References for Rod Short Photography

I shot with Rod for the first time today at Studio Fifty Eight. This shoot has been a long time in the making due to Covid but it was worth the wait.

Rod has so many ideas and has built the new metal cube and constructed the wood cabin set at the studio.

I was a little out of my comfort zone with this shoot but Rod was very patient with me and we got some good shots. The cube requires some arm strength which I do not have but Rod and Andy were both there to offer assistance if I needed them and were complete gentlemen.

I had a great day and am looking forward to our next shoot. Theme already discussed.

I had a shoot with Rod again recently at my studio day at Studio Fifty Eight (which Rod had kindly offered to take me there and back), and the hour really did fly be. As always Rod was a pleasure to work with; professional, fun and friendly, and the photos look fantastic! I would definitely recommend shooting with Rod and look forward to working with him again myself!

Rod and I had another shoot together recently which went brilliantly! I had a bit of an out there idea for our shoot Rod was more than happy to try and I'm so pleased with tje results! As always, it was an absolute pleasure working with Rod we always have a great time and create some fantastic images I would definitely recommend!

Rod and I had our first shoot together again finally! We shot on location so we could maintain social distancing, and got some fantastic fashion and bikini shots by a river near me. It was great to be working with him again it has been far too long! I thoroughly recommend working with Rod as he's such a pleasure to work with, friendly, fun, and professional and the pictures always turn out fantastic too! Very much looking forward to working with Rod again soon!

I run a amateur photography club & I've followed Rod for a while now. I decided to contact Rod to see if he would come along & give a presentation on his work over the years to my club. Although Rod had never done a presentation before he kindly agreed. Rod turned up on the evening well prepared & gave a lovely presentation which my members thoroughly enjoyed.

Had a second shoot with the amazing rod,Rod came up with the idea on our first shoot so Wev been waiting a while and the day finally arrived,Rod had been at the studio early setting up.I am so impressed by how creative Rod is he has a vision and executes it perfectly he’s absolutely amazing with his lighting his direction is excellent,as well as all that he’s a lovely chatty guy with a great sense of humour,I really am excited to c our finished results,Thanku for a lovely afternoon rod

Rod kindly offered to be the first to shoot with me, since I took a break from modelling early last year, to help me get back into the swing of things.

As usual, Rod came fully prepared for the shoot with the required equipment, props and plenty of ideas.

Rod has the creative ability to turn an empty space into something quite dramatic and is just one reason why I've always enjoyed shooting with him.

Rod is professional, respectful, easy to get along with and is a wizard when it comes to creating images. The images I have already received are once again of fantastic quality. I'm always very happy to highly recommend Rod to any other model.

On a personal note, thank you Rod for being willing to do my first return shoot with me. It was great fun and instantly reminded me why I love modelling. I look forward to our next shoot together 😊

Just finished such a fun shoot with Rod today at Studio One in Peterborough. Rod came prepared with all additional lighting and equipment needed and we had a great time shooting several sets while we were there. Rods friendly and professional and I enjoy each and every time we work together and we're also able to get some fantastic images. Would definitely recommend :).

Another fantastic shoot with Rod! This time we shot at my home and covered some lingeries looks with different lighting styles including gels. As always working with rod is so much fun he's a total professional, knows what he's doing, we always have a giggle and able to produce some fantastic images. If you haven't yet worked with rod get him booked in! Definitely recommend and as always looking forward to next time :).

Being completely honest, there is nothing I can say in this reference that I - or any other model or photographer - has said a dozen times before. Rod is a fantastic and skilled photographer with incredible ideas and an eye for a short. A consummate professional, however that doesn't heed his naturally friendly and helpful personality.

I always look forward to these shoots and if you can the chance to model for Rod, or be mentored by him, you should snap his hand off.

Two word summary: highly recommended.

Rod and I recently shot together at my home shooting lingerie, erotic and art nude. As usual Rod was a true professional and so much fun to work with. We always have such a great time working together and always produce some fantastic images. Studio Fifty Eight

Lovely to meet Rod after a few chats on line. Rod is a very experienced photographer and very inventive too with his shots. Rod goes a long way to get the theme and atmosphere of his shot so its all done in camera. Rod is a really nice guy too and communicates really well with his models he is working with. Rod and I had a shoot together recently this time both shooting at Studio Fifty Eight which neither of us had worked at before. Rod as always is so much fun to work with; whenever Rod and I work together we always have such a good giggle, always end up bouncing so many ideas off of each other and the photos always look fantastic. Rod and I had a shoot today and it was so much fun! We went to the beach and shot fashion and found some great surrounding locations to shoot in! I'm so happy with the back of the camera and can't wait to see the results! As always Rod was awesome to work with and I can't recommend him enough, looking forward to next time!

Pre-commas were great. Gave clear direction and allowed any ideas or suggestions I had. Very collaborative.

Definitely be up to shoot with him again in future. Highly recommended!
