Bamboo Pit Viper

Cheung Chau Island, Hong Kong.

My favourite animal in Hong Kong. These nocturnal snakes are very colourful and easy to photograph.

Just bear in mind they are venomous and a bite will put anyone in hospital. So stay out of their strike range!
