I was absolutely delighted to be cast in the role of ‘Joan’ in Carry on (Again) Camping! I love working with Gino. He organises such brilliant shoots including large themed ones like this. He is very well prepared, knows what he wants, communicates with everyone and then pulls it off on the day (with a few twists). Gino is full of energy and enthusiasm which is infectious. He also has a great team around him who also work hard to make the shoots a success. Gino’s photos are fabulous and everyone, whatever their role, gets to shine. The photographs were available in an album the day after the shoot and covered 20 scenes based on the original film! Amazing! Thank you so much for letting me a part of it Gino. I look forward to working with you again. Highly recommended!

Well what can l say about this man that hasn't already been said. It is always a joy to work with Gino, his ideas and enthusiasm plus his energy never cease to amaze me. This was a big shoot with lots of people playing charactors from "Carry on Camping" and Gino somehow managed to keep everyone happy. A true professional and a really nice man.

What a joy during this summer !!! The irrepressible Gino's Carry On Camping was yet another fabulous shoot. Of course he made sure the shoot was meticulously planned and the shoot progressed seamlessly. I could not believe how we managed to get through so much work in such a short time. When Gino asked me to play the part of Barbara Windsor in his latest Carry on Camping shoot I was so delighted and just knew I had to put my all into it as Gino always puts so much time and effort into his themed group shoots to make them so much fun for everyone involved. This was no exception and I was honoured to have been asked to play such a great role!

If you haven't been to one of Gino's themed group shoots yet, you're honestly missing out as they are like no other group shoot I've been to which is why I regularly volunteer to come along to them. Such great fun, always full of lots of laughs and he plans them out so well that he knows exactly what he wants to achieve, although there's always some kind of twist to them somehow of course!!

Thank you for having me along for such a funny morning shoot, and I'm already looking forward to the next one!! :D

After joining Purpleport recently I was invited to my first event that was organised by Gino Cinganelli. The theme was 'Carry on Camping' and I was kindly given a small role as the man on the gate to the camping site. Being as this was my first role I had no idea what to expect and I a little nervous.

What a first collaboration! The first thing that strikes you is the scale, then the numbers of people and finally the number of sequences being shot. I arrived to find people erecting tents, and banging in boards and untangling their wardrobes for various scenes. The main characters had already been agreed and they were all wearing memorabilia that instantly identified who they were playing in the iconic scenes. What really comes across is peoples eagerness to be involved and the sense of fun being enjoyed by everybody. The atmosphere really put me at ease.

Despite appearances the scene was completely organised I began to notice people were very familiar with each other, it turns out that these grand shoots are not something new. In fact they are common place! I began to discover that once you do one shoot you will be eager to collaborate on any and all events that are coming up! Gino's partner in crime Kathy Hodges refers to everyone as a family and she speaks with a real warmth that instantly gives you comfort. She wasted no time introducing me to a number of the cast members and rattled off a list of other shoots that had been successfully completed. Everyone was so friendly and I began to really enjoy myself.

Whilst I began to get to know everybody Gino wasted no time in setting the various scenes. He is a clinical, no nonsense Director who has clearly planned each scene and has memorised the shoots in great detail. His prompts were very clear and he explained what he wanted in detail. Everybody involved followed his instructions and looked to enjoy the whole experience as it unfolded and what on paper looked like a difficult task was executed with comparative ease. The 4 hour shoot was completed early and the photo's were released inside of a day. No mean feat when we are talking about a shoot with several hundred stills being taken.

I hope anyone considering being apart of a fun collaboration would consider contacting Gino he executed this shoot with a permanent smile on his face and genuinely made my first experience a joy. Thank you Gino and as predicted I would like to request you consider me for your next project!

Today I had the huge pleasure of being involved in one of Gino's legendary group shoots. The theme was Carry On Camping and as always Gino's attention to detail was amazing. So many scenes recreated from such an iconic film. This time I was in front of the camera and acting a part. It was so much fun to be involved with such a talented group of people. Gino's work is incredible and his energy and enthusiasm is wonderful. It was such a fun morning and I can't wait to see the results. Thank you for involving me Gino. I'm already looking forward to the next one!

Once again what an incredible photographer Gino Cinganelli is. I have worked with him a few times now and I always have a good time and he produces great images. The last one being based on the film Carry on Camping was a fun and professional shoot. Can’t wait for the next one I’m included on.

What can i say about Gino that hasn't been said a 100 times?

