Had a fabulously,cold shoot on this particular occasion for our soldier theme...I took Nigel to a friend's place who had an American jeep and a German jeep, I had previously made my camo mankini, and also wore friend's German wardrobe too...we had an interesting shoot, I personally had to get warm after a short while, but as always, we enjoyed the shoot and got fab images....just before we got a FPI awarded to us for the first concept of this theme,"Tinker".

Wow, absolutely superb first shoot with Nigel today. Pre-shoot comms were spot on & Nigel shared a couple of his ideas so that I could bring suitable clothing with me.

Nigel is such a warm, friendly person with a great sense of humour. He had plenty of ideas but also welcomed suggestions from me & we worked on the images together & they look great on the back of the camera so I can't wait to see the final ones. When necessary he gave excellent direction which was really helpful to get a shot just right.

Nigel is easily one of the most respectful photographers I've worked with & he ensured I was comfortable throughout the shoot.

I had a really fun day & very much enjoyed Nigel's company & relaxed shooting style. I highly recommend Nigel, to any model whether experienced or just starting out & I look forward to working with him again, soon I hope. Maybe when it dries up a bit eh?? Thank you so much :-) x

Shooting today as always, was very productive...and Nigel came up with some great ideas(It's great when a photographer has involvement like this)...we are continuing a theme, and enjoying every minute of it...plus, we aint made it easy for ourselves, and that's also a fab motivation too...we are starting to sing now during the shoots, and being comfortable with Nigel is a great plus, because I can't sing! Definately a fab photographer and guy...can't wait to see the next images....Thanks Nigel

Had an excellent shoot today with Nigel, our third shoot, this was part of a themed shoot,which we will still be collaborating with in the coming future. Nigel had some additional wardrobe, and ideas for this shoot, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.We had the pleasure of getting a wonderful location with prop beforehand. The weather wasn't too bad for a mid March, we had a few breaks of sun, which was a pro and con for the shoot, but I know we have excellent images on his camera, and I cannot wait to see the end results....pre comms for this theme were great and looking forward to continuing the theme. Great photographer,we had a laugh and that is just as important too.

Smilers and I agreed to share a duo shoot at the Natural Light Spaces with Freespirit and Anna Rose. I had approached Freespirit if she would mind if I shared the shoot to reduce the cost and she immediately suggested Nigel.

As others have written, Nigel is a real gentleman in every sense of the word. He and I had a good number of communications in the lead up to the shoot including a numbers of calls to agree arrangements and working practices. All these were easy going and friendly. By the time of the shoot, I felt I had already got to know Nigel.

Nigel is also a lovely man to work with as a fellow photographer. Respectful of the models and was equally keen as I to ensure we both had a fair share of the proceedings. He freely contributed ideas and suggestions. While not that confident in a studio, he was keen to learn and I hope got a lot out of working collaboratively.

Based on this shared shoot, I have no hesitation recommending Smilers.

Nigel - Thank you for sharing this interesting and fun shoot. I would be very happy working with you again should you wish to repeat another shared shoot.

Had another lovely shoot with Nigel at Natural Light Spaces- this time as part of a group with AnnaRose and Wavepower. I always love working with Nigel, we get along very well as I think we're quite similar in working at a methodical pace and Nigel is very patient with my perfectionism. Nigel is a very talented and creative photographer, who possesses great timing to capture movement and dance, stemming from his experience with bird photography, and he is always kind and considerate and a pleasure to shoot with.

Highly recommended, and I very much look forward to our next shoot. :)

Second shoot with Nig today, just as unique as the last one, fabulous, and interesting, and we had some great laughter too with our ideas, which we incorparated today, and will do in the future too.He had some great positions for himself for this shoot, I was knackered just watching him LOL.I know he was a little angel today, as he fitted me in last minute from his other plans, and so very pleased he did, cannot wait to see our results, thanks Nig.X (from your muse!)

This was shoot number two for myself and Nigel on my recent West Midlands tour.

We drove to a ruined abbey and despite the snow, ice and cold wind, I believe we achieved some brilliant shots together.

Nigel is lovely to work with, friendly and professional.

Firstly sorry for the delay in leaving a reference for you Nigel.

I met up with Nigel while I was on a mini tour. Pre shoot comms were spot on 😊. Unfortunately Nigel got lost so was a tad late. So I decided I wanted to try and work slightly faster to make up for the hour we lost .

I thought Nigel was moving into my hotel room with the amount of kit he had with him lol 😉.

