References for Rod Short Photography

Well, Im not entirely sure how long ago it was since my last shoot with Rod, but it was great to work with him again on my studio day at Studio Fifty Eight. Providing props and outfits, he had a clear idea of what he wanted to create, so it was easy to get into position to capture THE shot. We worked fast (genuinely impressed what we created in our time) and still made time for a catch up!!

I love shooting with Rod! If you haven't yet then you really are missing out! This time Rod and I shot art nude on location which although we had trouble finding,Rod was extremely patient and professional with me. We then attempted doing a milk bath shoot at my home, which although it was a bit cold was great fun and I'm loving the images so far!

Rod it is always a pleasure to work with you! Professional, fun, friendly, as always I look forward to next time!

Had a shoot with Rod and a fellow model on location around Peterborough. This was the first shoot I have had with Rod although having worked at his previous studio with another tog.

As always Rod was easy to work with and had a very chilled comfortable feel to the shoot with no planned shots we just winged it but came up with some unique ideas using what was around us on the day.

Overall a great shoot, happy to work with again and would recommend.

I don't think there is anything I can say about Rod that hasn't been said a dozen times before. He is a wonderful photographer and a perfect gentleman. He's so friendly and polite, with an excellent vision and gives direction well.

I'm so pleased I got to shoot with Rod again and I'm looking forward to the next shoot.

I would definitely recommend Rod. If you get the chance, shoot with him.

Rod and I had our (lost count now!) shoot together at my home, shooting lingerie and art nude looks. As always rod was an absolute pleasure to work with and came prepared with lighting etc. The shoot flew by and again as always I'm looking forward to our next shoot, if you haven't worked with rod yet then I definitely recommend that you do.

Rod and I had another shoot together last week, and once again, Rod arrived on time to pick me up. We had discussed the type of shot we were after, so it was a quick and efficient shoot...good job really due to the freezing temperatures!

Rod ensured my comfort levels at all times, and was the perfect gentleman.

Rod and I had a last minute shoot at my home shooting some art nude, glamour, and lingerie looks. Rod is always a pleasure to work with and each time we work together we have a great time and end up with some fantastic images. Another last-minute shoot for us, this time in the Fenland countryside. Rod knew exactly what type of shot he wanted, so it was a quick and efficient shoot...great as it was an icy cold day!

Rod ensured my privacy and temperature levels were ok at all times. Rod was quick to edit the images, of which I loved.

Had another last-minute shoot with Rod, this time in his pottery shed, and what a lot of fun it was, even though the resulting clay structured ended up resembling a phallic item, so unable to upload the results!

Despite the cold weather, Rod ensured I was warm at all times, keeping me supplied with hot chocolates and even some soup to warm up with after the shoot.

Had an impromptu 2hr shoot with Rod last week, working at lingerie levels. As always Rod was efficient and such a gentleman.

Had another great location shoot with Rod last week at the local nature reserve. The aim of the shoot was to show off my new hairstyle, which Rod has managed to capture very well, despite it being something different for him to shoot.

As always, Rod was great to work with, came up with plenty of ideas despite it being a new location for him, and our shoot flew by.

Rod is always the perfect gentleman, and I'd recommend him to any model.

Had a great shoot with Rod at RAF Upwood last week. This was Rod's first visit to the base, but that didn't stop the creative juices from flowing.

Due to the popularity of the location, Rod was the perfect gentleman in keeping a watchful eye whilst we were doing the nude shoots.

We could have stayed much longer, but time was against us. Thankfully, we are shooting together in this location next week which I'm very much looking forward to.

Had another location shoot with Rod this week. As always with Rod, it was another fun shoot and the time flew by.

Despite a change of plan on the day, Rod took this in his stride, and immediately was able to settle into the new ideas.

I love shooting with Rod...he's very professional, knows how to achieve the images he wants and is such a lovely guy too. Highly recommended.

I have had two long weekend shoots with the lovely Rod.

He is the most creative photographer I've worked with, couple that with being a charming fun gentleman, Rob is the perfect package.

It is a shame his studio is no more, but don't let that put you off.
