References for Sin Yu Chan

Yesterday I had my first shoot with Sin Yu, It was certainly an icebreaker in that it was a London walkabout shoot at almost sub zero temperatures with even light snow to add effect! The shoot involved moving between various locations and using battery powered studio flash. Sin Yu performed faultlessly and extremely professionally. Sin Yu specializes in her extensive, very high quality, designer fashion collection. She can take on the role of stylist and makeup artist which certainly sets her apart. She was not at all phased by the somewhat challenging shooting conditions and environment, all the time maintaining a convivial yet focused attitude toward the shoot. Sin Yu is very capable of taking direction and working to a pre planned brief, she is also extremely talented at freestyle posing. Her pre-shoot communications were excellent. We were able to pre plan everything in such a way that we both pretty much knew exactly what we were trying to achieve even before meeting for the first time. I am very happy with the outcome especially considering the weather conditions, Sin Yu being the perfect compliment to my photographic visual style. I hope to be working with Sin Yu again in the near future.

Wonderful shoot with Sin You today at Neon Dreams Studio. We shot fashion and portraits. I could tell I would enjoy the shoot way before it happened, she responded to my mood board with a really professional moodboard of her suggested styling which worked fabulously. She's a really professional model, just fabulous at posing, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you Sin Yu! Highly recommended

A fabulous shoot with Sin Yu. What a joy to have a mood board to start with, and some amazing styling ideas. And her coms spot on always replies promptly. Makeup, hair and styling spot on. She came up with some amazing outfits so different to anything I had shot before. And also some different poses to give some really unique images.

I would highly recommend Sin Yu, Will looked to organise another shoot next year.

I had a fantastic shoot with Sin Yu.

Where do I start? first and foremost she is a fantastic model. Very professional. Communication leading up to the shoot was quick and detailed. She turned up on the day ready to go - make up done to a high standard and a selection of outfit that we had been discussing in the lead up to the shoot. She is able to create wonderful poses without any direction, but is willing to take onboard any direction that I gave her during the shoot.

Sin Yu is also a wonderful stylist, creating 4 distinct outfits looks around a theme that we had for this shoot. She has a wonderful wardrobe to create from, and her eye for detail is fantastic.

I would highly recommend booking Sin Yu, and look forward to shooting with her again in the future.

Another fabulous shoot with Sin Yu. When you book with Sin Yu you get so much. She does her own fabulous styling and is so incredibly professional. Her communications are always fabulous and responsive and she brings her A game every time. The images we produce together are always great and this shoot was no exception. Highly recommended for other photographers.

Great communication beforehand. She sent over options for outfits for the shoot and i picked what i liked the most. On the day all the outfits where amazing and looked even better then the photos she sent me.

She really helped me get the vision i had in my head become real and i'am very grateful to her for that.

Would highly recommend her styled by me modelled by me options as it great way to get something different.

My first shoot with Sin Yu and such a great way to start. We used MAAN Studios as the location for this venture. Sin Yu proved to be everything I expected and a lot more besides.

Sin Yu is totally professional, very Beautiful, has an amazing wardrobe and wonderful attention to detail. Immaculate make-up coupled with style and elegance is where we begin and end. Endless poses with brilliant use of hand gestures.

I would like to think that this shoot could be the first of many.

Recommended on so many levels. :)

Sin Yu is stunning as are her outfits. Perfectly organised and has, as far as I am aware,a unique booking system which gives the photographer access to her amazing wardrobe.I normally use the outfits I have collected over the years and run the shoot but with Sin Yu I was effectively in her hands as far as the shoot programme went. It works. Poses confidently and fluidly with immaculate make up and has a lovely smile (which I am pleased now figures in her portfolio). This is a special young lady who is thoroughly recommended.

It was a pleasant surprise to get an email from Sun Yu asking for me to take her photo with jewellery she had.

We communicated well before the shoot and she had requested to use more flash than natural light

After I showed her how each was looking, she preferred the Natural Light ones and I was happy to oblige and create some lovely images.

Sin Yu is very professional and takes pride of her appearance.

Easy to talk with and taking my instructions.

As this was a collaboration, I selected a range of photos I was happy with and gave her free choice to pick her Top 10 and I would get those polished and ready to upload.

I look forward to seeing them on her different platforms or campaigns if she chooses to use them.

After a long delayed shoot due to me breaking my ankle, my first shoot back was my shoot with Sin Yu. I can fully recommend Sin Yu, an amazing knowledge of styling so much so that I was happy to leave the creative direction to her.

Variety in styling and posing made the shoot a breeze and Sin Yu was easy to get along with and very professional. When a model really makes an effort from conceiving an idea, sourcing a make up artist and with a clear idea of that she wants it makes the day run smoothly.

Obviously very ambitious and works across a range of styles. A pleasure to work with.

What an amazing shoot with Sin Yu. She is absolutely passionate about her work and very talented. We started communicating on purpleport. She knew exactly what she wanted to get out of this photoshoot and it made my life easier. She shared a couple of sets of moodboards on fashion and styles she wanted to shoot and we eventually booked a session for April. Communication was flawless and prompt.

Sin Yu was on time on the day of the photoshoot and she wasted no time in getting ready with the amazing costumes she had brought. She was patient and a good listener when I was explaining the lighting effects that I’m gonna make. Her posing is graceful and flawless expressions with hands and face. She contributed towards the editing process and knew exactly how she wanted the treatment to be.

I had a fantastic first shoot with Sin Yu on Saturday.

Communication prior to the shoot was exceptional with Sin Yu providing mood boards of the ideas she wanted to create and as i work at times with a MUA friend, we arranged a shoot involving a MUA (Sister of Sinister) to bring her ideas to life.

On the day of the shoot you would not believe Sin Yu has been only modelling for under 2 years as she posed effortlessly and had a range of expressions that worked great with the editorial beauty and glitter make up done on the day.

Not only that, Sin Yu was a delight to work with, very easy to get on with and the shoot went so well, we will be doing another shoot shortly.

Just finished a wonderful studio shoot with Sun-Yu. Firstly her pre shoot comms are excellent, she shared some great ideas for the shoot and she is incredibly professional. She arrived at the studio ready to go, her make up was exactly what was required for the shoot and she came with range of looks to fulfil the brief. She was very easy to work with and there was no need for direction, her posing skills are outstanding. Sin Yi is so collaborative and was very happy to try some of my creative ideas as well as bring her own ideas and style to the shoot. I'd heartily recommend working with Sin Yi and greatly look forward to have a chance to work with her in the future.

It was great to work with Sin Yu recently - we wanted to create some studio fashion shots so she created a moodboard and prepared outfits so we were ready to go as soon as we got to the studio!

She posed confidently with each of the looks we were shooting, was happy to take direction, and didn't tire of repeating movements to get the right shot.
