simply done but nice

Hello, I’m Jason and have been doing photography as a serious hobby for around 4 years now. I love learning as I go, picking up tips from other photographers and models, experimenting with post-production and being creative and flexible with my shoots. I would like to say I am one of those photographers that is into planning out a shoot – but I am an honest bloke – I don’t plan. Instead I use the spontaneity of the moment and find it works for me, using what is around us, the available light, the atmosphere and character of the location and the model’s selection of outfits/styles.

I like collaboration. Some of the best shoots I've had are those where the model has pushed me out of my comfort zone. Sometimes I need a kick-start, maybe because I am quiet and a little shy, but once the shoot gets going I get into the feel of it, and I hope, give the model some great images. That is one of my goals, to provide model’s with images that make them go ‘Oh wow!’ and they use them in their portfolios. That would be high praise for me.

I hope to be able to hire studio space and find interesting locations for shoots, so feel free to suggest places. I do also enjoy working with an mua on photoshoots, just as much as working one-to-one with a model.

Great images seem to come with open collaboration, so do let me know if there are ideas you want to try out. Working together is the key, creating images you will want to use to show off your talents, as well as mine!
