Had my first shoot with Rafal on Saturday in Stratford upon avon. Rafal was absolutely lovely! pre comms were fantastic, also comms after were awesome too! easy to chat to, he is very knowledgeable and skilled with working with light and the camera. It felt like a fun day out and we got some amazing images. I chose way too many i liked!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Rafal came back to Basford Hurst Cottage last weekend to shoot with Ell Mae on her studio day. All pre comms with Rafal were great and he arrived on time with everything he needed for a great shoot with Ell.

We had a chat over a cuppa and discussed some ideas for the shoot before him and Ell began working together. Rafal is always a pleasure to have around here at Basford, he always has so many ideas and concepts for his shoots. He is polite, friendly and always chatty!!!

We would of course highly recommend Rafal and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you Rafal!! :D

I had such a fun time working with Rafal! He is super creative, and doesn’t want to just get the same image every time. He worked hard on creating some cool lighting set ups and really knew what he wanted from an image.

Pre shoot comms were great, and made organising the shoot really easy. He arrived on time and with a warm welcome, which made me instantly feel at ease to work with him!

He showed me back of cams throughout, which made it a lot easier for us to both work on creating the best images that we could.

I’d definitely recommend Rafal and can’t wait to work together again!

Rafal is a brilliant photographer! I had a fantastic time shooting in London with him. His precomms were excellent, we discussed ideas and themes for our shoot and then decided to shoot in London. It was long trip for him to come down, so I'm very grateful he did so and we managed to capture some fantastic shots.

I highly recommend Rafal, I hope to work with him again soon.

Photofoyer (Rafal) came to the Black star studio for the first time. He came well prepared carried all essential equipment for the job.

He is very enthusiastic about his photography and has a great knowledge of lighting.

Had a lovely Shoot with Rafal around Oxford. Rafal is a lovely person very friendly and I felt very comfortable with him. He was very kind and considerate towards the fact I'm not as mobile as some Models due to my health condition and was very accommodating and made sure I was okay through out the Shoot. The time just flew by and the images looked fabulous on the back of the camera. Rafal made use of so many things during our Shoot time and got so many different angles and lighting differences. We also stopped for a lovely coffee and a break which I need sometimes due to my chronic pain. Really great person to work with and looking forward to working together again in 2025.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Another visit for Rafal, this time for an afternoon's shoot with the lovely Cariad Celis. Once again all pre comms with Rafal were great and he made everything very easy to organise. He arrived on time with everything he needed for his shoot with Cariad and after a catch up over a cuppa he began shooting.

Throughout the afternoon he worked well with Cariad to produce many wonderful images! He was always respectful of our location and happy to ask if he needed anything.

Rafal is a lot of fun to have around, easy to chat with and we would of course highly reccomend him!! See you soon Rafal!!

I had another fab shoot with Rafal, he is a star as always. His pre shoot comms are always spot on and he works very well in group settings. He attended my self ran tank space day and the images I have seen so far are stunning. Would highly recommend working with Rafal!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Rafal organised a shoot here at Basford Hurst Cottage with the incredibly talented Kate Snig, Artdeomodel.

It was a pleasure to welcome Rafal back to Basford - He is a very passionate photographer with a real eye for taking quality images. He also always brings snacks which can't be a bad thing haha!! During his time here he worked well alongside Kate and was always happy to ask if he needed something.

I am very happy with my shoot with Rafal, it was such a pleasant experience to me. It was our second shoot and this time we shot in London so I was very happy when Rafal told he is coming to London. Rafal showed up in a great mood and the shoot went in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and time just flew away from us. Rafal is a polite, friendly,chatty and respectful photographer who has a great photography vision. Pre-communication was on spot and Rafal chose an amazing outdoor location for our shoot where he took some amazing photographs which look great straight out of the camera. Had the chance to shoot with Rafal again after 5/6 years ago being the last shoot. We were supposed to be shooting at a studio but the studio cancelled so Rafal agreed to come to my home to shoot. As I remember Rafal was very friendly and talkative, full of energy which made him very easy to work with. We got through a number of different sets and changes, always showing me the photos taken as we went along. The time flew by very quickly.

Looking forward to seeing the Images.

I hope its not left so long next time for the next shoot.

Had my first shoot today with Rafal. He's a really creative individual. He moves around with his camera, capturing images from different angles and has an artistic eye for photography.

Prior to the shoot communication was brilliant, we went for suited & booted portraits and some quirky arty shots.

Rafal is very polite and has an extremely professional manner who is incredibly easy to work with, a lovely person, brilliant, fun and easy to shoot with lots of chatting too.

Images from the back of the camera looked fantastic. I highly recommend working with Rafal, a true gentleman and I would be more than happy to work together again in the very near future!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Rafal came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Rebecca Perry on her sold out maternity studio event. All pre comms were great and it was a pleasure to welcome him back for a very special shoot day.

Rafal arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot. After a chat and a cuppa he began shooting through with Rebecca. During his time here at Basford Rafal was completely respectful of our location and made sure to ask if he ever needed anything. He also made sure that Rebecca was comfortable at all times during the shoot.

Rafal pays a lot of attention to lighting and set up and makes sure to capture images from lots of different angles. The back of the camera looked great and I really look forward to seeing the edits!! Rafal comes highly recommended from us here at Basford and we look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thanks Rafal and see you soon!!

I've been so impressed by Rafal from start to finish. :)

His pre-shoot comms are always perfect, from planning what we wanted to shoot to where we were going to shoot and directions whilst on set. Everything was clearly presented, messages were professional, warm & friendly, His years of experience working with a variety of models was evident. On our shoot day He was friendly and chatty and she couldn't have done more to make me feel at ease.

I would absolutely recommend collaborating with Rafal to all Models and look forward to creating with him again in the near future.
