References for Saracen House Studio

This was my first time shooting at Saracen and I truly hope it wouldn’t be the last!

I was on a tour for a few days and we shot at the studio during my last day in England. When I walked inside the place, I didn’t want to leave! The changing room is lovely and spacious, perfectly lit, with a large dressing table and two large mirrors. It’s stocked up on essentials, like cotton pads and hair pins for makeup and hairstyle corrections, if needed.

The studio itself is huge, with a main area and a bedroom set, providing a lot of space to work with. There is a large variety of backdrops and many lighting options, perfect for both softer and more dramatic shots.

The owner, Andrew, is someone I could chat with for hours and never get bored - he’s witty, widely knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour. During the whole 8h shoot, he made sure both I and the photographer I was working with were comfortable, and would help us adjust the lights when needed.

A fabulous experience at a fabulous studio with an even more fabulous studio owner. I definitely recommend Saracen and I truly hope I get to come back someday :)

This was my first shoot at Saracen which I booked to accommodate a four hour shoot with Fretters.

The booking process was easy, seamless and friendly. Everything was ready when I arrived and Andrew proved the perfect host making Sophie and I 'proper' coffee and chatting casually about nothing in particular - as you do.

As soon as we kicked off the business of the day Andrew was enormously helpful in discussing my objectives and rigging up a lighting configuration to achieve what I needed. He worked quickly, whilst Sophie and I reviewed outfits, and everything clicked into place. He helped with two further studio changes during the morning and nothing was too much trouble.

Despite the fact that the Studio is hardly local for me I will definitely look to use Andrew's services again when I need to organise a shoot with models located in the area.

Although I have been to Saracen House several time before for workshops, this was actually the first time I used the studio for an individual model shoot, in this case the fabulous Ell Mae.

Saracen House Studio fully deserves its great reputation and countless positive reviews. The lighting equipment is first class and the studio is very well laid out with everything you could possibly need. Andrew, the owner, is extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble for him. Plus he's got a very impressive coffee machine!

I shall be back!

Another shoot at the 1 of the best studios by far saracen house I have shot here loads now and I can honestly say andrew the studio owner is amazing at what he does with suggestions and light set ups I consider andrew to be a very good freind now but most important andrew is always on hand to lend a hand nothing is to much trouble there is so many choices for a fantastic shoot so many areas to shoot in the wood panel wall a backdrop or bedroom boudoir choices choices a warm freindly welcoming studio made to feel at home a truly splendid studio which is a credit to andrew and the professionalism to make sure your experience is 1 to remember and not just a another person

I have shot at Saracen House now for a few years and I have always been made very welcome by Andrew (owner)

Andrew is always on time, helpful and wants you to get the best from your shoot,

I feel like Saracen is my 2nd home as I am always there, and glad to have become good friends with Andrew

Andrew is always on hand if I need help with anything, nothing is too much trouble, or he is happy just to let me do my own thing with his lights, back drops or boudoir set,

There is loads to shoot at studio, you have the Main room with 20 plus different backdrops, then you have the wooden wall I love with the lights,

Then you have the back room which has a bed in it for great boudoir images, the bed can be removed and the panelled walls can be used as a back drop or in the Tardis out the back where Andrew keeps all his gear there is a free standing bath which can be used

Andrew is a great lighting expert and I have had the privileged to learn some of his lighting techniques over the years,

If you have never shot at Saracen house I would really recommend Andrew and his studio,

he also has some amazing models at his studio doing studio days so keep your eyes open

This is one of my favourite studios and I always love to visit. This was my second time at this venue. Andrew so helpful and lovely man, very easy to communicate with and very friendly!

I had an absolute blast at Saracen House.

I spent a whole day re-acquainting myself with techniques and trying out a few new ones too. Andrew at Saracen had recommended Hannah Lou as a model for the day - a truly excellent recommendation Andrew, thank you :)

Also thank you Andrew for your help and technical advice on the day too - really helped me understand things quite a bit better.

I've used Saracen House a few times now (in both its guises) and Andrew is always friendly, helpful and he makes each shoot tick along very efficiently - nothing is too much trouble.

Andrew is a top chap and Saracen House is a top Studio too!

I honestly cannot recommend Saracen House enough and will definitely be returning.

Another successful shoot at Saracen House in Milton Keynes. I love hiring this studio, as the lighting there is fantastic. Andrew is great with asking what I what to achieve, then showing me the setting up of the lighting to do that. Nice and warm, lots of tea and coffee, in this purpose built studio. I got some great results, so thank you Andrew, for your help. The model, her mum and my MUA, it was their first time there and they all thought that it was a very professional set up there.

I had my first shoot at Saracen House. I knew it was going to be good when I walked in to the studio, and received a warm welcome from Andrew. Andrew showed me around, and I was amazed at the amount of different lighting and modifiers that were available. Andrew was always on hand throughout the shoot to change lighting and and also introduce some fancy accessories. I was going to do a gel set, and Andrew went over and beyond with the set up, which was much appreciated. The images look fantastic.

I will definitely be using the studio again, there are too many options, and sets to try out which I just didn't have time to use.

There is also a nice range of tea and coffee to choose from, and Andrew makes sure you will never go thirsty.

Highly recommended.

I had my first studio weekend at Saracen house this weekend just past! I had visited the studio a couple of times before for events and adored the layout the studio had and the great atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my time at Saracen house this weekend with a group of really nice photographers. Andrew was absolutely lovely and helped incredibly on both days,he is such a pleasure to be around and super chatty which is appreciated! I was also grateful for his ability to make a great hot chocolate which was needed on this icy weekend,it was also really nice to be followed around with a heater.

I could not recommend Saracen house more to both photographers and models! I look forward to hopefully returning in the new year.

My first visit to Saracen House for over a year and as excellent as ever. The studio is warm, clean and well equipped and Andrew is the perfect host - friendly, helpful and welcoming. Hopefully won't be so long until my next visit.

Another great shoot at Saracen House, I was there for a couple of hours with Keira, and just wanted a very simple light set up for the shoot.

Andrew as usual was his usual welcoming self and we had a great shoot achieving some great back of camera shots

This was my first day at Saracen with first Miriam followed by Beth Kate. The support given to me/us was outstanding and Andrew made the full day of shooting a breeze. The remote control studio lightnings made adjustments very easy. The support also included assist with the transport to and from the studio. The praise given by other photografers are well deserved. I warmly recommend this studio. (for a english studio, the coffee was outstanding good - black and strong)

The gorgeous Theresa Louise and I did a creativity workshop at the fantastic Saracen House Studio recently and it really went like a dream.

Saracen House Studio is an awesome place to be creative and is equipped with everything we needed for the workshop and so much more.

Andrew at Saracen House Studio really is the host with the most; he made everyone very welcome and kept everything ticking along when it came to drinks and snacks

Jon Downs and I held a Creativity Workshop at Saracen House and it was by far one of the best we have done.

On arrival Andrew had laid out coffee/tea and biscuits to keep everyone going throughout the day.

So, it's becoming a little bit of an issue to me...

My favourite studio's are always so far away!!!

I love coming to Saracen house, even if I am peer pressured into drinking coffee (eww). Honestly, the best host, the best equipment, the biggest range of backdrops and a really good shop down the road ;) I've never had a bad shoot here really, Andrew makes me laugh even when I'm not having a great day.

Really couldn't recommend highly enough, one of my favourite studios full stop.