Every shoot i attend with him seems to get better each time and this one had it all, the guy is a pure genius and such a lovely person with it, he gathers together a awesome cast of people and seems instantly to know who will fit in where, he has such amazing enthusiasm together with a infectious charm that makes everyone want to give their best and he captures the most incredible images.

These shoots are never work, they are spending time with a brilliant crowd of people who make everyone feel welcome, friends, old and new give encouragement to even the shyest of newcomers and we all keep coming back because we know Gino will deliver the goods yet again and have a amazing time into the bargain.

I have to add that he does all this with the aid of a brilliant team around him and everyone of them deserves a mention as they are all stars.

If you get the opportunity to work with Gino grab it with both hands because you will have the best time ever.

Top of my recommendations list.

After not working together for about 3 months or so due to lockdown I have had the pleasure of working with Gino twice in the space of a couple of days. Firstly on a lavender/sunset shoot Stephanie Sceal organised and although when we got there the lavender had mostly been harvested we still managed to get some gorgeous images and the one image I have seen so far is possibly my favourite shot that myself and Gino have ever created together!!

The second being a sunrise shoot at Botney Bay this morning at 4am (I know we must be mad!) and although he did (as usual) get me to go in the sea, it was totally worth it and we as always have a good laugh so it makes it a lot easier to endure!

It's been fantastic to work with Gino again after so long, we have worked together more times than I can count and therefore when we do work together the shots just work so well and the ideas just come to life. Gino is always full of crazy ideas and I'm already looking forward to the next crazy shoot, until next time and thanks again for a couple of fab shoots!! :D x

I have had the pleasure of working with Gino twice so far and both times have had so much fun shooting with him. The first was a film scenario shoot with just over 40 people involved and improv acting. Gino has some fantastic ideas, very professional in what he does and his energy and enthusiasm is second to none. The second shoot I have worked with Gino on was a beach shoot with an early morning start to catch the sunrise. The images produced were beautiful and Gino is very easy to work with to get the shot in mind.

100% recommend, I do hope to work with Gino again!

I have had the wonderful chance to be involved in Gino's 2021 calendar which he kept a surprise til I was shown the outfits on the day...I thought I'd worked it out but nope! It was brilliant :]

Albeit a short shoot we managed to cover several looks with bits I'd bought along and it was great being back in the studio having some fun!

Gino's energy and ideas are fantastic and I look forward to the chance to work with on other projects. Highly Recommended, Thankyou

The level of organisation and passion Gino puts in to getting these shoots is unreal, it is always so much fun, and I always learn something new. I spent the day hanging on the side of a beautiful vintage car, brandishing a Tommy Gun. This is not a bad way to spend a life!

An excellent calendar shoot at Rochester Studios with Gino. Of course he makes sure it was beautifully planned and fully COVID compliant. The shoot was over all too quickly due to the excellent planning. I wish I could have stayed longer, but sadly COVID didn't allow. Thank you Gino !!

I really enjoy working with him, he has so much energy and his imagination... well what can I say, only that if you haven't worked with him and you have a chance to, grab it with both hands. Worked with Gino yet again and my first time since lockdown started, this time it was for a "Very Special" calendar he is making.

I got there early and had a amazing day being photographed and helping set up shots, helping with costumes etc, it was a great fun day,as all Gino's shoots are, he is such a gent, super friendly and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcomed and relaxed, even though I've been in this business for many years i still struggle to relax into a shoot but Gino is one of those rare and special photographers that has that magical touch in making his models feel extra special about themselves, he's a joy to work with and given the opportunity I'd attend every shoot i could with him.

On top of all this you will get to work with the greatest crowd of people ever, I have made more true friends at these shoots than at any other time of my life.

Couldn't recommend a photographer or studio more highly.

I've known Gino a while now but yesterday he invited me to be 2nd tog on a shoot he had arranged with a wonderful re-enactment model called Ryan Carr.We did a shoot with Ryan in various bits of very very good Police apparel and concluded with a bit of "Alien." Gino is such a blast to work with. Anazingly competent and a bundle of fun with a terrific sense of humour. I have participated in several shoots he has arranged of wonderfully "off the wall" situations too.

If you get a chance to work with Gino, seize it!

My last shoot before everything went crazy in the world and we all got given a lockdown for a few weeks! It was great to be able to get out the house and shoot for a bit and as always it’s great fun working with Gino.

We worked on various different sets including a fun one representing the panic buying of toilet paper!

Thanks for a great shoot and hoping it won’t be too much longer until we can all get back to shooting again, thanks for keeping me sane for a bit and fingers crossed we can work together again soon! 🙏🏼
