came and the vet recommended that it was time to consider euthanasia for Riley's sake, they took him out to his favourite place, for a run on the beach; he had a McDonalds burger for lunch, and later on they took him to the vets. He wasn't stressed out now, as the last several times he had been to the vets, nothing painful had happened. He went to sleep very chilled out and relaxed. He was a beautiful character and we all miss him greatly, the big daft lummox lol. RIP Riley, sleep well mate.
