References for Ray Edits

I recently put out a casting call requiring the help of a re-toucher for some old photos I have that needed editing. Ray Edits edits did a wonderful job. He has given the photo an extra boost, to make it more appealing to the eye rather than just a raw image. He has incorporated his own style, the colours absolutely pop, and it looks so much better than it did before :) I would definitely recommend others to work with Ray :)

for me it all started with this kind gentleman offering free edits here on purple port , my daughter is always on my case to edit for her , so i sent 2 photos to Ray , they were a knockout with my daughter , we decided to hire Ray for 10 more edits , Ray is a pro , very good pre comms explaing everything , and kept to the timings he gave me . i highly recommend Ray for editing .

After what can only be described as an emotional week, with the passing of my mother-in-law, i was left with an image that my Wife and daughter wanted for the funeral, this image was not the best quality (scanned copy only) and needed tidying up.

Ray Kindly offered his skills to see if he could assist me with this, after showing my family the finished results, the look and emotion on there faces where enough, No words needed, Thank you Ray for your work on such an important subject

Ray kindly did some edits for me and I was blown away in both the speed on which he produced them and in the quality of the final edits.

I gave Ray my extremely brief idea of what I was trying to achieve and he took that and smashed it :) both myself and the model love the images, this is the first time I've asked someone else to edit my images and it won't be the last time I commission Ray to do some edits :).

After seeing the quality of Rays work I booked him to present some online Photoshop training for my photography group.

The session went extremely well, Ray explains things very clearly and has a great knowledge of Photoshop techniques. I had some great feedback from my members following the session, and I can highly recommend Ray as a very knowledgeable Photoshop editor.

What a professional Ray is, communication was superb from start of my initial enquiry to the final edits. Ray did a superb job of editing out some difficult backgrounds and tidied up the backgrounds to merge in with my main point of view for the photos.

Although I own a copy Photoshop on license I had never used it as I felt Lightroom easier to get of with. After asking Ray Edits to edit 5 average portrait shots of mine and he returning 5 superb images, I thought it was time to understand PS.

Being rather old in the tooth now and not that quick with modern technology I approached Ray regarding some tuition. Ray pointed out although he had never taken on training before was prepared to give it a go.

I've got to say I thoroughly enjoyed three hours of training with Ray, taken totally at my speed and everything explained in layman's terms. I can now import, export images, I understand how to use layers, and use a few of the adjustment tools.

Ray is such a nice person, easy to get along with, excellent at PS editing, and a first class trainer. Ray Edits comes highly recommended

I dropped the ball a bit on lighting a shot. I would have discarded it, but the model liked the pose. I contacted Ray to see if there was anything he could do.

He responded quickly, discussed what I wanted from the result, and gave me a time he would have it done by.

Ray delivered as promised. I feel a bit sorry for Ray as I think he gets asked to rescue shots that photographers have got wrong. Maybe I'll send him a shot I haven't got wrong some time!
