Gluttony....one of the 7 Deadly Sins

I had the fabulous opportunity to finally work with real confectionary in a makeup creation based and inspired by one of the 7 Deadly sins, Gluttony. I had always wanted to create a look with real icing after my makeup artist heroine, Alex Box created something along these lines. For my look I chose a plus size model and created a candy coloured full boufont wig full of hand made, fake cup cakes and cake toppers. The makeup was inspired by Alex Box and Gareth Pughs 2013 catwalk look with silicone eyebrows that I created and coloured myself. The makeup was all candy colours and then we come to the pink and orange icing, which was poured from the models chin, down her neck and onto her chest, to represent the Gluttony desire for the cake mix and cake toppers were added for extra colour and texture. I then created exceptionally long nails, wired into the models fingers and covered in confectionary to add to the Glutonous theme. I am also doing a photo shoot this week where I will be creating all of the seven deadly sins in a high fashion, Avante Garde manner with Aerlise and Jurgen Jochim...watch this space....
