I recently modelled for a workshop event for Rick and Ian, and it was a really well organised professional evening. Both photographers are great to work with and friendly and professional.

Rick invited me to be a model at one of his workshops and I was so impressed. He was such a lovely host supplied tea, giggles and a night of fun. He is a true professional and knows exactly what he was talking about. He was on hand the whole night filling people's answers.

The workshop was very well run it went very smoothly and there was some lovely people there. Rick is truly magnificent!

I do hope to come back again soon.

I had the pleasure of being chosen as the model for Rick's Two Light Workshop event last night at his studio, and wow what a great event it was.

First of all it was impressive to see Rick in action. His knowledge is truly wonderful, although I am not surprised as Rick and his great reputation has been known to me and others for many years now.

The workshop was run brilliantly and I really enjoyed the evening. I knew exactly what was required of me thanks to Rick's communications during the shoot. He explains things well and I felt the evening ran really smoothly.

Highly recommended.

Wow let’s not leave it five years again shall we?!

I had the magnificent pleasure of shooting with Rick again at his awesome studio for a full day alongside M-print Digital Imagery :)

Pre comms were just what you needed, links to ideas and images, full moodboard, so I knew exactly what to bring, and Rick picked me up at the station, he was on form all day getting coffees and fresh water, I had brought my own lunch because I’m awkward but Rick still asked ahead of time and on the day if he could get me anything, fan-freaking-tastic host. And when I asked if it would be possible to start the day off with any nude, topless, or lingerie so I could eat later and not worry about bloating he was super accommodating (thank you!).

Throughout the day we shot of variety of fashion, fashion nudes, lingerie, beauty shots, and art nude, from casual to a little fetishy and I’m blown away by the shots and can not wait for the end results!

It was such a fun day, those two are like an old married couple and had me falling about all day! So Rick is still EXTREMELY and HIGHLY recommended by me and I can’t wait to be back!

Rick was excellent in pre shoot communication and also on the day to ensure he got the shots he wanted. His enthusiasm, professionalism shone through and the shoot sailed along. I would recommend Rick to other models and look forward to working with him again

Ahead of the shoot communication was great, with clear information about the shoot and location details etc. this meant I could come well prepared with what was required. Right from the start I felt immediately comfortable with Rick. He knew what he wanted out of the shoot and was able to give good clear direction whilst also being relaxed and informal, a very good skill. The studio itself is well set up and equipped with ample space for model prep and change

I had a photo shooting session with Rick on Saturday and can easily say I spent an amazing and high quality 3,5 hours with him at his studio. Such a professional, enthusiastic, understanding and kind photographer. He knows what he is doing. I`m so glad to meet and work with him. I was booked onto a lighting training day with Richard but I was the only person who signed up for it (people still paying for Christmas is my guess), so Richard gave me various options and I opted for the one to one training.

Richard is a really lovely, lovely person. He's down to earth, friendly and has a great sense of humour. Equally importantly he also really knows his onions when it comes to lighting, shooting people and photography generally.

His teaching methods are top drawer too - checking back you've understood, encouraging all the time and plenty of feedback. He's one of those people that gets everything 100% spot on - he is very professional throughout whilst making one feel so at ease that it's like spending time with a friend ... a very knowledgeable one.

I think Rhianna Grey put it rather well when she said : "Richard is an absolute master of light and his set up and Photography is so precise and immaculate resulting in flawless imagery everytime"

"I can't recommend him enough" and similar platitudes are thrown around with reckless abandon these days but it definitely holds true for this knowledgeable, talented and charming person.

Ehhhm I can't recommend him highly enough.

Oh Rick - buy some better coffee though ;)

Rick put on a workshop at his fabulous studuo on Saturday morning of which I was asked to come down and model. Of course, I gladly said yes! I have worked with Rick on several occasions now and each time it's a super relaxed and fun filled shoot. Rick always brings his great sense of humour and bubbly personality into his shoots/group events and workshops which helps to keep people's spirits up and an enjoyable experience whether in front of behind the camera. His workshops are very scructured and he is an outstanding teacher! He is able to teach clearly and precisely, giving amazing demonstrations of lighting and how to drive your camera.

We then ran the afternoon as a half day studio day which Rick kindly assisted and set up for the photographers who booked on.

Thanks again for having me again and for helping out, and making it an absolutely superb day!

Richard is always a real pleasure to shoot with and there is never a dull moment. Richard has become a very good friend of mine and is always his usual friendly and bubbly self during the shoots, and so always managing to snap away during those moment he eventually makes me crack up. Super sneaky! Haha

Had a great shoot with Rick today, he was so easy to get on with and made me feel comfortable straight away. He had a clear idea of the image he wanted to create and gave great directions.

Plus there was ice cream at the end so what's not to love.

Would definitely recommend you work with him as it's a pleasure.

What a treat! When Kevin Pack offered a shoot in his studio in Manchester not only did I get one amazing photographer, I got two! It was a real pleasure to meet Richard, he is a fantastic photographer with clear ideas and styles, and a great ability to direct as well as work with my kooky posing. I really hope to work with Rich again in the future, on a variety of projects. Very recommended!

Enjoyed a one to one tuition and practical session on flash photography with Rick at his studio earlier today. I'd arranged a session with him to learn more about how to use the speedlite and remote trigger I've bought recently. Rick is easy to learn from, he's friendly, explains things clearly and I practiced a range of flash lighting set ups with his assistance and guidance. It was a very useful learning session for me and as a result I feel better equipped to put the things I've learned into practice in future shoots with models, both on indoor shoots and on outdoor shoots. I'll very likely book further one to one training with Rick in the future. I very highly recommend Rick as a photographer/trainer.

I had a wonderful shoot today with RJ Bradbury, he made me feel super comfortable and welcome. He was very patient with me and knew what we both wanted from the images. He's a perfectionist but in the best way and from what I saw when I was there he took some great shots!

I would definitely recommend working with him as I know I definitely will be arranging another one in the future.
