My second time using sanctum and what a venue, love it. This time I shot with two gorgeous young models shooting both fashion and lingerie.

Sanctum offers a unique lighting opportunity to be very creative, plenty of space in the bedroom to get wide shots that really add something to your shots.

Can’t wait to return again. Great comms with the host. Definitely recommend. A++

Sanctum Southampton is a wonderful place to shoot where you are looking for an opulent decadence look, with a bit of kink thrown in.

The decor in the sitting room, stairway, boudoir and bathroom and kitchen are very consistently themed in black, gold and red and the use of mirrors and pole present many photo opportunities.

Lighting can be a little challenging, with the need to mix the red and incandescent lighting with some subtle flash - in retrospect the use of colour adjustable LED lighting or an orange gel on my flash would have been easier.

Highly recommended.

You look at pictures of Sanctum and you think you have an idea of what to expect yet somehow when you're there it's even more spectacular, everything has been thought of there.

If you're after an elegant location for a boudoir shoot, then you really cannot go wrong with Sanctum.

Stunning! Simply stunning.

Whilst the Sanctum is small in size, it more than makes up for it in character and shooting opportunities! The entire place has been put together with such a fabulous eye for detail that it simply cries out to be photographed. We shot for around six hours (it would have been longer, but the threat of rush hour traffic on the M3 & M25 meant leaving earlier than we would have wanted) and didn't even come close to exhausting the possibilities.

Fabulous location, great host & excellent value for money - just wish it was nearer to me so I could shoot here more often!

Wow just wow!

Shot here last month & I've got to say it is one of the most intriguing, decorative and luxurious places I’ve worked in. Just immaculate.

So many amazing images we created in Sanctum, I’m so pleased with what we got from the shoot.

Easy to get to & park at a small cost in the car park opposite.

Definitely recommend!!x

Every bit as sexy as it is classy. Can see this place being a must for many photographers and models alike.

Host were great to, very accommodating and friendly with good instruction on where everything is.

I just had my first shoot with Blink.Southampton at the Sanctum. It is an amazingly decorated space,ideal for boudoir style shoots but also edgy styled shoots. There are so many amazing props that can be used, luxurious bed and sofas. Every detail of this place works perfectly and I am pleased with the outcome of our shoot. I would definitely recommend it :)

I just completed a shoot at Sanctum Studios with Miss Pearl Curl and it was fantastic.

I've had an eye on this place for a while and thought it would provide a great backdrop for a darker themed shoot. The place is decorated to a very high standard and includes an eclectic mix of fixtures and fittings ;-)

We created some great moody boudoir and a few 'shades of grey' images in the lounge and bedroom along with some eerily lit shots on the stairs. It's a great place to find those slightly different images... well until we've all shot there! :-D

It is dark though so take lights or a tripod/steady model (thanks for that Miss PC :-))

Sharon was a great owner/host, very friendly and helpful and prompt to reply to queries beforehand. She showed us around when we arrived and then left us to it until the end of the day.

Parking for one car is available but there is a large open air car park just over the road.

Loved shooting at Sanctum. Highly recommended!!

Had my first shoot at Sanctum yesterday and absolutely loved it. The place is to die for as a shooting location - it is designed impeccably, with no stone left unturned. It is also all done to a very high standard, and has a luxurious feel to it, adding a classy air to any image.

It is very clean, tidy, warm, and offers no end of inspiration! There was so much more we could have shot if we had more time - you get so much for a very reasonable cost when you book here.

Our host was also lovely, she made us feel very welcome, ensured we were well stocked with tea and coffee and allowed us space and time to have the place to ourselves to shoot to our heart's content.

I'd 100% recommend this place and looking forward to coming back soon!!

We were greeted by the lovely Sharon who showed us around and then left us to it.

Had an amazing shoot here at the Sanctum, this place is stunning it's great for so many different styles and has given me images like nothing else in my portfolio.

It's dark and edgy whilst being ornate and glamorous at the same time, there's enough areas to shoot strong powerful looks as well as elegant ones too.

The decor is outstanding and consistent throughout and you can see thought has been put into even the smallest details.

Highly recommend, would love to shoot here again :)

After seeing some of Fran's previous photos at the studio, I knew I wanted to shoot there and was in love with the place upon arrival.

It has such a classy style and luxurious feel to it and the whole interior design is just amazing!

We got some great shots on the day and I would absolutely love to shoot at the Sanctum again. The place really stands out and has it's own unique look.

As a location for a boudoir shoot it is second to none! And Sharon, the hostess, is so welcoming. I felt instantly at ease and ready to set up before my model arrived.

Had a fantastic days shooting at Sanctum Southampton. It’s an amazing space with lots of photo opportunities in the lounge, stairs, bedroom and bathroom with plenty of detail and props. It is dark so you will need plenty of lighting, for which there are ample power points, and a torch will also come in handy, just to make sure you haven’t left anything behind. A very accommodating couple and a great location for dark, kinky, BDSM, boudoir and sultry style shoots. Parking for one car is also very convenient. Look forward to our next visit. :-)

First shoot at Sanctum, and me and Jade had a great shoot playing around in the bedroom. We shot all day just using one room as our location and still had some more ideas but we ran out of time.

The owners were very helpful and professional. They have setup a great location for photoshoots (and good car parking)

The style of the place is soo cool and very different from usual 'hotel' or studio setups its 100% worth shooting.
