References for Silky

Worked with Silky a couple of years ago. She was fantastic. Her pre/post communications were excellent and she was a delight to work with. She even suggested a suitable location, as I wasn’t familiar with the area she lived in. Not only is Silky a beautiful model, she’s top notch in her modelling skills and fun to work with. Would I recommend her to others? Absolutely 100% I would.

We never managed to get a shoot sorted whilst I was in London, but we finally got to shoot again once I was settled back in Gloucester.

And it was such a pleasure catching up and getting to work with Silky again.

Silky is a real professional, works her ass off and knows how to pose and she also knows what looks good from a photographer's point of view too.

I love working with Silky and the images we get and I'm already looking forward to our next....

After a long wait I finally got the chance to shoot with Silky and the wait was definitely worth it.

Silky came well prepared with lots of outfits and ideas (plus a cello!). She offered heaps of very helpful suggestions regarding lighting, posing and angles and together we got some great images.

The four hours simply flew by and the whole shoot was terrific fun not least because Silky is simply a great person to be around.

It won't be long before we shoot again. Many thanks!

This was my second shoot with Silky, and my first at her home. Pre-shoot comms were spot on, with inspirational images shared and the details sorted out. Silky is a great host, with a welcoming cuppa and biscuits provided, and a quick chat to put the world to rights and to sort out a running order for the shoot.

Silky's posing style is flowing, she takes direction well and comes up with ideas that add to every concept. She is fun to work with, the time flies by when shooting with her, and she has a lot of patience when it comes to lighting and positional adjustments in the quest for the desired shot! Fully recommended!

I had a shoot with Lou a few years ago and having seen how good she was then, I felt I needed to improve before trying another shoot.

I shot with her at her house yesterday and was invited into her loft for a dark high ISO set. This is the stuff I love and we also shot around the house - gloomy day so mostly grainy black and white which I also love.

Lou is great fun to be with and is very tolerant of a bumbling old fart...with a Nikon.

I won't get these images edited this side of Christmas as I want to spend time getting the very best out of them.

Communications were perfect and the biscuits very good.

I can recommend her to all photographers - particularly those who enjoy shooting in a loft!

Seriously, she can get great results inside and any location.

Shot with Silky at hers having responded to a casting she put out earlier in the summer. Silky had some very specific ideas she wanted to try out, very low light mild erotica in her attic studio. This was quite a challenging shoot lifting wise, not helped by the fact that due to 'operator error' (i.e. I screwed up) I managed to create a set of JPEG only images rather than RAW where I would have had greater post-processing options to mess around with exposure!! Silky was very kind and managed to use her own Lightroom & Photoshop skills to recover some images and even left me a nice reference which I'm not sure I deserved. She is a super lady to work with and has a lovely, chatty personality whom I cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks Silky and next time I promise I will set my camera up properly.

Really glad I answered Lou's casting and that I was one of the photographers she chose to work with. Pre shoot comms were organised so that we knew exactly what we hoped to achieve beforehand. Lou arrived on time and with plenty of outfits (read massive suitcase). Loved working with this bubbly lady, she is really chatty, easygoing and fun to work with. Lou took all the 'wafting' in her stride and we created some great images together. This was my first shoot with Silky, and it won't be my last! Pre-shoot comms were spot on, with ideas, themes and inspirational images exchanged and the details of the shoot agreed upon. Silky turned up with a range of outfits and props, and after a cuppa and a chat we got down to shooting.

Silky has a great posing style, she knows how to work with light, and she's very easy to get along with. We talked through the entire shoot and the time flew by! Silky puts forward her ideas well, she takes direction well (even though it was hardly needed) and she's got a willingness to try new things. I'm looking forward to editing the shots! Fully recommended.

It was a real pleasure to work with Lou for the first time yesterday. We'd planned a beach shoot with her cello and managed to create some really dramatic images despite the weather - you know it's windy when the cello case starts blowing away! Lou is super professional, but also great fun to work with. I'm absolutely thrilled with the images we created and hope we get a chance to work together again :)

I had the great pleasure of working with Lou for the first time today. Given the distance she had to come to get to my studio Lou was punctual and came with a suitcase full of dresses, lingerie,props, boots etc, she even brought her cello without being asked. So what can I say about Lou that has not already been said by others save to say that apart from her being a very professional model, she is down to earth and extremely helpful and does not stand on ceremony. I shall most certainly work with Lou again, but I shall not leave as long the next time to ask her. I would highly recommend and strongly advise anyone who has never worked with Lou before, no matter what your level of photography is should really consider booking a shoot with her.. Had an excellent shoot yesterday with Silky.

Pre shoot comms were good, and we had discussed using some of her musical instruments a Cello and a Saxophone which made a change from the usual electric guitar shots you see.

She is easy to get on with, and it made for a relaxed fun shoot, she even played Smoke on the water on the Cello whilst I altered the lights.

I'm really pleased with the results and would recommend her to other photographers.

Lou applied to my Naked String Quartet casting call. She was perfect for the part. Not only did she own multiple suitable instruments, she knew how to play them. This made the shoot go very smoothly; I could concentrate on the photography and trust Lou to pose well. I recommend Lou to anyone else wanting a music themed shoot or, indeed, for many other themes as well.

As we had discussed Silky was aware that I am a newcomer to portrait photography and she made me very welcome and at ease. She gave me some valuable and pertinent tips about natural lighting and it was my first shoot without using speed lights. I learnt a great deal from the session as well as other insightful tips an absolute pleasure to shoot with. I appreciated it wasn't her normal type of shots but she was exceptionally professional in her approach and would highly recommend her to any new photographers.

Been trying to shoot this fabulous lady for 12 months. Wow, was it worth the wait...You bet your little cotton socks it was. Everything I expected and more. We were like long lost friends, chatting so much, we nearly forgot to capture the shots, but we did, and I am very happy with a collection of brilliant (well we think so) images.

Please,please do yourself a big favour and book a shoot with Lou. I still have a very big grin from this wicked fun session. Recommend Lou to the moon & back. xxxx

I had a great shoot with Silky today. She arrived early and fully prepared, with her musical instruments as we had discussed previously.

Silky has a fantastic outgoing personality and this made the shoot such good fun. She also proved that the instruments were not just props; we were shooting as she played.

Really looking forward to having another shoot in a couple of months for a different theme.

I cannot recommend Silky highly enough, she is truly professional in her approach to the shoot, and posing styles with little or no direction.

I love this Lady. She is Absolutely Fantastic at her Job. Talk about being professional and fun to go with it. There was never a dull moment working with silky. I just love the faces she pulls on set. lol . And for some scenes i said hey you don't even need to pull them erotic faces as your beautiful without even trying. I would recommend to any body who after a model with silky characteristics . Fun /Energetic and super cool.

Great job Silky I'm currently looking for more projects for you at the moment . Will get editing them pictures just been MEGA here with these companies.

Had a wonderful shoot this morning with Lou at her Staffordshire home. She truly lives up to all 175 of her references here on Purpleport. What the images can't show are her warmth and personality, a lovely model with other skills and knowledge of lighting and camera angles to help you get the image you are looking for. Will definitely be looking to shoot again with Lou in the future.

I had my second shoot with Silky and another highly successful shoot it was, with several changes of outfit. Unfortunately, because of the weather we couldn't shoot outside but made the most of the lovely indoor location. We produced some great images. Silky is always a joy to work with, plenty of laughs and jokes. A great sense of humour, full of fun and ideas which all make for a very enjoyable time. Beautiful and talented I can highly recommend you work with her, you won't regret it.
