Simon came to Basford to shoot with Yoo Yoo on her studio day.

Pre communication with Simon was great! He turned up on time and hit the ground running.

Simon is great fun to have around and very easy to talk to! He is a brilliant photographer and brings loads of ideas to a shoot! He is also very respectful of the model and the location.

I have no hesitation recommending Simon and I look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thanks Simon!!

I had the pleasure of working with Simon twice in the space of a few days.

Once as part of a group shoot and the other 1-1 for 3 hours at Apex.

He also dropped me back at the station - thank you again

Simon is one of those genuine people and due to this the conversation and jokes flew easily as did the time.

Making sure I was comfortable along the way and prepared with a shoot plan and a prop!

I absolutely vibed after our 1-1 because he was so happy with what we had achieved; it was a great feeling seeing someone so enthusiastic

This was a shoot with several photographers, and importantly, several snakes, which Simon organised and coordinated very efficiently.

Pre-shoot comms was great and gave plenty of time to come up with the best sort of looks between us. Simon was very open to my input and ideas and happy to elaborate on some of the themes I suggested. Directions and logistics for the day were all very clear, and everyone arrived in good time.

The shoot itself was very relaxed and enjoyable, and all of the photographers were polite and respectful of both model and snakes, without anything being overly formal. I had a great time on the shoot and the snakes were fabulous! Oh, and Simon was pretty good, too :)

I'd be more than happy to shoot with Simon again and to help develop any concepts or ideas he has, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other models.

The Apex Studio (Telford)

Simon recently booked a 1 to 1 session with Kitty Dawson whilst she was hosting a studio day.

He worked really well with his model & is always very respectful. He brought along a new light to test & it was interesting trying out different effects & angles with the light & seeing the results

Simon has also attended many of our Themed Workshops & gets on really well with the rest of the group

Had my first shoot with Simon at an outdoor location near Nuneaton today and was most impressed by his skills behind the camera. Simon has taken the time to learn his trade through courses and mentorship and has a wealth of knowledge in photography. He is genuinely nice person who is easy to get along with and very interesting to talk to. He had concern for my welfare throughout the shoot checking I wasn’t getting cold or uncomfortable and the time went quickly. The images I’ve seen so far are very good and I’d be happy to shoot with Simon again and recommend him.

I shot with Simon during my Studio Day at the New studio, Apex.

The studio was versatile and we tried a few different themes in the time we had.

Upon meeting, Simon was professional, friendly, respectful, creative, kind and lovely! :)

We used the graffiti wall set-up for some alternative, edgy images and a few other sets.

I thoroughly enjoyed shooting with him and also chatting with him during our breaks.

I would definitely say yes to shooting with him again!

Pandora's Curse

I had another shoot today with Simon at Erdeswick House and what a shoot it was!

Simon was on time and had a good vision and plan of what he wanted to achieve.

Upon arrival we walked around the venue discussing ideas and vision for each area, we then prepped the rooms to match our ideas ready so we could smoothly move from set to set.

It was amazing to be able to bounce off someone so much and create similar visions, bringing them to life - we were able to create around 7 different sets in one shoot!

Simon was very professional - lighting was set up and prepped with test shots before starting each shoot and adjusted where required due to ever changing natural lighting.

It was an amazing shoot and I cannot wait for the next!

Amazing!

I shot with Simon today for the first time and I cannot fault him at all! Amazing comms before and during the shoot, great attention to detail and knowledge during the shoot!

Simon was great at directing his vision but also very welcoming of ideas and letting you use your creative thoughts. Very reassuring and kind, it was a very comfortable shoot (and he makes a top notch cup of tea!).

Simon booked last couple hours remaining for my studio day with the the amazing Beth Kate and myself at Apex Creative studio in Bham.

So happy he did!! We worked different sets, solo and duo, from lingerie to art nude classic and shapes.

Simon is a lovely guy, friendly, creative and passionate.

The images from the back of the camera looked stunning and can’t wait to see the final results!!

Simon booked onto my most recent studio day (1st ever duo day with Lenza @ Apex Creative!) just a couple of days before the day, and I couldn’t be happier that he had! Having booked the remaining 2 hours we had available, we worked thorough a selection of sets from lingerie individually and as a duo, to art nude yoga duo. Simon is a joy to work with and such an avid learner; he is relatively new to working behind the camera, but has experience on the flip side of the lens! I worked with Simon during several occasion, he joined few group shoot where I was modeling and last week we had our first 1:1 shoot on location.

Simon was impeccable with his communication. Very organized, he gently picked me up and drove be back.

We have been lucky that the weather was dry and sunny, so despite the cold it was still pleasant :) we worked on art nude on a location with antique walls.

Simon was professional, considerate of model needs, friendly and with a positive attitude.

I can’t wait to see the final results!

Stepped in last minute today for a shoot Simon had at Aldridge transport museum after he had a late cancellation and I’m so glad he gave me a call as We had an absolute great time!

Simon is super attentive to the details and creates some fantastic images! Always puts the model first and gives some great direction when needed!
