I've had a long standing interest in photography going back almost 30 years. Over the years I've enjoyed pursuing many genres especially landscape and wildlife photography. More recently I've gone into photographing and videoing theatre shows and events and now also enjoy photographing people both in the studio and outdoors.
I've recently developed an interest in photographing the art nude form, as I believe that this is the most challenging form of photography, as it is in art. The challenge is to portray the human body in an artistic manner without the images becoming tacky or poronographic. My main inspiration behind this has been the photographs of John Swannell. This can be either in the abstract form in the studio or outdoors in the landscape.
I hope to work with talented models who also aspire to this and to produce images which will appeal to both men and women.
