References for Shoreditch Home Studio

Rachelle Summers

After spending a weekend at this studio in August I fell in love with the place and immediately arranged another weekend there in October, and then I'm back there again for a full day in December :)

It's got such character, really quirky decor and furniture and bags of natural light even in winter! It's got the studio lights if you need them and an incredible rooftop garden area too for that added little bonus.

Bella runs the studio really well and has always been so lovely to me and looked after me incredibly well :)

I really look forward to shooting there and can't wait til next month when I'm back :D

Had my first shoot at Shoreditch Home Studio today, and it definitely won't be my last. Bella's a wonderful and gracious host, and the Home Studio is ripe with opportunities for getting some very special images. So much versatility, and so much potential. A truly unique shoot location-I'll be back!

Another great shoot at the studio last week. Even though we've shot there a few times now, we are always finding new areas to shoot. Great natural light, but when needed there are lights and flash units available to use. What could be said about the roof terrace would fill a book. Even in gloomy weather, there is so much natural light pictures look great.

Bella is a great host and is always on hand to ask questions, but leaves you to it. Highly recommended location.

Second time here and it was every bit as awesome as the first!

Enjoying finding new angles and places to shoot, it really is an amazing little goldmine in the heart of the East End - Gene was wonderful and helpful and absolutely I will be back.

Another great shoot with Shoreditch Home Studio. The weather once again didn't want to play ball by being an overcast day, but the roof garden get some much natural light that even on a overcast day you don't need to shoot with a flash.

Bella is always on hand to help with any questions, drinks and even moving items around to get to a set you've always want to shoot.

Studio's in London are hard to find, but Shoreditch Home Studio has so much character, nooks and crannies that you'll have to shoot there several times to cover it all.

I did a shoot here with the lovely Rachelle Summers. We shot mainly natural light, and a little studio flash. Each room is incredible to shoot in, and the roof garden is amazing.

It's well set up, easy to find, and a great mixed setting.

Bella is a Lovely host! :-) Very Polite, Warm and Welcoming (even though we arrived late due to train mix-ups ooppss! :-) ) Shoreditch Home Studios is oozing with natural light and gets lots of sun throughout the day. The interior decor is lovely, modern yet has a vintage twist! Both the photographer and I were very pleased with this location & would defiantly recommend it to other models & Photographers!

shot here a few weeks back and what an amazing place! I loved the central location, stunning interior decor, marvellous roof garden (soon to be turfed and tropical trees added) and stunning furnishings all of impecable taste. Bella was a marvellous host and this is a truly unique venue in terms of interior design, backgrops, colours, and opportunity to shoot with natural light outside on a roof garden, thats very rare in London, indeed anywhere else for that matter. This is THE perfect studio for anyone who believes that models need to be placed in a situation as opposed to against a white wall! Much as i love white walls we certainly werent looking for any on this occasion and were absolutely delighted with the venue. We didnt get to shoot in every rooml as ran out of time, always the way with stunning venues which means only one thing, we shall defo be returning!

Had my first shoot at Bella's beautiful home yesterday and it was perfect in every way.

Communications were perfect and quick. The house is simply stunning and gives abundant possibilities for stunning images.

Bella herself goes above and beyond what one would normally expect at a shoot to make sure literally eveyone's needs were accounted for. On top of this she is friendly, fun with a sunny positive attitude.

Superb townhouse shooting venue with access to nearty every room in the house, each with its own special mood and character, and also the roof terrace - only had two hours here on my first visit and shot everything using natural light but will make use of the provided studio lighting and trigger on my next visit - as it was such a short shoot had to resist paying too much attention to the two adorable resident cats - will be back there for sure

This was my first time here but what a great place. On arrival we were made most welcome and shown around a superb number of rooms with great features and some fabulous natural light. The location is wonderful easy to reach by public transport. Thoroughly recommennd this studio.

I worked at the studio this week on a last minute shoot. From a models perspective it was a great location, a combination of modern and classic and made a really good backdrop to the shots, non of the old glamour studio tired cliches, just lots of fun props and space to work with. The model room had a makeup mirror with lights and plenty of clean available space to spread out clothing and shoes etc. The studio itself was immaculate, I'd definitely recommend it to other models and photographers who want somewhere that will give you fantastic shots.

Super studio in an awesome central location - so simple to get to! What a treasure trove of a location, so many options, amazing natural light throughout too. The roof terrace - you just don't find other locations like this outside of the uber expensive movie location world!

Bella is an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble.

This could now be my go to location in central London!

What can I say....

Bella is the hostess that does the mostest.......... She bent over backwards to fit my shoot in today and I have to say she is also the perfect host at the studio.

For the studio space itself, if you are a fan of natural light you have to book this place. Great space great light and the most amazing roof garden.

Highly recommended venue and a must book place to shoot.

First time shooting at Shoreditch Home Studio and to say we were impressed is an understatement. There so many places that you can shoot we just didn't have time to. Bella and Gene are ace hosts and I've got to say that they are probably going to be are "Go to" London location. You've really got to shoot on the roof. We managed today while dodging the frequent rain, but the results were amazing!

Really felt at home, perfect location, great styles much better than a boring white backdrop. Price was great. Bella was very friendly and was tentative to any need we had. Definitely recommend to everyone and I'll definitely be going back.

Had a great shoot at Shoreditch today with DirtyMary on her visit to London.

Fabulous place wth loads of opportunities here so we had no problem coming up with all sorts of ideas.

Loads of natural light so although there is flash available, chances are you won't need it anyway, depending what you want to achieve of course.

Bella & Gene are so friendly, on hand if you need something and hidden away when you don't, perfect really.

It was my first visit, but will certainly be on my list to revisit for London shoots.
