I really love this portrait & I’m glad I’m becoming more confident with them generally.
A portrait always feels more raw than my art nude work, almost more real in a way. It’s a close up after all - wrinkles, laughter lines, it’s all there. The life I’ve lived so far, the joy, the sadness, the ups & the downs.
It’s also lovely to have some SFW images on my port!
I think portraits are really rather beautiful when taken well, & sensitively, as Viv has done here. Thank you Viv.
