I met Simon during a group shoot with other models modelling for a lingerie brand. Simon was friendly and polite and professional at all times with all models.

I was made to feel at ease and was shown images throughout the shoot to ensure I was happy with all shots taken - Which I was!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Simon contacted me to book a half day shoot here at Basford Hurst Cottage with Clarabellle. Pre comms with Simon were great and everything was very easy to organise. He arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot and was easy to get along with from the moment he stepped through the door.

During his time at our location Simon was incredibly respectful of the property and props and made sure to ask if he ever needed anything. Simon is easy to talk to, polite, friendly and worked well alongside Clare to create many amazing images.

We would absolutely reccomend Simon and look forward to welcoming him back to Basford again soon!! Thank you Simon!!

I have been wanting to work with simon for a while now and finally I had my first shoot on Sunday with him, it was a early start so we could catch the sunrise , we had a beach shoot, it was great.

Despite our original car park being closed Simon found somewhere close for us to park, the location was a great choice .

He made me feel at ease instantly ,he was friendly and easy going and that helped with me feeling comfortable with him and in front of the camera and it really shows in the pixtures .

He gave me some great advice , and generally is a lovely person.

We got some great shots that day and he is a great photographer, I highly recommend any model to work with him you will not be disappointed.

I'm looking forward to our next shoot already ☺️.

Great shoot with Simon the other day at Saracen house!

Simon very kindly picked me up from the station and I immediately felt at ease and could get along with him well. I love his bright, eye catching glossy style and it was super fun to work with colourful backdrops and coordinate outfits!

Throughout the shoot Simon showed me the back of camera images and we worked well together to create awesome images!

Had my first shoot with Simon at Saracen house. It was such a great shoot and the 4 hours flew by! Pre comms were top! He even put together a mood board of ideas we were going to shoot. Throughout the shoot Simon was soo friendly/chatty and made me feel comfortable. Simon introduced me to some new ways of posing which has helped me greatly since. Absolutely love the shots we got together and hope to work with him again!

I've lost count of the amount times Simon and I have worked together, but they just seem to get better and better. I shot with Simon for 4 hours at The Boardroom in Derby, and as always he was friendly and chatty, arrived on time and was ready to shoot. The pre-comms where great despite my lack of pintrest know-how, and the images looked fantastic. I haven't shot in a while and was slightly nervous, but Simon made the 4 hours fly by and me very comfortable.

I absolutely love shooting with Simon, this is our 3rd shoot and we are already planning the 4th.

He is a real pleasure to work with and such a genuine person, which makes the shoot so much better.

He is amazing at what he does and puts in so much effort to get great shots.

He is quick to get pictures done and they always incredible.

We did a sunset shoot at the beach- i had a sneak of the photos and i love them already

He got just as muddy as me to get the right shots haha, He is very relaxed and comes up with good ideas.

We are already talking about ideas for our next shoot so I definitely recommend working with him.

I am very happy with my shoot with Simon, it went really great. Despite all delays of the trains we managed to organise this shoot,Simon was very patient and a pleasure to shoot with. That was my first beach shoot and I can say I was really enjoying it. Simon is truly a professional photographer, who doesn't need a lot of attempts to capture the great photos. That was a last minute shoot but we did really great, Pre-communication was on spot, and I am grateful Simon for his friendly approach and understanding of the circumstances. I spent a great time shooting with Simon, that was a great day eventually

Had an amazing shoot with Simon at Saracen House Studio

Arrived and we got straight into shooting, Simon got involved in choosing outfits that worked with the backgrounds and helped me plan outfits out each time we changed backgrounds

He had great ideas and we worked through a lot of different styles and background changes in the four hours we had in the studio and even used the natural light room so had a real range in looks by the end of the shoot

Simon let's you work through your own poses but also gives some pointers here and there as to what will look good for the shot and also let's you see all photos on an Ipad so that you can see exactly what works and what doesn't and retry.

Loved the shoot and am already happy with the images we captured

Seen a few edits already and can't wait to choose and see the final shots

Would definitely recommend and will definitely be working with Simon again

Had my first shoot with Simon today after I applied for a casting he advertised.

Firstly, the images we got were awesome, we smashed through a range of looks in the 4 hours we had and from what I saw they look amazing.

He tethered his camera to an iPad so that I was able to see what images we were getting so that pose wise if there was anything I needed to change or re adjust I could.

Simon is friendly, easy going and chatty and explained everything he wanted from the shoot beforehand via message. He even sent me a mood board so that I could get outfits that fitted the looks he was after which is always helpful.

I would definitely recommend working with Simon, if you want some epic images for your portfolio.

Hopefully we’ll work together again in the future. :)

As before, Simon is professional, polite, seamless communication and an all round lovely photographer to be around.

I adore the results from both shoots. Simon is very creative himself, yet still lets you have creative input during the time you work together.

I had a fantastic shoot with Simon last week during his trip to Dorset!

It didn't take us long to get a plan of action in place - his pre-comms are FAULTLESS. I knew exactly what to bring and the style we would be shooting and felt very prepared. Simon even sent me a photo of his car so I knew who to look out for on the day! Other models will appreciate how helpful this is as we often go in blind 😊

As soon as we met the conversation flowed and I felt comfortable and relaxed. Simon is a true gent, very respectful and conducts himself like the professional he is. On top of that he is good company and easy to get on with.

Throughout the shoot Simon showed me the BoC images and WOW. We did good (even with the scorching sun and sand in the eyes). I am very excited to see the final edits!

I would highly recommend working with Simon to any model. You will have fun and come away with great additions to your portfolio.
