Derek is so precise about his work. Prefers to get everything spot on before taking a million images.

He's absolutely fantastic at giving direction and styling a model.

Chatty, friendly, professional and extremely respectful.

Worked with Derek for the first time today at Snowdrop Studio. He's a fantastic, professional photographer and is extremely organised and creative. Communications were brilliant and he even set up moodboards on the style we planned to shoot. Highly recommended to all and hope to shoot with Derek again in the future! :)

Derek contacted me regarding a different type of shoot - he required he use of the new kitchen set up. Derek managed to shoot a gazillion different spices, condiments and Indian tableware for a commercial shoot. As usual, derek knows exactly what he is after and gets its done in super quick time. A firm favourite to have at the studio, highly recommended as usual and the house smells divine - see you again soon disco champ :0)

First time modelling for Derek, absolutely amazing work, well planned location and shoot, during the shoot easy and comfortable, professional instructions and easy to follow ideas. we had 6 hrs shoot with 5 looks and different set ups and although I have seen 1 edited pic only and many during the shoot to get the best shot :) could not wait till they all get edited and ready for exposure, I can say I am very pleased with the result, very productive and positive shot day. I would love to work with Derek again and hopefully will soon.

Had a great shoot with Derek the other day .. he was very friendly and helpful and even picked me up from the station to help me get to the studios. I had my first shoot with Derek this weekend and it was fantastic! I truly believe we captured the images we set out to. Derek is a very kind and genuine gentleman and we actually had far more in common than I thought possible in a first meeting.....

Derek was specific in the pre comms, so we both new the structure to the shoot and props to search out. Derek collected me on time and drove us both in to London. Having a good hour in the car to get to know each other before the shoot was perfect. Derek catered to every whim and I would most definitely work with him again. I provided Derek with some tuition and assistance today. Derek is passionate about photography and crafting images. He shows a good flare for understanding light. We worked with a great model and Derek's interaction with her was superb. Derek is a great photographer and in my opinion models would feel at ease shooting with him and enjoy working with him.

The lovely Derek, contacted me this week regarding booking myself and my studio as the base for his tutorial with Gareth of Bucksheadshot. He arrived early and we had a cuppa and a good old natter, Derek is a fabulous photographer and a blinking lovely fella. I very much look forward to working with him again in the near future. The wonderful Derek arrived ready for his tutorial at my studio. The whole process has got to be the easiest/quickest and most professional booking I have experienced in the 8 years I have been shooting. This in itself shows pure quality, none of this table tennis texting. With two emails, it was booked in. The images that Derek too were sublime, the lighting techniques used were spot on. Highly, highly recommended and I look forward to shooting again with this lovely fella very soon

What a wonderful experience! We had an appointment at my hotel, we talked about twenty minutes to find out what we expected each of this collaboration and then .... The magic of the camera and talent did the rest. Derek is very nice you immediately feel with a friend and safe. Do not hesitate to work with him. I'll do it again when he wants to ... And when I'm in London again...of course.

Second shooting with Derek and again almost six hours of work ... and a few coffees. But again, it was very friendly, and very professional. A series "boudoir and glamor" resulting from a very relaxed collaboration. The place was conducive to imagining different atmospheres..Great !

The 6 hours we had flew by really quickly and we created some great images that I am super pleased with!
