After using the MTL900 light stick, I thought I'd really push my luck and light Helen with a £10 torch wrapped in a large shiny gift bag - making a sort of cone, open on one side. Quite a bit dimmer than the light stick so raised the ISO by a stop and a bit., and opened up the aperture by a stop and a half.
