References for Shoreditch Home Studio

Had an all too brief shoot at Bella's home/studio in Shoreditch. As is evident from the photos in the studio's profile the space is amazing. Bella made us feel very welcome and was nearby (but not in the way) in case there were any issues (there weren't). Bella has some studio lights which you are welcome to use, however we used available light only. Unsuprisingly for a town house areas of the house could become quite dark when relying on ambient light only, but for way of an example, I was able to shoot ISO 400 film at 7pm in the evening (in May). Highly recommended.

Excellent studio,located in central London.Plenty of natural light.Big rooms with funky furniture.The host gave full freedom to work.Nice bonus-the roof location.Will use the studio in the future.

I had my first shoot at Shoreditch Home Studio yesterday.

Communications and arrangements were really smooth and the studio owner Bella is very friendly and at the same time extremely discreet.

The studio is blessed with great natural light thanks to the huge windows and offers so many shooting possibilities in the various rooms available, the model I was working it and myself particularly loved all the small objects/decorations throughout the house that gave us many photo ideas and the overall homey feel.

Definitely highly recommended.

I had a great shoot here at Shoreditch Home Studio today, it's a great location

There is lots of potential for different shots,natural light, and or flash and it has a definite feel to it.

Also the hosts Bella and Gene are very hospitable, and friendly and helpful.

I will definitely shoot there again, and i highly recommend shooting there.

Had my first shooting from Shoreditch Home Studio today with photographer Mike(Satyr on PP). Shoreditch Home Studio is a very versatile home location full of quirky and beautiful props, and it's super tidy and clean and also Bella(the studio owner) is very accomodating and friendly :)

Highly recommended to all models and potographers :)

Had another great shoot at the Shoreditch Home Studio...this place gets better and better. Great host, great backdrops, convenient location....it's got everything plus a roof terrace.

I shot here with ADWs, and had a fantastic day.

The studio is a great, versatile space with loads of different options to create a range of sets.

On arrival, Bella was incredibly welcoming, friendly and funny. She took the time to show us around her house and then we were left to our own devices unless we wanted help with lighting.

There is an amazing supply of drinks, and an entire drawer full of sweets (gutted I missed that one until the end!)

The studio is very well equipped in terms of lighting, but there is also loads of natural light too.

The decor in the studio is very trendy and adds a wonderful backdrop to photos.

Highly recommend Shoreditch Home Studio and would love to go back again. Can't wait to share the photos from the day.

Petra and I had a great day at Bella's studio this week. Shoreditch studio is just a few minutes from Liverpool Street Station, so easy to get to. Bella's a great hostess, gets you set up, then leaves you to get on with things unless you look for help. Then there's the well stocked drinks and goodies fridges and drawers - you won't pass out through lack of sustenance!

There are no end of nooks and crannies in the studio, and a reasonable amount of natural light, which is a bonus for me. I felt we just scratched the surface in our time there and had we not been tired out, could have pressed on finding plenty of opportunities.

I worked at Sofias new home studio with Sean121 last year, I have to say that it was very clean, welcoming and light, with lots of space and loads of interesting photographic opportunity. Absolutely loved the roof terrace and the quirky boho style. Id definitely be interested in working there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a change from a commercial studio.

I've worked at Bella-Sofia's location on a number of occasions and cannot recommend it too highly :)

I really like shooting in distinctive locations and Shoreditch is just that - a wide variety of sets within a beautiful house that can be adapted in a myriad of different ways

I have been lucky enough to have 2 FPIs from this location so it must be bl**dy great

On top of that, Bella-Sofia and her team are very welcoming and exceptionally helpful - especially on the day I arrived with a camera that wouldn't work!

Shooting at Bella-Sofia's place is great fun and makes for great images :)
