I had a wonderful shoot with Richard at Natural Light Spaces.

It was the first time we had worked together, but I'm sure it won't be our last! We had a 4 hour shoot and achieved some really amazing shots! There was good communications before and during the shoot. He came with great ideas and we collaborated well and easily.

Richard was very kind and even drove me back to the station afterwards.

Very highly recommended!!!

Working with Richard recently (from U.K to Canada!) was a wonderful, easy going and creative experience. He is great at direction and enthusiastic with all ideas proposed as well, pre comms were especially brilliant and professional and I would happily recommend to any model for a tethered shoot! What a fantastic 4 hours I have just had shooting with Richard at Natural Light Spaces! We may have had to wait 8 months, but it was worth the wait! :)

Richard arrived with a whole bundle of brilliant ideas, and a clear idea of how he wanted to use our time together. He is clearly a skilled and knowledgeable photographer, and pays great attention to detail and nuances with lighting. As a dancer, it was a real treat to work with Richard, as he knew and understood the perfect moment to capture!

Richard was chatty, down to earth and easy going . From the moment we started, I felt completely relaxed, and the whole shoot was effortless.

I absolutely LOVED the images I saw straight out of the camera, and cannot wait to see the finished results!

Thank you Richard, it was truly a pleasure to work with you, and I look forward to working with you again in the future!

I absolutely loved working with Richard for the first time! It was really good to be back working in a studio too! Richard kindly picked me up and dropped me back home as the studio can’t be accessed by train.

When we got to the studio he didn’t rush me and I had time to get ready and it just felt very relaxed and a nice atmosphere from the get go.

I needed some headshots for agency’s and Richard shot them for me with no bother. We worked as a great team and bounced ideas off of each other which in my opinion makes a great collaboration! The shots we got were fantastic and Richards ideas were out of the box!

I am so excited to see more of the images we got that day and hope to work with him again soon!

Richard took part in an assisted remote shoot with myself and J Black Photographic and was a complete joy to work with. Although we only got to meet virtually on this shoot, the experience was still a pleasure - his pre shoot communications were exceptional, providing us with a mood board ahead of the shoot so we could plan outfits, lighting and styling. He answered any and all of my questions promptly which was fantastic!

Richard has a very creative mind and this clearly shows in his photography, paying particular attention to the setting choices and making appropriate changes as we worked with natural light.

He was very polite and professional throughout, highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of shooting with Richard for the first time yesterday at Silkwood studio in Clekheaton.

From initially organising the shoot to meeting Richard on arrival everything ran like clock work

Richard as a photographer is extremely respectful, professional and creative. We covered a variety of sets throughout our session and due to Richard's knowledge and experience within the industry we were able to create some outstanding results.

I was very impressed with the planning and organisation that Richard had put into the shoot, everything ran very smoothly yet it still felt extremely laid back and naturally expressed.

Richard is incredibly professional, reliable and artistic. I would wholeheartedly recommend this photographer to any fellow models and be more than happy to arrange a future shoot.

I had to chance to work with Richard for the first time yesterday, at the Natural Light Spaces.

Richard arrived on time, very well prepared with loads of creative concepts in mind as well as loads of different props and some lighting equipment. That was a 6h shoot based on dance. Richard was also very open to my input. which made the day a real collaboration. I really enjoyed working with him as he takes the time to get the perfect image before to get to the next one. He also brought an iPad screen to display the shoot in real-time, so continual improvements can be made.

At the end of the shoot, I was very pleased with the pictures and what I can say is I'm really looking forward to working with him again!

If you have the chance to work with him, go for it!

Absolutely fantastic first shoot with Richard at Natural Light Spaces! Comms before the shoot were very clear and we had the set focus of dance, movement and some aerial work in mind :)

Richard was all set up and raring to go by the time I was ready to get going again which was fantastic! We started off with some images for his red balloon project, then we moved onto some more ballet and contemporary work (with some implied nude) and finally ended on some hoop :)

Richard was very happy to let me choose outfits and direct posing, but he also supplied lots of great inspiration before and during the shoot! It was very much a pleasure to work with someone with a passion for shooting dance :) He was incredibly appreciative of the skill and energy it takes on dance shoots, so he was very much encouraging me to pace myself and take my time.

Richard had also tethered a laptop to his camera, I LOVE getting instant feedback like this, making it super easy and quick for me to tweak my poses accordingly (and was also a dream for respecting covid rules). I was amazed at so many of the pictures, Richard truly captured my best dance lines. We even had an experiment with the hoop work, while Richard has a lot of experience with shooting aerial, he had never tried the particular set up we had and I think we made some great art here :)

All in all, Richard was absolutely wonderful to work with. He made for an incredibly enjoyable and creative shoot- what a lovely way to spend the afternoon :) I would absolutely jump at the chance to work with him again (especially considering we are down the road from eachother!)

Richard came to my studio day at Hallam mill during my visit to Manchester and he was an absolutely pleasure to work with! His pre shoot communications were perfect and he sent over a mood board of images for ideas which was great.

He had a fabulous concept of a red ballon and I think we created some amazing images! He even tethered the laptop so I could see the images we were creating which was very useful especially with social distancing.

We went through a few dance sets and the ideas were flowing you can see how passionate he is with great ideas! It was a very good shoot and I’m looking forward to seeing the results

I had a great shooting with Richard in the Natural Light Studio. What is a great place to use aerial silks and hoop.

We enjoyed the shooting even though we worked really hard!

It was so creative to work with him, Richard is very talented, he had great ideas and conceptions and his eyes are so good for the pictures!

We had lot of different series and I was very happy with the results!

I hope we can shoot together in the future.

I had an amazing first shoot with Richard, working on images for his Aerial project. We had lots of fun playing with creative ideas using my trapeze skills and then did some acrobatic floor work.

I had a wonderful shoot with Richard at Silkwood Studios . Richards pre communications were brilliant . On the day I did have some train issues that meant I was delayed but Richard was very calm about it , and understanding .

Richard shared with me some ideas and listened to mine so that we had an idea of what we wanted to shoot . With our combined ideas and team effort I think we got some stunning shots and a varied number of sets . Shooting tethered was also great as we could see the results coming in . Richard enabled me to have plenty of breaks too :)

I had a wonderful first shoot with Richard at Natural Light Spaces a few days ago. Pre shoot comms were absolutely spot on and the shoot was quickly and effortlessly booked! We met on a bitterly cold day in a wonderfully light and airy space.. so yes.. it was rather nippy! Richard was really conscientious about keeping me warm, there was plenty of coffee and breaks and we powered through so many different sets. Richard is lovely company and very laid back. Definitely recommended and I hope we can shoot again in the not too distant future.

Richard is a wonderful person to work with!

His communication before, and during the shoot was great. When I arrive at the studio for the shoot on the day we sat and chatted, planned out the shoot so we knew exactly what we were setting out to achieve on the day.

We started off with some sensual, classical nudes, we did some bendy nudes, reclining poses and all sorts. In the end, we were not able to fit in all the ideas because Richard had so many which is a good thing because he is never short of creative inspiration. The pictures looked fantastic on the back of the camera, I am looking forward to seeing the final edits.

I enjoyed being in Richard company during the shoot, he has a nice, laid back attitude and he has a lovely positive approach.

Given the chance, I would most definitely work with him. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Richard photographed me at the trio event I modelled at along with Ivory Flame and Nicole Raynor at Atlas Studios in Bolton the other day. It had been a few years since we'd worked together and I have to say he is an absolutely pleasure to model for. He's very considerate and courteous and when combined with talent this is a killer combination in my opinion. I hope it won't be so long until we get together again.
