Crossroads Studio

Mark is one of the most regular visitors to the studio, and was here to shoot with Arabella on her studio day.

Mark always has some creative ideas for his shoots and brings along appropriate props. He is great with models and has them at ease very quickly.

Although keeping the shoot lighthearted he produces top class images.

I had a fantastic shoot with Mark during my weekend at Crossroads Studio, this was my first time working with Mark yet I felt like I was catching up a friend.

Mark was super friendly and chatty from the get go and he came with some ideas and props which was fabulous!... It's important to mention that Mark did get in touch before our shoot to let me know some ideas he had, along with sending over some moodboards, this really allowed me to come to the shoot with suitable clothing and a good idea of what Mark was looking to achieve. Perfect!

The shoot absolutely flew by and I really had fun shooting the more festive images that he wanted to achieve!... It really gave more fun and retro festive :)

Fabulous shots, a respectful photographer and some good giggles what more can you want from a shoot!..

I would certainly recommend Mark to other models and would love to work with him again in the future!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Mark attended a recent workshop run by Owen Lloyd and Nicole Rayner.

It's was a pleasure to welcome Mark to Basford, he's a wonderful photographer and full of creativity. He made sure to listen to Owen throughout the day and was respectful of the location, the model and of the other photographers.

I love working with mark and I’ve literally lost count of the amount of times we’ve actually shot together over the years! This time mark came and shot me from home, we started the day backwards and did a wet set first and built up from there using a mixture of both natural and studio lighting throughout the time we shot. Mark is always a laugh to work with, down to earth and always respectful. We got lots of awesome shots from what I saw on the back of the camera and it was lovely to shoot and catch up again. I’ve been working with mark for a fair old few years now and I’m always chuffed to see him return, I’ve been very lucky recently to have gotten to work with mark both at my home studio and then back again at crossroads for my morticia event! We got through so many looks that we even managed to sneak in some different ones to the morticia looks haha! Always an absolute blast with this one, and he was super patient with me after I’d had covid so I was still quite sluggish and in recovery, Mark did not mind this at all and was very relaxed about it which I massively appreciated because this was my first shoot back since I’d been poorly. Thankyou so much mark for another great shoot and your patience!

This was my first shoot with Mark, but definitely not my last I hope! His pre shoot communications are amongst the best on PP, he was very responsive and happy to provide me with ideas ahead of time, making my packing process so much easier!

Upon arrival we had a chat and a tour of the property I had hired before jumping straight into the shoot, working our way through so many genres, including an outdoor set which was absolutely lovely.

Mark was polite and professional and I instantly felt comfortable in his presence, really heling to make a super relaxed atmosphere. The back of camera shots were amazing and I look forward to seeing the edits! Mark clearly knows his stuff, happily adjusting the settings as we went, battling against the natural light!

It really was a pleasure to work with this lovely gentleman, and I very much hope to do so again.

Mark is a very relaxed kind of photographer with great ideas for his shoots.He can also pick up on different ideas as the shoot progresses.

Mark is very easy to get along with and is great with all the models. He is always professional in the shoots and respectful of all models.

Fantastic first shoot with Mark at the weekend during my studio day at Crossroad studio.

Communication before shoot was great, he got in touch with me to explain his ideas and what to bring clothes wise.

On the day he arrived on time and ready to shoot. Two hours went very fast. Lovely person, creative and passionate photographer. We worked from fashion to art nude. Used some cool projection as well. Very happy with images and final results so far :)

Mark is upon all a truly amazing person and so much fun to be around and also very talented photographer. Time simply flew by and in the space of 2 hours we shot around 4 amazing sets from lingerie to art nude.
