Had an amazing shoot with Mike at Carl Grims Boudoir lighting workshop. Pre-comms were excellent Mike was a gentleman,fun and creative. It's safe to say that Mike and I hit it off straight away! Mike booked Retro Rob and myself for a duo shoot at our studio day at F/8 Studio and I am so thrilled that he did!

We all got on like a house on fire and there was lots of humour and fun during our shoot - plus we created some awesome images!

Mike is a talented photographer and thoroughly enjoyable to work with. I really like his energy and enthusiasm and the two hours just flew by. I said to Rob that I really hope we both get the opportunity to work with Mike again as his a creative and professional photography with a fantastic eye for a good shot and also a lovely guy.

What an awesome shoot I had with Mike at F8 Studios on another Retro Rob and Melany Tour.

This was my first time working with Mike and definitely won't be my last Mike came full of energy and enthusiasm that just added energy to the shoot and coupled with a great sense of humour well the pictures speak for it awesome!

I had a fantastic shoot with Mike today at my apartment, he is a really charming man and a great photographer. I had a lot of fun during the shoot and sharing some mutual love for sigma lenses :) I saw his work external to purpleport and I really love his images of nature and lifestyle photography. He is very respectful and I really liked what I saw from the back of the camera. We shot a variety of art nude and lingerie by the window and creating some coffee scene images by the kitchen with the lovely morning light. I really look forward to seeing the outcome of the images. I highly recommend him to models alike and I hope to work again soon with him in the future :)

You know when you just 'click' with some people? Well Mike was one of those

I shot with him last Sunday on my studio day at f8 in Gloucester, he was my first shoot of the day.

Unfortunately he realised he'd misplaced or lost his glasses which meant he couldn't clearly see the back of camera shots or the tethered images he'd planned to shoot too. So Alley offered to go get him some whilst we shot, instead we sat talking about photography/models/studios etc and we both seemed to feel very comfortable in one anothers company and we were already starting to talk about another shoot when I said to Mike 'You haven't even really taken a proper picture yet'. Haha that's certainly the sign of a great working relationship.

Sadly Alley couldn't get any glasses so Mike had to 'wing it' and hope for great results. I helped where possible to slight lighting suggestions and offered up complimentary posing for the setup. We captured some lovely images and have already booked in another shoot. I am so looking forward to the next one already

I had a wonderful shoot with Mike at my home on a 1:1 tuition day with myself and Adrian Crook.

Mike was a pure pleasure to work with, lovely guy wanting to expand his photography knowledge. I found Mike to be professional, easy going,well mannered and fun.

The shoot just flew by and we got some super images from the session :)

The Gym

Mike came along to our very first opening event, a weekend with 8 models over 2 days, and was one of our photographers, and what a wonderful addition to the team. Amazing communication, great rapport with all the models and photographers, fabulous images, and a great personality. 100% highly recommended from “The Gym” to any models, studio, photographer, workshops etc. 5 star photographer, 1st class gentleman. Thank you Mike, looking forward to working with you again.

Mike was great to work with at "The Gym's" fitness workshop. He was relaxed and easy to talk to, and had plenty of ideas to work with. Before the workshop he got in contact which was really nice, so there was a little rapport there already.

In shoot, Mike was super easy to work with, and while he was learning his lighting, we were able to play around with the ideas he had, and his direction to fine tune everything was fab.

Can't wait to see the shots from the day!

All I can say, is WOW In so many amazing ways, Mike is a dream to work with, in every way imaginable. Mike came to our new weekend studio space, “The Gym” for our very first fitness event, and what a fabulous team member Mike was. His communication pre-shoot was faultless, we discussed his previous photography journey, and got to know each other really well, before the event, so by the time he arrived on the day, it was like meeting an old friend, in a truly positive way.

From start to finish, Mike was really amazing with the models, he directed brilliantly, and also allowed the models to do their thing, on the Gym equipment too. We had great fun playing with different lifting set ups, low key, gels, high key, bodyscapes etc. Mike got the full range in and covered, with some truly stunning images, the models all complimented how lovely he was to work with, all the photographers also commented on what a lovely guy he was, how easy to get on with, and a really good laugh. We had a fantastic day, and I’m truly excited to watch Mikes photography journey evolve, in model photography, I can see him going really far, with such a positive persona, and great imagery, the sky’s the limit. Thank you Mike for being such a dream to work with, and thank you for all your bookings over the coming months. Best wishes Alley.
