I had contacted Aurora Spengel (PoeticMinx) before the shoot, and was totally amazed at the dedication and love she has for what she does. Her enthusiasm and the kind support of Synergy Photographic Studio made it all possible for the shoot today and for me a dream come true.

Aurora is amazing and in real life incredibly beautiful. I found her very easy to work with and very creative. Self driven and very confident she never complained. She is instinctively creative and a real joy to work with; and produces the most creative poses and movement I have yet seen, with knowing my direction is towards Pure Art, she worked towards that end.

We covered from Portraiture, several dress changes, to Steam Punk influence, and to Full Nude, and she worked tirelessly throughout. Soft lighting, my personal preference was used throughout, and she did not need direction to make the best use of this either.

The shoot was a one to one, and Aurora had no issues of the props supplied by me, or Studio, and even came up with suggestions, and also impulsive poses to best result. This is a gorgeous and very positive thinking, and talented, young lady and I loved working with her, and hope to do again. She moves on, with my highest and best recommendation. I absolutely adore this lady and her no nonsense approach and enthusiasm to photographic modelling.

And Aurora, I am glad we met for that brief moment in time, and look forward to when we can meet again.

Female Art Nudes

Great pre-communications from Aurora led to me booking a very last minute apartment shoot with her in Edinburgh.

She was waiting outside when I arrived and offered to help me with carrying equipment, even though this wasn't required.

Once inside, we discussed possible shoot locations then, without any further encouragement from me, Aurora promptly shed her clothes and asked me where I wanted to start! I've never had a model appearing so keen to shoot :-)

Aurora provided pose after pose, made sensible suggestions about shot composition and acted as if she was powered by Duracell - she simply kept going and going.

All in all, a really enjoyable shoot, only let down by the inability of the photographer to keep up with the powerhouse that is the Poetic Minx!

The weather was chilly but she did her thing with no complaint and was a joy to work with. Very easy going, took directions and totally nailed every shot. We had a very enjoyable morning.

I just finished a fantastic photo session in my home studio with Poetic Minx and Fanny. The two had just met each other for the first time but worked amazingly together as a team (and with me, too). Both are very friendly as well as extremely creative, bringing a lot of energy to a photo session - and a lot of laughter, as well, which is always welcome. There were so many times when they'd get into great poses and I would just have to say "Stop! That's perfect!"

I use film, so I have not seen the images yet, but needless to say, I look forward to doing so with great anticipation, and I highly recommend both of these young ladies.

AN absolute Star, we shot a mix of fashion and art nude on location and at my place. We shot most of this at a local castle ruin high up in the remains of the gate house on what proved to be a bright but very chilly morning.

Aurora worked very hard in cold and sometimes precarious conditions to give me the shot i was looking for her input was very useful with posing excellent creating some very beautiful, interesting and artistic shapes.

I can thoroughly recomend Poetic Minx as a hard working, dedicated, tallented and Beautiful model and a very nice person too.

When they made poetic minx i think a design fault occurred that day as this particular model was at the end of the queue when it came to giving out sanity and unfortunately,there was a worldwide shortage for that on the day as well.But to be fair they broke the mould and something unique formed and wow is this model special and amazing compared to some of the rest mass-produced.

Minx is incredibly easy to work with, fantastic make up, amazing expressions, stunning look, and is several boxes of frogs full of personality in a great and loveable way that unless you have the personality of a dried prune yourself you cannot fail to get along with.

Our shoot was at pathways in chester and we had lots of laughs shooting low keylight in fishnets high heels and an egg chair as well as tying to a standard chair also(only way to keep minx still lol).We also did some classic lowkey art nude also in the 2 hrs and as ever with this one you cannot fail to get fantastic shots.

If you have a dull and boring shoot with this amazing model, it's not because of poetic minx i can assure you.Thanks again for a great shoot and i await your return in spring for some more wonderful creativity mixed with such lively enthusiasm and great modelling ability too..See you soon take care until our paths cross again Stu x

What an epic model Aurora is!

I had wanted to work with Aurora for quite some time so when my local studio hosted a studio day for her I booked a 2 hour shoot. Just before she arrived at the studio the owner mentioned that there had been a cancellation so I extended the shoot by an hour which turned out to be a really good choice.

She arrived on time (had stayed at the studio owners the night before) had a huge selection of outfits to choose from and was ready to shoot very quickly. Her modelling skills are absolutely fantastic, posing naturally and needing little if any direction. She is very involved in the process of getting the best images possible, looking at the rear of camera shots and suggesting ways to improve for both herself and the photographer. I consider her to be a top quality model, she has great expressions, great poses and great ideas. I highly recommend booking a shoot with Aurora, I certainly intend arranging another, sooner rather than later.

I was expecting a lot and my expectations were well exceeded! Had a superb shoot with magnificent Aurora, which was both very productive and damn good fun. She's very skilled and has a high level of creativity along with a refreshing amount of craziness :) On top of that Aurora is totally reliable and professional in her attitude, and seriously works her socks off. Really looking forward to her returning to my studio in the not too distant future and shooting some more. Highly recommended by me.

Had a great shoot with aurora at the Factory on Saturday. Good pre shoot comms and lots of energy working through a number of themes on the day. Aurora worked hard to get the shot I was looking for and wanted to ensure that the end result was achieved. Hard working and a lot of fun - highly recommended :)

Ah, the Poetic Minx, Empress of Dolls. That's a reference (within a reference) to one of our sets. Having worked with Minx before I know she'll inspire me to shoot better and weirder. If I fail with the former the reason (and silver lining) is possibly too much laughter. Aside from the sheer enjoyment of collaborating with her Poeticness the lady can model and knows a thing or too about the other side of the lens, should her expertise be desired. Get a bit of Minx in your 'folio.

It went smooth and spontaneous.

Aurora is easy to communicate with and has a positive vibe around her.

In three hours we did five sketches and some photos.

The one I've posted here we both liked the most.

I definitely would like to work with her again and recommend her for both beginner or professional.

What a wonderful and crazy (in the best sense of this word) experience working with PoeticMinx... Pre-communication was excellent and we were able to sort out date/time for shoot. She was there right on time!

The shoot was an experience and lots of fun. We created some really great images and piece of art. She is just full of so many amazing ideas and using every available thing as a prop :)

Poetic Minx is awesome! Fun to shoot with, fantastic posing, on time, put up with 2 hours of body paint and an hour of washing it off for an hour of photography, she's a trooper, got some fun shots!

An attractive young lady was queuing on the other side of the train station exit barrier - she looked up, I smiled, she smiled back and from then on the smiling never stopped.

PoeticMinx is just beautiful with the curviest of physiques and the laid back easy going nature that make working with her so easy and just so much fun. She told me she was willing to work her 'A' off to get good images - I held her to her word and the back of my camera started smiling as well.

We moved from studio to pool - Miss Minx perspired, she got sopping wet, she left exhausted and that smile never deserted her. I am now working the images and my smile has returned.

I will work with this lovely model again and every photographer should . . .

First shoot with PoeticMinx, sought after being impressed by her work. Pre-shoot communications excellent and also fabulous on the shoot. PoeticMinx proved a delightful collaborator, we discussed then executed a number of sets in what could have been challenging high temperatures. PoeticMinx impressively expressive and striking in her poses,(without but also with if needed) direction. In addition to being a model I wish to continue to work with, PoeticMinx is also highly entertaining. I will also never view tomatoes the same again! Highly recommended.