As Nigel had been in touch with me quite a lot prior to our shoot date. I felt like I’d known him for ages. We got on like a house on fire. Nigel is so easy to get on with . Which made the shoot more fun 😊.

We’d decided that we’d do a number of sets so that we both had a wide selection of images . Nigel wanted to try some low key work which he’d not tried before. I think it took him out of his comfort zone. But with my knowledge of lighting needed . Nigel took some fantastic low key images as well as from our other sets . I’ve seen a few he’s posted and lived them. I’m wanting some plzzzzz lol 😉.

Nigel is very friendly, very professional with his photography and a real gentleman. He does drink a lot of tea btw. So make sure you stock up on teabags lol 😊.

I wholeheartedly recommend Nigel 100 💯 % . It was an absolute pleasure shooting with you Nigel.

Had my long awaited and wonderfully brilliant 3rd shoot with Nigel yesterday. He booked the beautiful Sandon studio for us to use this time which was just stunning. As always he was full of fabulous ideas and got such amazing results. This time we worked on another duo shoot along with male model Chris and explored various concepts.

It's always so much fun to work with Nigel and he is an absolute gentleman a wonderful person and very talented photographer!

My fourth shoot with Nigel and this time we were back at Sandon Studio where we first worked together. I can only echo what I’ve said before - I love working with Nige! He’s endlessly creative and makes the shoots so easy and enjoyable. We always come away with some cracking work and I leave on a creative high! Nigel is a totally lovely person and brilliant company. I can’t recommend him enough.

I love shooting with Nigel because he’s an absolute gentleman, great company and we work really well together. Nigel has lots of ideas and enthusiasm for the shoot, is always very considerate and keen to get input, and he captures fantastic images!

He booked the excellent Far Forest Studio for today’s shoot, and we made use of both the indoor and outdoor space - 6 hours went very quickly which is another good sign the shoot went well. In short, I very highly recommend Nigel and can’t wait to work with him again, thanks Nigel for a great day :)

I love working with Nigel. He is such a lovely guy, as well as a talented and perspicacious photographer. He's been endlessly patient with my perfectionism, and I think when we work together it is a learning curve for us both, as we experiment with ideas and lighting, sometimes struggling with technical challenges, but always persevering to produce beautiful images. Ballet photography is a hard genre, and I think Nigel's prior experience with bird photography is definitely an advantage, as he is very good at anticipating and capturing movement at the right moment. He is always kind and considerate, and respectful, and a real pleasure to work with.

I had my third shoot with Nigel yesterday and it was even better than the last, which was hard to beat! We went out on location in Cannock Chase, which is just beautiful this time of year - although the autumnal colours weren't quite as vivid as we'd hoped, the light was beautiful and the images certainly have a wintery air about them. As always, the shoot flew by. Nigel was very considerate, always double checking I was comfortable and even taking me for a hot drink at the quaint local café. Nigel's photography just keeps getting better and I'm really excited by the images I saw in the camera - the angles are always flattering, the light always perfectly captured. I really don't have a bad word to say about Nigel and we're already planning our next adventure! Thanks again Nige x

Had a very enjoyable first shoot with Nigel on a beautiful North Somerset beach. Nigel was professional, courtesy and great company and we worked really well together - so much so that I hope to work with him again soon on another project.

We had a very productive shoot and got through a lot of difference sequences and I can't wait to see the final images. 100% recommended :)

Had a truly and totally lovely first shoot with Nigel last week, during my Studio Days at Natural Light Spaces, working mostly in ballet genre, with some art nude. Nigel was absolutely wonderful. We worked through poses both from his moodboard and mine, building up to performing more demanding motion freeze captures at the end, and Nigel was kind and considerate and professional throughout.

Ballet photography can be quite a tricky genre- it can require but also reward patience, as one often has to repeat a pose or step to get it just right. I found Nigel is really excellent at capturing me at the height of my ballet leaps on the first shot, so that we repeated only to refine and perfect details. He seems to have a great natural instinct for it, quite possibly aided by his previous experience in photographing birds.

Highly recommended, and I sincerely hope we will work together again soon.

This was my second shoot with Nigel,First was a home shoot,second was Sandon studio,I found him a true gentleman,easy to chat to,we had a great laugh especially in the rain,we went to the beach at night also.

In 2 meetings we have some fantastic memories and images,

I highly recommend and truely hope we shoot again soon,Hopefully October and make a loud more laughs and images,

I highly recommend.
