Had the privilege of working with Simon on a group shoot at far forest studio! Was my first time working with Simon and he didn’t disappoint. He’s very professional yet friendly and approachable. I loved Simon’s creativity when seeing a shot and how he likes to see a story. He gives great direction and we got some amazing shots almost instantly. Was a really efficient and fun shoot: Can’t recommend Simon enough and hope we get to collaborate again soon! Great photographer and amazing to work with!

I had a fabulous shoot today with Simon at Basford Hurst Cottage as a part of my studio day and he was lovely! He booked on last minute but made sure to introduce himself online which always puts me at ease. He came with loads of ideas but was very happy to collaborate and let me pose freely too. I loved what I saw BOC and I hope it isn't too long until we work together soon? Highly recommend :)

Fantastic shoot with Simon this week out on location! We have been blessed with a sunny warm day and we went to shoot in a green hilly and rocky landscape. Simon pre comm was excellent. On the day he collected me from station to drive to the location. He gave me a brief of what he wanted to achieve, showed me a moodboard with inspirations.

I have shoot with Simon in many occasions and it is incredible to see how much he is growing with his photography. He is passionate about what he does, enthusiastic and it really shows. Pictures from the back of the camera looked fantastic!! Very professional all the way through, respectful and thoughtful of model needs. Working with Simon is lots of fun in a friendly relaxed and creative atmosphere. I highly recommend work with him and I am looking forward to our next adventure.

He’s such a creative photographer and had some really cool ideas for our shoot which I enjoyed. Simon is friendly, very respectful and chatty and which immediately puts you at ease.

this was my second shoot with simon and we had a blast! he came along on a charity photoshoot we had organised for UKCG and he got some great images, was respectful to models and then venue and and kept up with comms.

Simon was the first person I met at the venue due to us both being early. He's really friendly with a lot of tech. My phone was running low on battery and he offered me his phone charger/power bank which was much appreciated. Simon shoots on a Canon which is something rare with togs these days. Would definitely recommend Simonm

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

This weekend we welcomed Simon Bond back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with the incredibly talented Fanny Muller.

We can honestly say that Simon is always welcome here at Basford. All pre comms are always great, he arrives on time and gives 110% to every shoot he does. He is always respectful of the model he is working with and is happy to ask us if he ever needs anything.

Simon is polite, friendly and easy to have around here at Basford and we would of course highly reccomend him! Thank you Simon!!

Having published Simon’s great work a few times, and meeting for the first time last year, had him on the Fernside #twistedrhino shoot today. Was a top class pro, models loved working with him and so did the other photographers. Great laugh too, and looking forward to working with him again. Totally recommended.

I had my first shoot with Simon Bond who was waiting for me at the apex studio. He came in his own branded shirt which he made in his 2 years experienced as a photographer and editor. I arranged the shoot with him to be at the Apex studio. He was punctual to the shoot and ready to rumble. He brought his camera with him and ipad equipment to show me the photos throughout the shoot. He was picky with what he wanted me to wear to match the background scene, which makes a change, so we got the studio owner's modelling clothes out too to help make up his mind. After looking at his organised moodboard and notes, I shot in different outfits and through to open leg. I wanted to use his props he brought with him, but he did not want me to use them all. He did not push past my open leg levels. Recommended to other models.

The Apex Studio (Telford)

Simon has been to the studio a number of times working 1 to 1 & on our studio events, so it was great to see him back.

This time he was working with model Emma whilst she was here on her tour & studio day.

Always turns up on time, very respectful when working with his models. Always looking to get creative.

Very easy to work with and a pleasure to have in the studio & we look forward to seeing him again.

I worked with Simon for the first time at a charity photoshoot.

We decided on a urban/street feel as it suited my outfit so we headed outside.

Simon is professional, friendly and a pleasure to work with. He knew exactly what shots he wanted, trying various other areas the venue had to offer. He gave great direction and the back of the camera images looked awesome.

I was lucky enough to meet Simon at a charity event organised by Saltire Photography and Unorthodox81 Models.

Over the day we managed to squeeze in two shoots where Simon proved his experience.

He showed me the images on the back of the camera and offered advice when needed on how to improve the outcome, and the images what I've seen look great!

I found Simon to be very respectful and informative, a true professional and I would recommend him to anybody looking for a photographer.

Met Simon at a charity group shoot and found him incredibly easy to work with, even within a few minutes of meeting each other for the first time. He was friendly, professional, always respectful of boundaries and full of ideas for how best to use the space, resulting in some really great images.

Without being prompted he also went out of his way to amend a reference to reflect my pronouns and gender identity which meant a lot to me as a genderqueer model, and just goes to show what a lovely person he is.

I would highly recommend Simon to anyone and look forward to working with him again in the future :)

I've lost count of how many shoots I've had with Simon now..

I know I was one of the first models he came to shoot with 1-1 when he first went for it and the man I shoot with now is a completely different photographer! Gone are the days of not knowing what to do, now he's on it and soaks things in like a sponge.

Simon has ideas for days and he's an absolute joy to work with! Stupid to say but I'm so proud to be part of his journey and see him develop so fast and so well!

I had so much fun shooting with Simon on location at a beautiful park in Wolverhampton for a new fashion brand on Tuesday. Prior to the shoot, communication was excellent with a clear plan of the day ahead. Simon is very friendly and attentive, meeting me at the station on time and driving me to and from the location which was a great help. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout - Simon maintains a high level of professionalism and is very easy to get along with. He is a brilliant photographer and as a result we created some amazing shots on the day alongside our creative team. I would highly recommend working with him to any model.

Simon is an absolute pleasure to work with, so relaxed and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Simons manner and professionalism is amazing! Lots of amazing pre comm communication and planning, which makes all the difference. And it made the 4 hours or so such a breeze! Simon’s direction was great, and clear! And it helped to get the shots we needed! I love working with simon, and would highly recommend any models to simon, new and experienced. I am looking forward to the shots to come through as it’s something a little different! Exciting stuff. And I look forward to working with simon again in the next couple of months.
