Before meeting John, I had already done two other photo shoots, I was not satisfied with the results and felt that he was not up to it. When I met John and made an shoot with him for my first professional shoot, I was surprised how much he was interested in me, what I like and what I don't like, how much he wanted to keep in touch with me before the shoot and help me with all the preparations. He replied to all my messages very quickly, I didn't have to worry about anything because he wrote me everything in detail. John is a very warm and professional man. He devotes himself to his work and you can feel that he does it out of passion. During the session I was not stressed at all, I had a lot of fun and the effects of the work are amazing. He keeps in touch with me all the time and supports me in my further development. I am very happy to have met him and I can't wait to see him again. I recommend John to everyone with a clear conscience

I have shot with John twice now. After our first shoot I thought I'd never get any better photos. Well, he's proved me wrong.

John is incredible to work with. He leaves the shoot theme and ideas completely up to the model. He left me in complete control over what I wanted the shoot to be like and helped me to achieve that effect during the shoot by directing me towards my goal. This was super helpful. I have really grown as a model because of John, helping me really pay attention to detail as I am posing. So I not only go home with incredible shots, but with new skills too.

I feel so confident after our shoot!! I highly recommend John.

Saturday 2023-01-21 - Palendromic Shoot - Studio Three Zero - Portraiture

My first meeting and shoot with Palendromic (reference supplied on her PurplePort site) and now my third visit at Studio Three Zero. John the owner had organised the event and is always available to set up the studio lighting and assist in every way possible.

Disaster - I chose to travel light with only one camera body and suffered a camera malfunction. John saved the day by kindly allowing me the use of his camera body instead. The result an amazing result that quite honestly totally proud of.

The Studio is fully equipped and well run. John goes by the handle JR2 is an amazing photographer in his own right. I have nothing but praise for this my local studio, and fully recommend it to all photographers at every level.

I have loved every visit and the support given. John thank you - until the next visit.

John has for the full package. He's not only a wonderful photographer but also a respectful, fun, inspiring, thoughtful, trustworthy, and helpful one.

I loved our shoot from start to finish. John has got a great eye for detail and he helped me build up confidence at the start of my career. He made me feel extremely comfortable and creative. I've only seen a couple of photos from the shoot so far and they are amazing, but I don't even care about them as much as I do about the fun time I had when John was shooting them.

John's communication is excellent, he advised me exactly where to meet him and he picked me up to drive to the studio, he even asked which sandwich I wanted for lunch and provided it.

I would 100% recommend John.

Had my first Shoot with John on Monday and had an amazing time from start to finish. John was professional yet very friendly and welcoming. We had a good chat and a coffee before we got started. The studio was well equipped and had lots of props, outfits etc. We had great communication prior and everyone had great ideas that we put into action to get some incredible shots! Another amazing shoot with JR2 at StudioThreeZero.

John as always treated me with the utmost respect and created stellar images.

Pre-shoot communications are made the most of with John as he is so attentive to allow for ideas, styling and travel plans to be discussed.

John presented shoot ideas and developed some of my own with the expertise of what makes a great image. Styling was a shared element of the shoot, John has a keen eye on what creates a striking image right down to the details.

Behind the camera, John gave enough direction for me to know what posing and angles were creating the best shots.

The results honestly speak for themselves! I've already received the final images, and I don't have a single image from this shoot that I don't like. They are completed to a very high degree of workmanship.

I can't sing John's praises high enough for the respect he provides, to the amazing studio he runs, to the unbelievable images he creates.

John is a very professional and caring photographer and he always looks after the models. My first time to work with him together but I felt super relaxed and comfortable with him as he always wants to bring out the beauty of models according to the models wishes, he never push models do anything they not like. And the communication before the shooting, during the shooting and after the shooting is excellent.

And the studio is nice and clean and got different rooms like changing rooms, two other shooting rooms well equipped. Highly recommended !

I had an absolutely fantastic portfolio shoot with John. Communication was easy from the get-go and he let me choose the direction to go in for the shoot as we discussed what we wanted to get out of it.

John himself is a really chatty, super-friendly and considerate guy who puts you at ease straight away! I think the two of us could make friends with a brick wall, so it was a good pairing!

John knew what he wanted for the shots and gave great direction when needed which was very much appreciated.

John got some absolutely stunning shots and was able to give me the final edits within 24 hours which is unbelievable!

Couldn't be happier with how the shoot went and really looking forward to working with him and StudioThreeZero again!

I got in touch with John as I was eager to shoot with him as I was looking to get some portrait shots for my portfolio, I’ve always loved his images and I knew he would be able to capture exactly what I was looking for.

Communication from the get go was fantastic, John was very clear on what would be happening during the shoot and we discussed ideas back and forth - he made it clear that he wanted the shoot to be beneficial for my portfolio which made me want to work with him even more! John was easy to talk to pre-shoot; very polite and professional.

On the day of the shoot John was kind enough to pick me up from the train station and also got me lunch (always appreciated :) ). He is easy going and a lot of fun, and I could tell how passionate he is about photography; he has wonderful ideas and his directions are clear on what he’s looking to achieve.

I have received the images back already which is appreciated and I’m absolutely in love with them, so much so that I shed a tear when looking at some of them! John has managed to give me so much confidence with these images as looking at portraits of myself is something I have always struggled with. However, John’s images have made me see myself in a different perspective and I can honestly say that the shots he got are some of my favourite images I have received in my 5 years of modelling.

I would absolutely recommend John to anyone looking to work with him, he’s such a professional and made me feel at ease throughout the shoot. I really hope we work again in the future, I’m itching to get back to his studio (StudioThreeZero) already!

Was great returning to studio to work with John again second studio shoot with him and he just makes me feel so relaxed and enjoy the shoot he always helps with positions and is so friendly and I like how he always makes sure us models are happy with the images he is capturing on his camera during shoot he takes his time and likes to get the right looks and lighting and make sure it all looks good he takes his time to correct things if he thinks they don’t look right or good and I really like that and just doesn’t take the picture anyway as iv said many times love johns work he a great guy and makes you feel great with his images always gets your pics too you pronto and I appreciate that , thanks again John and highly recommend John amd the studio
